Milan was very professional, courteous, and helpful getting me set up with a 5x5. Very nice person. To make your application and sign up process go a little smoother, check with your insurance company before you show up to see if they cover your personal and or business property that will be in your storage unit. Public Storage requires that you have insurance for your stored property. There is a list of questions you may want to ask your insurance company about your coverage so that you can make an educated decision about whether your coverage will be as good as the coverage (Orange Door Storage Insurance Program) that is offered at this facility. Here's the list... https://www.orangedoorstorageinsurance.com/links-and-faqs Orange Door Insurance rates are $11 per month for $3000, $13 for $4000, and $15 for $5000 coverage. To make your sign up process go quicker, you can select the Orange Door policy when you sign up. If you decide that your insurance is as good, you can cancel the Orange Door policy pretty easily. You'll also need a specific lock that fits the door. They sell two types of locks (disk or cylinder) depending on which type of door your unit has. I needed a cylinder lock and they sell them for $20 at the facility. I saw some used Public Storage locks on eBay for $5 to $10 without shipping so you might save a few bucks if you have the foresight to order one ahead of time. If you're short on time, you can just buy one from Public Storage. You'll know it's what you need and it fits! Here's some tips from Public Storage to make moving you stuff into storage go smoothly... https://www.publicstorage.com/blog/public-storage/5-ways-to-prep-for-your-move-to-a-public-storage-unit

Even…read moreafter just a month we noticed droppings everywhere and some of our things being bit through. It is ridiculous. It's such a bummer that we had to get rid of so much furniture and other items because they were pooped/peed on or chewed through. You're basically paying for your stuff to get trashed. NOT worth it!! If you absolutely need to go with this place, make sure to secure your things very well (no open boxes, bags, or furniture). This picture is after we moved all of our stuff out, after just 3 months look how much rat poop there is, not including the ones on our stuff. It's disgusting.

Nothing they can do it's the elements around causing the issue, so you should cover everything. 2. It's the black top Asphalt not rodent shit!.. 3. Im just just letting you know this is how it is.. "so you want to move out?.." 4. You can get weather seal and WD-40 if you want to if it helps you... So Yeah WoW!! A shit place I wouldn't store trash not alone your belonging. like that why you get a storage to protect your belongings not to pay to have them slowly be destroyed due to lack of maintenance from a lazy Staff just watching reruns of a lame Lifetime show... I would have picked 0 stars but it's not a option!...
