Walking into this gym honestly feels more like trying to enter a high-end South Beach nightclub than a fitness center. The atmosphere gives the impression that if you are older, overweight, or simply not part of the young crowd, you are made to feel unwelcome and discouraged from coming in. Instead of treating all paying members with respect, the environment often feels selective, judgmental, and unnecessarily hostile toward older adults. :::writing{variant="social_post" id="46192"} As an older adult in my 50s/60s, I feel genuinely concerned and disappointed by the way my wife and I have been treated at EōS Fitness. It honestly feels like this gym only wants younger people under 30 and makes older members feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Back in 2023, I opened a membership for both of us during a promotion they were offering for around $10. On our very first visit, we were immediately stopped at the entrance and given a hard time. Because of how uncomfortable the experience felt, we verbally cancelled the membership on the spot and left the gym. We never returned after that day. Despite this, the cancellation was apparently never processed, and I continued being charged for months afterward until I finally stopped the charges myself. What makes this situation even more concerning is that this gym clearly tracks unpaid accounts and blocks people from entering if payments are not current. Their system immediately flags accounts if there is a balance issue. So it makes no sense that they continued charging and eventually claimed I was "in collections" years later even though we had stopped going entirely after verbally cancelling. A year later, my wife decided to give the gym another chance and opened a new membership under her name for both of us. Since then, almost every visit has become stressful. We barely even attend -- less than once a week -- yet every time we walk in, we are stopped, questioned, and treated as if there is always some kind of issue with our account. Meanwhile, younger members walk in freely without being questioned at all. After nearly a year of these repeated confrontations, it honestly feels like discrimination against older adults. We are paying members and still made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome every single time we enter. On top of that, there were ongoing billing issues involving charges appearing in different places/accounts for the same membership, and despite repeated attempts to fix the situation, nobody properly resolved it. The final incident happened when I was suddenly told I was "in collections" over an issue from 2024 despite having an active membership that had been paid for almost a year. The employee who stopped us, Maddy Barrios, refused to provide any information about management or who we could contact to file a complaint. We repeatedly asked for a manager's name, phone number, or corporate contact information, and she refused to provide anything, stating that she was the highest authority at the gym. I truly hope the owners understand that older adults deserve the same respect and welcoming environment as younger members. My recent experience trying to sign up for a membership at EōS Fitness was very disappointing. I visited twice to enroll through my One Pass membership. On my first visit, the One Pass app was down, by the time I returned to the gym five mins later after talking with customer service, the manager had left for the night. Today, which was my second visit, the front desk attendant spoke with the manager and explained that I was there to complete my membership and that this was my second trip. After waiting several minutes, I was told the manager would not be signing up insurance-based memberships today and that he had an upcoming meeting. It seems like he simply did not have time to be bothered. What made this especially frustrating was that I had already waited 30 minutes during my first visit while the on duty manager (for that night) assisted other potential customers with their memberships. Entering my One Pass membership information would have taken only a few minutes, yet I was turned away. I ended up going to another gym and signing up with no issues. The quality was a little bit low compared to some other locations and it seemed to have issues with a lot of their equipment. Both young women were pressured by staff at the EōS Fitness club in Euless, Texas into signing long-term contracts for memberships and recurring personal training sessions. They were told the services were "just to try out" and that they could cancel within three days. When they attempted to cancel, staff refused, claiming no one was available and later asserting they were locked into binding agreements. I signed up on the website for a 7 day trial pass and came in to tour the location. I'm not going to join a gym without trying it. As I come in front desk sign up tablet was broken, the towel machine is labeled as broken, and Anthony asks to see my license and informs me that because Addison is closer to my home, they can't do the 7 day trial but that he could show me around. It seemed quite sketchy and like a lie to get someone to sign up for a gym. I don't believe the manager doesn't have the means to have someone try a gym. I work 10 minutes from this location and would never use the Addison one. He was uninterested and kept repeating that he could still show me around. I decline and left. I've been a member for three months overall the Euless location is smaller than the rest but has better equipment IMO. I love that they are clean and always friendly. I would love to get the Cryo chairs available and the punching bags. Overall it's a great gym. This gym is always crowded, much more so than the LA Fitness across the highway was, back when I was a member there, so they must be doing something right. It's a bit surreal how busy they always are, actually. I can hardly even find a parking spot but hey, if I have to walk a long way then that must just be extra workout, right? I joined before they opened so I got the Black membership for $25 a month, plus they waived the sign up fee. That's typically the advantage you get when joining a new gym. I actually also belong to a local municipal rec center which I honestly like better as it's much less crowded plus they have an indoor track which is nice, but I feel that with EoS I am getting my money's worth as a backup gym. The weight area is always quite crowded, but they have multiples of most of the equipment to the point that it's actually easier to get the weights/machines you want, than it might be elsewhere. The cardio cinema room is a great idea; I have enjoyed it the handful of times I have used it which has been limited to the days they actually showed a movie that I had interest in. But I understand they need to have a variety. I have only tried the yoga classes thus far but I want to try some others. It would be nice if they didn't require advance sign up plus printing the little paper receipt. Just do first come first served and save everyone the trouble. People reserve spots and then no-show all the time anyway so what's the point? I recommend the Monday 5 p.m. yoga; the instructor always has something different and I like the diversity. I have avoided the trainers as I find in big box gyms it's not a great value or service and tends to be high pressure. I have my own training program anyway. I am sure if I took advantage of my "free" training session or evaluation, I would find myself pressured to buy more which I have no interest in. Overall I would recommend this gym. They have different levels so you can choose what you want and/or what you find to be the best value. Oh, the Black membership has unlimited guest privileges so if you have a partner, honestly it's almost like getting a 2 for 1. So before you sign up, here are a couple of things I learned through the process that I wish I would have known prior. First, the actual cost. I'm sure you've seen all the $9.99 per month with the free to join. So "free to join" is not really free. You see they charge an annual fee which they bill you on your first billing which is $49.99. So you are actually paying $14.15 per month, they're just taking the difference up front. When you go in for the $9.99 deal a lot of times they don't have a join for free that deal which means they hit you with $129 to join plus the $49.99 yearly fee plus your initial $9.99 on your first billing. See how this is shaping up.? That comes out to $24.90 per month only you're handing them $179 up front. So much for a reasonably priced gym membership, hey? Oh but wait there's more! When you go in thinking you're getting this great deal before you set down for the pricing they walk you around the gym and show you all the fancy amenities: massage chairs, water massage, a theater with cardio equipment... you end up in awe of the clean club. Now you sit down for pricing and you say sign me up for that $9.99! Ok, they say but you can't use all that cool stuff I just showed you. You pretty much just get the weights and a small workout area. Huh? Yeah, shoulder shrug, you can't even join a fitness class with that $9.99, bottom lip sticks out in a pout. But don't worry, for just $25 (approximate with tax) you can use all the cool stuff. Of course you'll have a $20 join fee and the $49.99 yearly fee so you're now paying $30.83 per month but you're giving them the $70 bucks up front. Well, ok, I guess. Then with a smile they ask you if you travel. Yes, I do travel. Well, we're building and expanding every day! That's great, really helpful! Oh but wait, you'll need the "black" membership to access other clubs. With tax the black membership is $32 with tax + $20 to join and $49.99 annual fee. Now it's costing you approximately $38 per month. Now with the black membership you get this wrist band to use on these fancy weights that will keep track of what you lift and your progress as you go. Cool. Ok, it an investment in me so I guess so since there's no contract. So now I'm signed up with the fancy black membership with the wristband to use the highly advanced AI weight machines. I have my appointment for my welcome session. I'm walked through all these cool things and when I set down on the AI weights I'm shown this spectacular program where the machines can be set at these individual programs to help you meet your goals! Wow! Right? Wrong! You'll need to pay for personal training sessions to have the personal trainer sign onto the machines and maximize what the machine can actually do for you. I mean you can still use the machine and it will keep track of where you're at and what you've done, you just can't get the program you really need if you don't pay for training. So let's say at this point you can't take not another fee or scammy policy and you decide to part ways. Well you have to give a 60 day notice so depending on where you're at in your billing cycle you could end up paying for 3 more months. So a total of 4 months paid with no refund of the on the annual fee or join up fee here are your approximate costs from 4 months of membership...The Basic: $54 per month, The Blue: $43 per month and The Black $50 per month. So, after being in the club what are my thoughts as far as what I like: *Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Stay away from the trainer manager, he's high pressure on getting you to sign up for training. * The theater room amazing except one elliptical is very noisy. It needs serviced. *If you can go at odd times the club is slow and you can get on the equipment. I have an open schedule so it's not a problem, however I've happened on when the club is busy and it's small. You'll have issues getting on the machines. *the equipment is all new and I've only found on thing not in perfect working order. *The staff does a good job keeping the club cleaned *Its my understanding most of the clubs are twice the size of this location so if you pay the highest price, you can visit the larger clubs. Now I have seen several reviews that state upon canceling there are issues with getting the cancellation to go through to a point where people are continued to be charged for months. I saw a review where someone couldn't get the training session to stop being charged after moving and they couldn't even do the sessions. So be prepared to close your checking account and reopen another account. It's a hassle but could save you a hassle. Personally, I would rather change some stuff around instead of trying to get money refunded. Do I recommend, nah, not really. If I would have known all this prior to joining, would I have joined, nope. read more

My girlfriend and I just moved to the Euless area last week and were looking for a new gym. We signed up for the 7-day free trial and visited EoS on 2/8/2025. First, they claimed a Texas ID was required (hers is from OK), but mine is from Texas. We explained that we had just moved and even showed our lease agreement as proof. The staff member spoke with the "manager," who then said our IDs had to match the lease. At that point, we decided to just pay for the day pass, assuming it was only necessary for her since she had an out-of-state ID. However, they then told me I also had to pay because my ID listed a Dallas address, which was supposedly outside their "15-mile radius". The whole experience was frustrating and felt like a complete joke of management. They need to do better. read more

At times I would park in front of Total Wine. 5 AM isn't as bad as 6 AM thru midnight. 6AM to midnight you will spend a good amount of time waiting for literally any equipment. My typically 1 hour workout was easily stretched to close to 2 hours due to waiting. And some customers hoard ropes and bars because it's sometimes hard to find what you need. I considered buying my own accessories and then decided it was time to move on. They keep promoting and keep signing people up. I get it's a business. All I can say is they no longer get my business. No one showed us how to sign in, register or access the amenities we're paying for. There's supposed to be a welcome workout to show us how to use the amenities. No one told us about it. When I did find out about it & schedule it, the lady was short with us after being 20 minutes late. (She was at the front desk talking when I approached her). The trainers don't wipe down the equipment they use with clients. They also leave weights around the gym. The GM walks around in branded tees and no uniform, so you can't tell if he's working or not. He also doesn't know what OSHA is. He decided to mop the bathroom floors without putting down a wet floor signs. Myself and an other older gentlemen almost tripped and fell in the large puddle of water that was left. The gym is incredibly over crowded. The equipment takes too long to fix. read more

You can never just "sign up" for a membership. Scam. They want to take you through an hour and a half "fitness assessment" which ultimately ends in them pressuring you to get a personal trainer(PT). Scam. They give you 3 days to cancel your PT even though your first session may not be for another week or so. Scam. They tell you to count your calories but the diet plan that comes with the service doesn't count calories. Scam. I did the PT for 2 months and was no longer able to continue. I tried to cancel by the terms in my contract (sent an email) and was told I had to go in person. Scam. I also tried calling their customer care to cancel my gym membership but they said because I had an "active" PT plan, I would have to cancel it first and I would still have to go in person to do so. Went in person and explained my situation to the Manager (John) and he told me I couldn't cancel it at all. I even told him that I wouldn't be able to come to the gym to even do the training and still couldn't cancel. Scam. I updated my payment information so they couldn't charge me for services I wasn't using. I received an email about paying for gym membership and decided to call customer care again. I explained the process I went through and told them I wanted to cancel my membership. They told me that my PT service had already been cancelled 3 weeks ago and that I could cancel my membership but I would still be responsible for 2 months of membership fees (despite not going to the gym within those 2 months). I asked if those fees could be waived because I was not notified of my PT membership being cancelled otherwise I would've called to cancel the gym membership sooner. They said I would have to go in person and speak with the manager. They are constantly giving the run around and they don't honor any of their policies in the contracts you sign. read more

Staff although young had zero people skills and left us waiting for close to an hour and never came up to get us signed up. It's interesting seeing all the sub par reviews of this gym on here, I've been going here about a month now almost every day and I can't say enough good things about it. The gym is always clean they have a lot of equipment and a lot of the same pieces so you really don't have to wait for much equipment, I wish they had loop bands and such but that's not even remotely a big deal compared to what you get. The gym is fantastic--spotlessly clean, with a great variety of equipment and amenities. There's an impressive number of cardio machines, a lap pool, and even an outdoor workout area.
