Do not use this company. Whirlpool scheduled a service appointment with E&S on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 1:41 PM EST for service to be performed on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. On the day of the appointment, E&S called and said they would not be sending a technician because they "didn't receive the service request until this morning." That statement was completely false -- the request was sent and confirmed the Friday before. If they were unable to keep the appointment, that would have been one thing. But being dishonest about when they received the request is unacceptable. I cannot recommend a company that does not provide accurate information to customers. We bought our Maytag washer about 8 years ago. I never had any issues with it until one day the water did not come in at all. We were referred to E&S by Maytag. The Serviceman Tech, Eddie came out and found what was needed. He came back days later to fully repair the washer with a new water part. Now, my washer is back to doing what it is supposed to do. Eddie was friendly and explained how things worked. I suggest that people remember how they run their washer, pushing buttons, settings, etc. I like it when techs know their products and the technology in them. read more

We purchased a Maytag washer in April 2021 that didn't work from the start. We keep scheduled a repair through Maytag which sent out this company. The technician that came said the washers are faulty from the factory and the new piece would take a couple weeks to come in and we'd get a call. The tech adjusted the machine so it works temporarily. It's been 3 months and this company never picks up when I call. I've scheduled three more repair appointments through Maytag and E&S canceled one and didn't show up for the others. So much for the one year warranty read more

Eddie was efficient, effective and knowledgeable and rates up there with the most effective. He took pride in his work and was very amenable to my questions providing appropriate answers. Horrible service. Eddie came out said basically nothing was wrong with washing machine. Attempted to wash after he left. Machine was still broken. Called said then possibly needed a part. Its been 2 months no part after they charged me fee for initial visit and $100 down payment to order part. DOES NOT ANSWER CALLS. DOES NOT RETURN MESSAGES. obtained refrigerator repair about 3 months ago. the tech randomly changed a circuit board, without any testing and without much improvement.refrigerator totally crashed loss of food and frozen stuff. called the store for 2 days and 10s of calls and left messages, but no response or resolution.called sears appliance, fixed the frig.problem had nothing to do with what the man from this company did. I strongly recommend, paying for professionals for these things as opposed to economy deals like this company claims . you end up paying twice than you have to at the end. read more

I have used E & S twice to fix a washing machine..both times the problem ended up being something minor that didn't even require parts, and all I had to pay was the service fee. I appreciated the fact that they were honest about the repair work needed, especially the second time when I was certain that the repair required a new water pump, and all it needed was some glue to seal the pipe. read more

I had to give at least a one star, as zero is not an option here. As someone who has worked in the service industries, I do expect decent service when I am dealing with businesses. I had to deal with E & S appliance repair as a result of an extended warranty plan that I have with Kitchenaid. They came out to my home on June 26th for the service call--issue could not be fixed as a part needed to be ordered. The technician gave me his business card and told me to expect a call in a few days with the status of part ordered and the scheduling of the next visit to replace part. No phone call was received in a week (granted it was now July 4th holiday) I left a few messages on their Voicemail and not one call was returned, I had to keep calling them, only to be told that "they were waiting on a list of parts" To make a long story short--a month went by with NO SERVICE and my warrantly plan told me they had to give this service provider 30 days to fix...after my 30 days of NO SERVICE, I called the warranty guys and requested another service provider to come out. The second service provider came 2 days later and fixed our issue within 10 minutes of arriving into my home (they actually carry parts in their trucks). Moral of the story--I would not recommend E&S Appliance Repair; because of my experience, which was not good at all. read more

We had E&S repairman come to our house five times in the last three months to repair our dishwasher...the repairman told us we needed a new "motherboard" type thing and he would get it ordered.. I had to call Whirlpool to get it approved because the dishwasher is still under warranty...the part came, we did not open it - the repairman came, took a look at the box and said it was the wrong part and another one had to be ordered...I did NOT hear from E&S again - even after leaving three phone messages on their answering machine - I think they have abandoned us! I called Whirlpool - they scheduled another firm to take care of us - thanks, Whirlpool! read more

I was impressed from my initial call. They worked around my schedule and found me an appointment to suit our needs. The technician was prompt and courteous. He repaired my refrigerator on the spot and came back the next day with the parts to repair my dishwasher. I will definitely use them again. read more
