This company serviced my well and radon removal system for more than 10 years. An inspection co. hired them to test my well. According to 2 experts, they did an incorrect test on my well and made false claims regarding its immediate viability (wrongly told a prospective buyer the well was dry). A real test by an expert showed the well is in great shape with 60+ years capacity. When confronted, this company's owner said he has 100,000 customers and he doesn't give a "sh!/" about my property. read more

The techs need additional training. We ended up with a leak in our system due to their error during a routine annual maintenance of the system. We had to hire a contractor to remove sheetrock and replace a beam due to the water damage. We gave them another chance and there was another leak due to how they installed the Reverse Osmosis System. They didn't charge me for the service but had the nerve to drop me as a customer because I expressed my unhappiness with their technicians. It was fine because I was not planning on using them ever again but they should have handled it differently. I would not refer them. Called at 11 AM on a Saturday morning. They had a service repair by two in the afternoon. The reps name was Eddie and he was absolutely amazing. He had the problem solved within minutes installed all the new parts . He was knowledgeable, polite, and we had water within an hour. I signed a contract in April 2020 to dig a new well as a condition of sale with buyers on a house we were selling. Obviously, Covid was a difficult time with lots of interrupted supply chain issues. I was very understanding as the job dragged on through May, June, and August. (We had been told a few weeks) Then our buyers pulled out over the lack of progress on the well. In August 2020, Garrity stopped responding and abandoned the job. I reached several times out but never heard from them for 6 months. In March 2021, I finally contacted them to ask them to remove all the well equipment and tubing from our property. At that point, I got some very weird late-night text messages saying I was sad and rude. I spoke to their office manager and they did finally remove tubing. I thought it was over. But then yesterday, they just sent me a bill for the entire cost of the job they never completed and then abandoned. Clearly, I need to get a lawyer involved. Very disappointed. read more

The technicians replaced my well pump and I was impressed by the fact that they were courteous and professional. In addition, they also pointed out that my pipes were old and suggested that I also replace those old pipes. Two months later, I noticed a gurgling sound and a spot of water bubbling in my front lawn. I called the number and the person answering the phone just explained to me over the phone how to reset the timer on my water softener and the gurgling spot on my lawn was just the discharge from my water softener cleaning itself - a process I would not normally notice but the timer was out of whack. In case this review is TL, I was pleased with both the service provided during the replacement of my well pump and even more pleased later when I had a quick question - on a Sunday afternoon(!) which was answered patiently by whoever answered my distress call on a Sunday! read more

NO-SHOW APPOINTMENT WITH COMPLETE INCONSIDERATION: I was looking for a company that could provide water treatment for my house. I called E Garrity and made an appointment for them to come to my house. They said the time would be from 1-3pm. So I re-arrange my whole work schedule and I wait until 3:15pm to call and ask if anyone is still coming so that I can finally stop waiting. I was put on hold and then their exact words were: "We seem to be running behind schedule due to the storm. Would you like to re-schedule?" Really!??? No courtesy phone call!? Not even an apology!?? IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT NEW CUSTOMERS!!?? Of coarse I did not re-schedule. A few minutes later they call me back and leave a voicemail asking me if they could come by later in the afternoon. They tried To charge my older parents with a Language barrier for replacing a pump that was working and did not need to be replaced. When I called Evan he was e rude , refused to give me a written estimate and ended up charging my parents 5x the amount he said it would cost for a service call.
