Supposed to show up at 11am. Received numerous messages throughout the day that they would arrive in 30 minutes. Never showed. Our car was in our garage with the door open and we were home the entire time. They said they showed up and no one was home. Even our front gate confirmed there was no tow truck. Last time they were supposed to arrive was 3:15 pm. Finally received a call from them at 4:30pm after we had cancelled the order with onstar. On 5/13/2026 MBZ have assigned E&C to tow my car. The estimated wait time was 60 - 90 min. They kept texting me with the progress. Closer to two hours wait I called and texted ...951.963.4151, but No response, just automated text ETA soon. Then after two hours wait, in the dark at 8p.m they Canceled the work order(!) They consistently lied to me in regard to my tow truck arrival over the course of 94 minutes they promised me arrival window which never materialize I would highly recommend you stay away from these people. The first problem is the telephone and then when they call when they do answer they will lie to you. Got my car towed by CHP on Feb 11 at 10pm and this company was who picked it up. Showed up on Feb 13 at 1 pm to pick it. Prior to showing up I called and a lady told me the price was $480, so I proceed to business with $480 cash in hand. When I arrived the door was locked and finally a lady (w/purple hair) comes out and was rude from the beginning. She then tells me the price was $630.27. I was shocked. She explains they accidentally quoted me for 2 days when it was 3 days. Huh. Not sure how there math works but the 11th at 10pm to the 13th at 1pm is two days. Two overnights, car wasn't even there 48 hours total. I get my classic car towed a lot and have lots of friends that have used them to tow their classic cars etc. and I will be sure to make sure nobody I know uses them again. Do not use this service! Tow truck driver left the car with a blown out tire at the shop without doing a proper discharge process or giving the keys back to the driver or the shop. The car shop workers were even shocked and stated they've never had a tow truck driver do that. When calling to give feedback about the service the lady on the phone hung up. Completely unacceptable service. Edit: The owner of the vehicle communicated to the the person who was driving the tow truck that she was going to check inside to see if this place would be able to take the car and there was a slight wait to see if they could do that and when stepping back outside to let the tow truck driver know, he was gone. He completed the paperwork on your end however the shop itself said that is not the usual process. I understand that the financial side of this is to go through the roadside service rather than your company now, as I stated on the phone. read more

Great service our driver Chino provided for my tow when my car broke down. AAA send them and they towed my car safely to the repair shop.

The tow truck driver, Miguel was on time, very attentive, and EXTREMELY HELPFUL! Instead of towing my car to the shop, he asked me what was wrong. I says, the radiator coolant hose. He did a temporary fix and now I'm on my way! Exceptional service! Well done! read more

By far the worst tow company I have ever had to deal with. Both drivers were good. Dispatch is nonexistent, communication is nonexistent! I waited 2 plus hours for tow to show up, then was told that the driver was not going to haul truck strait to the repair shop. It would be held in the yard till the next driver came on and would be delivered by noon. I had to call to keep getting status updates. The truck was finally delivered at 6:20 pm to the repair shop. Thank god the shop owner is family, he stuck around to receive the truck, at that point I was told that I owed $168.00 for mileage over my AAA membership miles. They had all day to covey this to me but waited till they were at the shop. Very unprofessional, management at this company is a joke. DO NOT USE! read more

If you've ever been stranded in need of a tow, you know its not fun. If you've ever been stranded in need of a tow 20 mins outside of Palm Springs in the pitch black night on the freeway, you know that life is really putting your sanity to the test. My car decided the CA-111 was the perfect spot to give out, stranding my party of 4 after a couple days in Palm Springs. After a consultation with AAA the estimated tow truck pickup time would be 12:15, which I was not fond of considering it was about 9:30 at night. I decided to call this towing service to see if that estimated time was actually accurate--this is where the story takes a turn for the better. The extremely kind and professional gentleman that picked up was named Sunny. Sunny told me of the 5 calls that came in at once and how I was unlucky number 4 but he was the one coming to get me. He told me it'll be about two hours from the current time (10:45pm) and that he would come as soon as possible. Without going into unnecessary detail, Sunny helped us out tremendously that night and my party and I were able to get to sleep much sooner than expected. He dropped my car off at the mechanic I had chosen and was very communicative throughout the entire process. You saved our backs (and our sleep) that night Sunny, and for that you have my gratitude. read more

My car was stolen that I just had recently purchased. I called the police to file a stolen vehicle report. I was informed by the detective that my vehicle had been in a collision, and the driver was arrested. But the good news was that it was recovered. My vehicle was located at: E&C Towing 72310 Quarry TRL STE#B 1000 PALMS CA 92276 The CHP must have called me 5 or 6 times over a span of 3 days to tell me the whereabouts of the vehicle. When I went to collect my vehicle, the same day it was recovered. The lady working at E&C in Thousand Palms, CA, told me that my vehicle wasn't drivable due to the collision involved in the Grand Theft Auto incident. I asked if I could see the vehicle and collect my belongings. She told me in a very rude tone, that I wasn't allowed to see my vehicle. Saying that I wasn't the registered owner. I told her that I have comprehensive insurance on the vehicle which listed me as the Registered owner of the vehicle. I even told her that there is the California Certificate of Title in the glove box which shows that I just purchased this vehicle about a month before. She mentioned that she did in fact see that CA Certificate of Title that listed me as the legal owner. I was under quarantine shortly after I purchased the vehicle and was unable to make it in person to the DMV. I tried to register the car and transfer the title but the DMV website wouldn't allow me to do so. I asked the lady at E&C Towing of Thousand Palms, CA, to please search my car, as my wallet, social security card, contacts for my eyes (and a 6 month supply) and my laptop, were also in the car. She said that she searched the car and the only thing that remained was the Title. My driver came with me, because I no longer had transportation at this point, she threw him out of the office because only one person was allowed at the time. This all happened 09/16/2020 the same day it was recovered by the CHP. She told me I needed to go to the DMV and complete the registration before they could release the car to me. I had a copy of my driver's license and my insurance card for the Lincoln Aviator that she asked for and made copies of. She told me that since I have insurance that I should have my insurance pay for it. I told her that I already contacted GEICO, and the claim process has been started. I left E&C Towing and went to the DMV the very next day and paid the fees for the Vehicle Registration and the Transfer of Title. I sent the paperwork that GEICO needed to have the car released and towed elsewhere for inspection. I tried calling E&C the day after and nobody answered and they have a voicemail that has not been setup yet. I didn't expect in the slightest that what was about to happen could be possible or legal. When GEICO called E&C to have my vehicle released, E&C told them that the owner came and got the vehicle earlier that day. GEICO called me and told me what they did and I explained how there must be a mistake. GEICO called to confirm, and E&C towing did in fact give the car away. E&C saw the California Certificate of Title. E&C saw that I had purchased the car from the same person they released the car to. The person that E&C released the car to, had signed a legally binding document that released the seller of all interest in the vehicle. They released the car to them knowing that I had full intentions on retrieving my vehicle. E&C never made an attempt to contact me before they released the car to the wrong person. When I called E&C, I asked them if they had checked to see if the document that the previous owner used to get the car, was still valid and up to date. E&C told me they don't have to verify anything, that's not what they do. They stated that she showed proof of ownership and that was all they needed. E&C knew that this person sold me the car as they personally handed me back the title. If they would have checked with the DMV, they would have seen that the car was now registered to me and the application of TITLE TRANSFER was submitted but pending a smog check. Something that I couldn't complete yet, because they had the vehicle in their custody and after the car accident, the vehicle wasn't drivable. They also knew that my insurance company was handling having the car released. E&C towing wouldn't give me any contact information for the person that now has my car. They wouldn't tell me where my car was towed to, what document she used to prove ownership, or the exact time she took the car. When I called the police, they also could not find any contact info for the previous owner. E&C released the car to the wrong person, after I paid the registration and title transfer fees under my name. If they would have confirmed that paperwork the previous owner used to get my car they would have seen that the car was no longer property of the previous owner's.
