I was really excited to try this place but was very disappointed. I got the sweet potato pie and It was not god. It tasted uncooked. The crust was completely separate from the filling and the crust was doughy and soft. The filling wasn't sweet and I couldn't really tel that it was sweet potato. Not all stressed out frazzled like many owners I've dealt with. Even without a commitment from me he took the time to walk me through the things I needed to consider, & he gave me realistic price quotes. At the store I met with an extremely knowledgeable and helpful young woman who wasn't pushy about what I should do. But once I let her know that I wanted to rely on her experience she helped me quickly, efficiently, & deliciously pick out the perfect custom combination, making sure that I understood the reason she was making particular choices. I have made many purchases from this bakery, and the only things that I had a problem with is that at was a cash only establishment but I rode by there today and saw a big Sign saying they now accept EBT and although I do not have EBT its nice to know that if I ever do get EBT and those who do currently have EBT now have that option. Recently ordered a cake from Ubereats. I was so happy they actually had full cakes available. I was able to have them write something on the cake as well which i loved. I ordered candles with my cake and that didn't arrive. I asked for a Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. The cake looked absolutely beautiful. I loved it. The cream cheese frosting was NOT good at all. Tasted like horrible butter cream or something. The cake was good but the layers are thin so there's no missing the nasty frosting. The cupcakes are definitely made with boxed cake mix. It lacks that mild density that you get with, from scratch batter. I could tell instantly when I bit into the red velvet cupcake, cause my wife has made box red velvet cake many times before. It's really a shame because they are decorated beautifully. The cannolis are the one saving grace but again it lacks that creamy ricotta flavor. It's almost as if they're filling them with "mild cheese" cool whip. No amount of convincing can tell me that that is not box mix. The vanilla cupcake however tastes very good although the frosting is not the best. They use the same frosting for the vanilla and red velvet cupcake as well because the red velvet lacks that cream cheese flavor in the frosting. read more

A close family friend also ordered from this bakery to celebrate the life of her deceased mother. They messed up her cake order as well and she had to run around last minute for a replacement.
