The Dyson service center is my go to place for buying or fixing my Dyson. Their customer service is amazing and everybody is super nice and it doesn't feel like it's a car dealership where they're trying to upsell you and tell you everything is broken. If you need a new battery is the same price as you can buy an Amazon and they install it for free!!! If you need any accessories, they have everything there. The best part is they have a list of all the prices so they match the best price that is been sold by any company in the country. They obviously do a lot of warranty work and basic repairs. But I have learned is that if you clean your Dyson and take it apart with an air compressor, it will run so much more efficiently it won't overheat and drain the battery. I do feel like this place is kind of a secret and I wish there was more advertisement but every time I go in, they take care of me and I always recommend people to this location! read more

I live in northern Minnesota and a trip to Minneapolis to repair my Dyson was not something I was looking forward to, however, I did remember the last time I had my Dyson repaired at the Edina repair center and the staff(Kevin) went out of his way to help me. It turned out to be warranty work and my Dyson 12 and I were in the truck and on our way home. No charge. Right then I swore, if I ever need work done, I'm going to Kevin. April,2026...Dyson was acting up so I called Kevin and explained what the machine was doing. Kevin says "bring it down and we will fix it while u wait." He sounded confident so I hopped in the truck and drove 3 hours to the Edina repair center. I walked in, Kevin dropped everything and took the machine in back, fixed it like new, charged me less than $50 and I was back on my way home in under 15 minutes. Unreal!!! I've always had great service here. I'm usually second or third in line on a weekday afternoon. They know their stuff and it's usually operator laziness and I need to clean it out better. But I did have trouble with a battery and they replaced it for a reasonable price. So, our experience isn't going to be normal, but: A small but critical part of our 15+ year old Target-edition Dyson broke over the weekend, and we went in to see if we could get a replacement part. The person working said it was unlikely, given the age of the vacuum, but then he went in back, rummaged through the vacuums there for recycling, found a part that fit, and we were back on our way--no charge. Who knew there was a dyson service center in the twin cities??? Apparently you all did...as there are many reviews singing it's praises, and I'm here to add on. 1) if you dont have a dyson vacuum, get yourself one. I've had mine for 17 years and it's still going strong. 2) if you run into minor issues with your vacuum , bring it here to get fixed quickly and generally pretty reasonable in price. Other logistical things to note: It's tucked back into a small shopping center so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. They have limited hours so check those before heading out! read more

Between pet hair, life in general and my serious obsession with keeping my home spotless I was devastated when my Dyson broke down. My handy dandy Yelp app lead me to discover the Dyson Service Center in nearby Edina. They are hidden within an office park area not far away from 494 & 100 and they are THEE lace to go if your Dyson fall ill. The first time I went in Jim helped me and had my beloved carpet cleaner back in my hands within minutes. Once home it sadly died again after a quick swipe of the living room. It was a few days until I was able to make it back there and again I was met at the door by Jim. I explained that it was still sick but hopefully not terminal. Again Jim took my vacuum to the back and once again returned within 15 minutes or so. The second time was a charm and I am back to happily vacuuming (almost) daily. Jim was a delight to work with and has a great, laid back attitude as does the other gentleman who was there both times. I failed to catch his name but as I waited for my repair each time I watched them both interact with several customers and always with a smile and superb customer service which we all know can be hard to find. I'm continually impressed with Dyson's loyalty to its customers. No matter how old the machine, I always receive above and beyond service. I recently moved to Minnesota, and my vacuum had to deal with a lot of dust from renovation work in the home. I have visited the Edina Dyson store 2 times. Each time one of my vacuums was repaired, and my hair dryer was replaced with a new one--under warranty. On this second visit I purchased a third vacuum, and then you small version that just came out, since my home has three floors and is very large. I received a 30% discount on the establish model. This vacuum is the most infuriating piece of garbage I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The trip to the service center was so easy and free bc they didn't fix the darn thing. The hose doesn't come on even when the rest of the vac does. The plastic is cheap and I suspect it's a problem with a valve. Take your overpriced appliance Dyson and give people the quality we pay for. Ugh this is why I'm cheap. So many expensive things are all profit margin. read more

I have Dyson vacuum. It was awesome for one year. Dyson is one of the best... until it's not. We have reached out 3-4 times to see what to do to fix our vacuum. Today on hold for 45 minutes just to talk to an operator. Then finally got to talk to a service rep. He listened for a bit. He put me on hold and never came back. This place has created a fusion customer for life. I've been here twice in the last 5+ years and very happy with the service both times! The first was to fix a traditional style dyson, which they did on the spot by replacing a part (under warranty) and I was on my way free of charge. The second was a battery needing replacing after a few years of use on my handheld style dyson- they replaced this within 5 minutes and I was again on my way because it was under warranty. Fantastic customer service!! Went in with an older model Dyson upright that has been a workhorse for years, but stopped working one morning. Employee took it in back to check out and less than 5 minutes later I had a working vacuum again and paid basically no $. Very impressed with this Dyson Service Center. Our stick vacuums all work fine currently but if an issue arises, I won't hesitate going in as I know they offer top notch service at minimal pricing and ensure customers are happy. The staff here is beyond helpful. I came in because of an air mover issue (movers broke mine) and they were able to quickly take care of me and resolve the issue although it was totally out of warranty. They were very knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. I can not say enough positive things about my experience. Great customer service. I was acknowledged right when I walked in the door. There were 3 people ahead of me and the guy thoroughly took care of each of us in a timely manner. Unfortunately my machine is too old and cost more to fix it than to buy a new one so I passed on the repairs. They did give me some great offers to buy a new one from there--prices are comparable to other stores that sell them so why not buy your machine direct from them? It was neat to learn about the technology and purpose of each of the vacuums. I don't currently have a need but will go back there if I ever decide to make a purchase again! What I liked most was their customer service, the ability to walk in without an appointment and be seen, & the expertise of the people working there 5/22/2018 Went back after a couple of months contemplating investing in another dyson. Tried researching my options online on the dyson website and got a headache trying to figure it all out. Went into the store--the technicians (same two that were there last time I went in) again were patient and helpful and took care of each customer in a timely fashion. I watched them service each customer and take care of their issues one by one. In the 45 minutes I was there at least 10 people came in and out of therand and every single one left happy because their issues were covered under their machine's warranty! The guy explained all of my options, helped me decide which was the best fit for me, honored dyson.com online pricing, and I walked out with a machine in no time. Also, I appreciate that even though it would cost them more to recycle my old model vs me throwing it in the dumpster, the tech was adamant about doing what is best for our environment. Kudos to him! Brought my Dyson DC25 Animal to the Service Center for a checkup. Yes that is the model name! The technicians gave it the once over, thoroughly cleaned it and now it works like new. I was referred to this Dyson Service Center via Dyson after going through the diagnostic self help text they sent me. The Rotary tool attachment was no longer rotating. After supplying my original receipt, they very promptly replaced the attachment no questions asked. I had registered the purchase on Dyson's website at the time of purchase. I needed a replacement charger for my Dyson V8 and before I ordered a Chinese knock off that would be available at my door steps in two business days, I decided to check the specialized local service / sales options for Dyson to see if they had them available for Purchase. Called, talked to a real person and headed over, card in hand, only to be told, "it's on us sir, no charge." Pleasantly Shocked! These guys are awesome. Best service I have received just about anywhere for anything. Corporate Dyson customer service told me that my minor problem could not be fixed and I would need to replace a much larger part at a cost of $129 since my vacuum was one month out of warranty. I was not too pleased about having to pay so much for what is essentially poor product design. I have a variety of Dyson products, but that got me thinking that maybe it is time to try a different manufacturer. But, I faced DSC Minneapolis a call because they had done a great job fixing a different minor issue when the product was under warranty. They said, "No problem. We'll take care of you." Five minute fix, no charge. I could not have been more satisfied and impressed with their customer focus. And, I am still a Dyson customer because of them. read more

Took my Dyson Upright in for service today. It was one week out of warranty. Chris was very knowledgeable and courteous. He replaced the clutch and filters and got my machine running like new again.
