Beyond beating everyone else on price, Absolute Appliance had a refreshingly reasonable payment structure. They took a deposit upfront and didn't require full payment until we scheduled delivery. Other stores wanted the entire balance paid months in advance, which felt pretty crazy given that ordering and delivery timelines had a five month spread. That kind of policy ties up your money for no good reason. Every appliance was delivered on time and in perfect condition. Installation went smoothly, and the entire process was better than I could have hoped for. If you're in the market for premium appliances, I highly recommend Absolute Appliance. This entire experience was a let down from the very very start. The 24" Bosch oven unit we ordered…read morewas back ordered for several months. Not the biggest deal breaker but a big inconvenience nonetheless. This was only communicated a few weeks into the process. Upon attempting to deliver 2 months later, the drivers arrived with a damaged unit. We denied this and demanded a new unit but were quoted another month. Neither Bosch nor Universal appliance did anything to help expedite the process. I felt like I was the one bothering them the entire time. I finally caved and decided to look at other options which were all more expensive. I was looking at a Miele unit but after some research realized my breaker wouldn't be able to support the added amperage. The company denied my request to check out the damaged unit and instead wanted me to have them install it and then repair it later, all at the expense of my time. After 3 months, I was ready to give up and requested a refund. I tried over the phone and in person at the store but was told it was being ran up the ladder for approval both times. Nobody seemed in a hurry to help and instead mentioned that magically my new Bosh oven arrived. The manger told me that the refund would be processed by end of the day which never came. The next day when I called and spoke to the same manager, he quickly eluded that he was on another phone call once he recognized my voice. Needless to say he could even be bothered to return my call. I wasn't sure why it had to end so ugly, but I reached out to my bank to disputed the charges since I paid 3K and never received anything. Such a horrible experience and still never got a call back. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

We were referred to Bay Cities by our friend who's a legendary contractor and knows all the best people in town. We showed up and were greeted by Jacques, the owner. We felt like we were guests in his house, not customers in an appliance shop. Before even doing anything, he took a huge amount of time to get to know us and understand our needs. He showed us all the different models and spent literally hours explaining all of the ins and outs and made a recommendation based on what we like to cook, not just based on what looks nicest. And it happened not even to be the very most expensive model! During the process of figuring out what we want and ordering, we truly became friends with Jacques. He's hands down the kindest, most professional person not only in this business but in ANY business. He matched it to a wonderful professional hood at a great price and recommended a fantastic installer. Once it was time to deliver and install the Wolf, Jacques has his expert team do the work. They were efficient, professional and did a great job despite it being a very challenging fit! Even after delivery, Jacques patiently answered my questions. I cannot imagine any better place to go in Los Angeles County then this amazing store for high-end appliances. Don't waste your time going anywhere else.
