Run away! They are trying to operate on children when it IS NOT medically necessary. One of their dentists, who had her dental license 6 months (not a pediatric specialist) recommended 6 stainless steel crowns in my 4 year old's mouth under sedation. Similar crown treatment was pushed on two other parents sitting nearby. I went to a much more qualified dentist for a second opinion and my little guy didn't even have one cavity. They tried to make make money off my insurance at the expense of my baby's well being. GET A SECOND OPINION....one star does not capture this place, it's much much less. read more

Our daughter has been a patient since 2015. Our baby girl's smile was in jeopardy and had to have surgery. Dr Tiner put us at ease and explained in detail every step of the way. The surgery went beautifully and every appointment since then goes perfectly!! Dr Tiner truly cares about her patients 100% and we have no doubt our baby girl was in the best hands. Dr Tiner has remembered small details of our conversations over the years which demonstrates to us she really does listen and takes great interest in her patients well-being. Recommended my 4 year old get put under for dental surgery - 6 crowns and a root canal. Gave high pressure sales pitch and gave an estimate where fillings cost MORE than crowns. Never showed us the x-rays. Went for a second opinion - everything but one is surface fillings, maybe one crown, no need for a root canal, and certainly no need to put my 27 Lb daughter under. Will got 1/4 of what they quoted. Dentist showed us the x-rays - couldn't see how 6 crowns could be needed or why to put a child through UNNEEDED MAJOR DENTAL SURGERY. Seriously - money hungry, unethical, terrible people trying to make a sales quota. Should be ashamed. *update* Daughter needed no crowns, no root canals. Laughing gas and two forty five minutes visits and $800 saved. read more

Dr. Tiner is AWESOME! My son loves coming to this office. Staff is always so great about explaining everything to him and he loves the video games. Beware! They recommended my 6 year old son have 8 cavities filled in his baby teeth, using sedation. The procedure was to take 2 visits, and two separate times being sedated. I felt this was extreme because my son has good oral hygiene habits. I got 2 other opinions and neither dentist recommended any fillings. They each only found two small cavities that were just beginning and did not need filled. EP Dentistry 4 Kids was willing to put my 6 year old through an ordeal just to get the $600+ dollars out of pocket in addition to what our insurance would pay. Don't get me wrong, it's not about the money I would have paid. I would never want a child to go through unnecessary medical procedures just to get some extra cash for this hyped up dentist office. Save your kids stress and find an honest dentist, then take your kids to Chuckie Cheese afterwards. No need to combine the two. read more

Dr. Tiner is the best! I have been to other dentists in town but nothing even comes close to EP Dentistry. The entire staff is friendly and my kids actually WANT to go to the dentist. It is also nice that they are very upfront with reasonable pricing and working with your insurance. I actually got a refund from them once! So fortunate to have such a good place for our children to receive top-notch care here in El Paso. read more

Have been coming to this office for 2 yrs. The staff is great and friendly. However, the wait time is too long. It wasn't like that when we started coming here and I wasn't the only parent frustrated with their wait today. It's very difficult to keep children waiting over an hour to be seen even with the entertainment they provide. read more

Used to love this place but with each visit I like it less and less. The doctors are kind and knowledgeable but the staff that answer the phones and work the desk are rude, unapologetic and inefficient. I would no longer recommend them. read more

Avoid those gimmicky kids dentist offices. I took my oldest to EP dentistry for kids west three years ago. They claimed she needed six crowns and a baby root canal-at three years old. I couldn't believe it! I took her to get a second opinion at a small office and she only needed one crown, one filling and absolutely NO root canal! They try to get as much money out of you as they can by shaming you and making you fearful for your child's health. read more

What a horrible place. I called because they run an ad about braces. When I called them I told them exactly what I wanted, an evaluation for braces for my daughter. When we showed up they took my insurance information and took my daughter to the back. When she came out she had been given X-rays and a cleaning. I was told she needed some sealers. When I asked for the results of the evaluation for braces I was told they didn't so that it was just a routine check up and that they would refer her to their orthodontist. First of all, no one ever told me that's what they were actually going to do with my daughter. Secondly, aren't self referrals illegal? This is a scam. Not only will I not be back...please stop telling me she via text and email has an appointment...I plan on telling every parent I know exactly what happened here. I am also filing a complaint with the Texas Dental Board. Awful place, awful people. read more
