I can't stress this enough. Elsa Is a true Gem! She knows exactly what she's doing, is such a nice person and does an amazing job! I have been growing my eyebrows out for months. I have been getting facials with ELSA for about 11 years on and off . This is because I've moved aboard , back to the US , out to the East Coast and now back to Ventura County . I always come back . Elsa does a great job and takes her time extracting all those ugly blackheads . This is something other estheticians do not do. Elsa is a chatter and I love that . She's very high energy and remembers details you told her years ago ... so be careful . Ha! You skin may look scabby for a few days after a PCA, mine did . Unfortunately I went here for a Brazilian wax. The last few months of my life have been very daunting and depressing and I was finally doing some self care, trying to make myself feel better. I was grateful Elsa was willing to see me in such short notice but sadly I now regret seeing her. I initially left happy, but that night I noticed a huge strip was missed so I went back the next morning and she allowed me to come back and get it fixed however she "fixed" it and then again I still feel hair. I'm angry because when I was there she said more than three times "ok hun your done" but I found more hair. I'm not a Sasquatch either, I swear I felt like that was her first time waxing. Based on her other reviews I'm shocked I got such a poorly done Brazilian. My landing strip was not straight, I broke out in actual small pimples and still red over 48 hours later AND still have hair I have to shave. Wasted money going here. Mia literally saved my eyelashes! I was going to a lady that was just throwing lash extensions on me and was actually damaging my lashes. I was constantly itching and scratching at my eyes! When I went to Mia she explained that if I had kept going to the previous lady I would've had no eyelashes!! Mia is so gentle, she carefully removed as many old lashes as she could and put new ones on me. She takes her time creating fans and isolating the lashes. Not to mention she is so nice, which makes laying there for an hour and a half not so bad! She uses the brand Borboleta, which is one of the best brands out there. Also she offers a lash bath which comes with a cute little brush! I always worry about using cleansing products on my lashes, so it's really convenient that she offers her own lash-safe product. Ok ladies (and gents), THIS IS HONESTLY THE PLACE TO GO! Hands. Down. Long story short, I was a virgin to Brazilians not too long ago so I decided to look into it all and decided to go with sugaring since almost every review was positive and said it hurt less and was better than traditional wax etc. (definitely not the case haha) When I was going through with my appointment it was honestly one of the most excruciating things I've ever experienced, left with only a bikini because I couldn't take it anymore. Thinking it was just me. I dealt. However, I needed to get my upper lip done so I went in to see Elsa, and I will never regret walking through her doors. Talked to her about my experience with sugaring and we decided to give her way a try. I'll tell you now. I WILL NOT BE GOING ANYWHERE ELSE!
