I visited the Norcross Dyson repair center. The gentleman who assisted me had just moved to Georgia and taken over the store. He was incredibly knowledgable, thoughtful and attentive. I almost forgot I was at a vacuum repair store. As I waited for him to finish with the customer ahead of me, I heard how he exercised something super rare in today's world - he actually listened to the customer he was helping. He was empathetic and exceeded the expectations of the gentleman he was helping (the words of that customer, not me ad libbing). He was equally exemplary in how he helped me. I am now reunited with my Dyson. During its absence, I used another brand. I really thought the other brand was doing a decent job. That was until my Dyson came home. (People laugh that my vacuum cleaner and I are on a first name basis!!). My properly cleaned Dyson sucks - but in a great way. My Dyson stopped working! With one dog and two cats, the thought of not having my vacuum for a week while it was being repaired was not an idea I could live with. I checked out the repair location that is nearest my home in mid-town, and decided not to use them. The yelp review was very negative. I looked further on the web for additional places that might service my Dyson vacuum. Through my search, I found Dyson Service Center Atlanta. I called. and they suggested I being in my vacuum and they would look at it while I waited. While I was not thrilled to drive to Doraville where the shop is located, I was so happy that I did. Dan and Morris looked at my vacuum and quickly determined the problem. Since they have hundreds of parts at their shop, my vacuum was ready in minutes. Plus in addition to replacing the non-functioning part, they cleaned my filter and the rest of the machine. The cost -$0. Dyson's warranty is 5 yrs and they took care of all the paperwork for me. I brought my Dyson vacuum in from South Carolina to the Atlanta area for servicing. My Dyson vacuum would not keep suction as if it were clogged. When I arrived, I met the Repair Technician and he took my vacuum on the little table when I arrived and started to find I had no suction. He told me to give him a moment, he took the canister and I waited for maybe three minutes. Other customers came in and I conversed with them while awaiting my technician's return. He put my vacuum back together and I had suction!! Everything was working in proper order. The problem was my canister was not clean and it had prevented the inner hoses from working properly. I was dumbfounded yet relieved. I went on to thank the kind gentleman who was my repair technician for without him, I would not have known what I needed to do get my vacuum back in working order. Also, my drive in from South Carolina to the Atlanta-area would have been somewhat of a waste. I will direct any Yelp user or anyone with a Dyson product to go to the Atlanta-area service center. I have had a Dyson Animal for many years. I really like the suction and the maintenance. I am not afraid to take something apart and fix it myself. I tried to troubleshoot my upright when I noticed half of the rotating brush was not spinning. I cut away the hair/fur as usual, but when I got it back together, still not spinning. I called the Norcross location to make sure they were seeing customers (due to COVID-19). "Bring it in" So I did. I found that they were seeing customers outside which would explain why their phone went to an answering machine. They were busy. They wore masks. I wish I could remember a name. I explained my problem, he gave a ticket to fill out and took it inside to assess. Then in a short while, he returned with a new part. The vacuum head was replaced with a new part!! I had registered it online and it was still under warranty, so it cost me nothing!! I was so happy!! And when I got home and tested it, of course it worked like brand new!! If it breaks again, I will definitely return! If I buy another vacuum it will be a Dyson. Thank you!! read more

Recently purchased a Dyson DC65 after learning what an incredible price we could get if we traded in our old Hoover. Let me first just say Dyson's are amazing, the fit and finish of the vacuum is top notch... the suction compared to our Hoover is night and day. The Hoover blew dust everywhere, not anymore with the Dyson. It was gross to see what was being left in our carpet with the Hoover. If anyone is on the fence about making the Dyson switch or purchase - DO IT! Onto the Dyson Center... I was amazed at the customer service I received. Dan opened the box for me, and put it all together for me...the whole time showing me how to use everything and how to get the filters out to clean them. He carried everything to my car too. You don't get Customer Service like this anymore... so it was a treat. I would highly recommend anyone to visit this store...and Dan mentioned they beat all pricing from other retailers. So go check them out and ask for Dan! You won't be disappointed. read more

Somehow the wand on my DC59 Motörhead vacuum broke. I called the Dyson Service Center and spoke to a nice young man named Kyle. He told me they had the wands in stock but to bring my entire vac in so they could give it a once over when I arrived. Kyle checked the warranty eligibility on the vacuum and of course it had run out last year. He offered me the ability to trade in the vac and receive a credit toward a new vac. It was a nice offer but Dyson vacs are not cheap so I passed but Kyle was able to find me a wand in the back and gave it to me for no charge. Kyle also cleaned my vac while he had it in the back. He was very nice and helpful. They also did not charge the lady in front of me to fix her vac. She was out of warranty but it was a very small fix so they just took care of it and sent her on her way. Must be how they do business there. Super nice guys. Really enjoyed the experience and I will probably take advantage of their trade in program when I'm ready for a new Dyson. read more

The service was excellent! I called before arriving since I live far out of town, and all three of the workmen there were expecting my arrival and very attentive. "Merlin" had my Dyson Animal 41 fixed in about 10minutes. Just enough time to quickly shop for father's day and pick up pet cleaning extras for me. I love it! The store/shop was extremely clean and the other two men there were very helpful and able to answer my many questions about Dyson products and even put my vacuum and new purchases in the car. Very customer friendly place to be. (sounds like a Publix commercial ha-ha) Definitely worth the long trip out there. Bathrooms were excellent and even had Dyson gadgets to dry hands as well. Santos then took the time to go over ALL my questions about cleaning rates, battery replacement vs. new handheld cost benefits, differences/advantages among each model for my specific needs, warranty benefits, and each of the DC animal attachments that my mother handed down to me. Bought a Dyson last year for $500 and a few days ago it stopped vacuuming the way I know it can. Initially, I was going to use trusty YouTube for troubleshooting but for $500, I shouldn't have to. Noticed the Dyson Service Center near my home and decided to stop in. It's easily accessible, tucked away off Jimmy Carter Blvd. I walked in, was quickly greeted and before I could explain, the serviceman grabbed the Dyson and went to the back. Less than a minute later he retuned stating he cleaned out a clogged line. Last week I had a door repaired and used the Dyson for cleanup. Bits of drywall was stuck in the vacuum cleaner. Dyson's are amazing machines, but stay away from drywall. Per the serviceman, It can clog and damage your Dyson. Overall, this service center is A+ read more

After my Dyson Animal quit I went to my local vacuum repair shop to get an estimate, came back at $200 and about a week to get it up and running. I wanted to get another quote or buy a new machine. I called the number on my Dyson and the customer service was above and beyond. They told me I was under warranty and to take it to the "Dyson Service Center" in Doraville. I left the machine with Matt. Next thing I knew the machine was completely repaired and ready to pick up! I was thrilled, three days and FREE... Yes $0!!!! My Dyson Animal now runs like a new machine, and I have had it for almost 5 years!! I have two small children and a German Shepard and it doesn't skip a beat... I'm really disappointed with my experience at the Norcross Dyson Service Center. I confirmed my new address in person when I dropped off my unit, and about an hour later, I even received a text asking me to confirm my address again over the phone -- which I did. Despite that, Dyson still shipped my replacement to my old address. It's frustrating because I went out of my way to make sure they had the correct information twice, yet the mistake still happened. Now I have to deal with the hassle of trying to recover a package that was sent to the wrong place. Dyson really needs to improve their communication and attention to detail, especially when customers take extra steps to confirm important information like their shipping address. read more

They are very busy and don't always have time to take your call but will definitely give you the customer service attention if you walk into their store. No appointment needed. Walk ins are fine. The staff at the Norcross location have always been attentive and informative. Appreciate them very much. Dyson is expensive...but you get what you pay for as we all know. It's a quality product. If you want to see how dirty your flooring is...buy a Dyson. You will see how much dirt there is in the tank. It never ceases to amaze me after I just vacuumed the day before! Thank you! We purchased our first Dyson just over a year ago. The brush quit turning so I decided to go by the Dyson service center (even though it was across town) before stopping by my local vacuum cleaner repair shop. What a good move! Not only were the guys friendly and ran a clean shop, they replaced the bad brush head and I walked out the door in less than 10 minutes. I must have been incredibly lucky as the brush head was replaced at no cost! Now that's customer service! No wonder Dyson has such a good reputation. That goodwill alone will keep me a loyal customer. My advice to other Dyson owners: take the time to drive to the Dyson service center rather than your local vacuum repair shop. I have a DC40 where the changeover hose needed replacing due to age. Went in the service center and was told the part was $40 and labor would be $75 so I would end up spending well over $100 to fix. However I could trade in the unit for a discount on a new unit. I don't mind paying for service but I think the approach there is to give a high quote and then up sell to a new machine. Update: I initially had this at a 1 star. However, after bringing the "hard sell" approach to management's attention, they rectified the situation and took care of me. It's not usual these days for companies to listen to their customers. For this, I updated to 4 stars (would have been 5 stars if done initially). read more

Absolutely Perfect! I had mothballed our Dyson for three years thinking it had given up the ghost but when the Hoover replacement bit the dust I decided to see if the Dyson could be repaired. The service was OUTSTANDING. They not only got to it immediately (15 minutes for three different repairs), the price was incredibly reasonable and they made the Dyson like new. They replaced a part and cleaned the filters just as an extra. These guys care about their work and people. Seriously, do not go anywhere else! My folks have an older model Dyson upright vacuum way beyond its warranty that I use when I clean their house once a week. It had not been performing as well lately, so I took it to the service center. Turns out there's a filter that's supposed to be washed periodically - never been done as far as I know. I asked them to give it a tune-up and was asked to wait about 10 minutes, and offered some cold water while I waited (It was a very hot day). They cleaned the filter and dirt canister and brought it back -- works like new! When I asked what I owed, the answer was "nothing"! These are the most professional, courteous, and friendly people in the service industry I've ever visited. Went in twice with different products within 6 or 8 months and had my Dyson's repaired in the time it would take to eat a pastrami sandwich with mustard and a side of potato salad. (Just for reference sake). Anyway I could not be happier and have more faith or confidence in a service center than Dyson on Pleasantdale road. I would typically only think of writing a review to warn folks of poor service, but this was so impressive they deserve 2 more stars. Great product, better service. Had such a wonderful FANTASTIC experience with Justin, that I stood in the store and logged on to write this review. This is exactly the sort of experience all businesses should strive for. While walking my dog, I found a "broken" Dyson vacuum that someone left on the curb. I took it home and realized that even the broken Dyson worked better than my regular vacuum! The suction worked, but the brush wasn't turning and it was kind of beat up, so I decided to take it to the Dyson service center so they could have a look. Bobby looked it over, replaced the brush and another broken part, and didn't even charge me for the repairs! In fact, he got my name and info and switched the vacuum's registration over to my name!
