I waited. And I waited some more. I did some serious waiting five feet away in a red sweater. No acknowledgment. No letting me know it might be a while. But that would've likely stopped the upselling I started to see. So I turned me and my bike around and left. It's hard for me to be on my feet that long. That's why I bike. Dood has a right to be into his subject matter. Usually shops want you to feel comfortable and respected as somewhat of a priority, even if you aren't being directly pitched at the moment... it just was not a good vibe. I was afraid that my bike would need to be recycled. He assured me it was worth saving. Since not really riding for a few years, it was in bad shape. He said it was one of the American made trek bikes. Got an accurate estimate and took about 5 days to replace the broken part, get new tires, and a tune-up. Like having a brand new bike.

I was expecting more than just a worn rear tire replacement would be needed. They assured me it only needed to be cleaned, adjusted, trued, etc. I paid $130 for their tuneup, cleaning and tire replacement. I had a small issue with the brake pads rubbing a little but they fixed it right away. Great biz!
