This place was unexpectedly cute inside! It is a building in the front of a parking lot for a strip mall but the decor inside really helps with the first impression. The menu is quite extensive and I found myself not knowing what to get! The green tea was delicious and bottomless. The miso soup came out first and was very hot but delicious. The seaweed Salad had a good flavor and delicious crunch with some cucumbers hidden underneath. Next I got the playboy roll and it came out on fire which is always fun! I was able to try the Jenny Roll, which was rich with soy paper and cream cheese but lacked character (I was told I usually comes with avocado as well), the Volcano Roll which had too much sauce in my opinion but was otherwise good as well as the Dragon Roll which had delicious Unagi on top but also had way too much sauce for my taste. The fried rice was light and delicious and I recommend it! The servers were extremely fast and very friendly. We were checked on frequently but not in an overwhelming way. Our cups were never empty and we had everything we needed. They also pre bussed the table and watched for when we were done to see if we needed anything else before bringing the check. It was a fast lunch before work, which is exactly what we came for. I would definitely come back but may as for them to either go easy on the sauce or have it on the side.

E Sushi Japanese restaurant in Columbus is tucked away in a building that for years had been a Dairy Queen. We are always excited about the variety of sushi rolls and bowls available here. The selection of appetizers are also exceptionally large. We started with Miso soup which was hot and traditionally flavorful. The rolls were so large, we were happy we only ordered two. It's hard to chose, but we decided on the VOLCANO and FIRECRACKER rolls. The Volcano roll is traditional California roll topped with a large portion of crab and shrimp meat on top. If you love crab, this roll is for you. The Firecraker is a roll shrimp tempura, cream cheese, spicy crab crunch and avocado topped with eel sauce. The service was quick and friendly. By the size of the crowd in the mid afternoon hour, I would say their quality has a good reputation.

We were in the mood for sushi so thought we'd check this place out while visiting in Columbus. Most of the reviews were very positive but when we drove up the outside didn't look too impressive. I remember this building used to be a Dairy Queen many years ago. Well we got seated right away and the service was friendly and accommodating. Didn't need a reservation even though it was Saturday evening and the traffic was steady. We had the gyoza dumplings as an appetizer and they were flavorful and amazing. We ordered 4 sushi rolls to be shared by three people and it was just the right amount. I highly recommend the dynamite roll, the firecracker roll, the sexy girl, and the shaggy dog roll. All were very good and the display was a work of art. Prices were moderate and they also offered beer or wine to drink. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. They also serve ramen bowls that looked yummy.

Really delicious sushi and a great atmosphere! First we got tea and the wasabi gyoza- one of my favorite things! It came with a nice tangy sauce we saved to eat with the sushi as well. We also got the regular special sushi dinner and it had a lot of sashimi as well as California roll. The roll was great though I wasn't expecting the sashimi, I would have chosen another roll instead. We also got the jenny roll and it was really good, smoky and had a decent amount of cream cheese inside and little crisps and sauces on the top. We finished with the red bean ice cream and it was more vanilla-y but also had some red bean pieces and some whipped cream and sprinkles too, so very fitting for a birthday. It was a little busy later on a Friday but we only waited around 10 minutes or so.Would definitely come again to this Columbus gem!

I've been here many times. I thought I reviewed it before but for some reason I only see some old picture I don't see the review. Anyways I should have sooner. This place is awesome!! There isn't even much to say because all the things you'd expect for 5 stars you'll find it here. The food. Delicious. The service. Fantastic. Speed of food. Wonderful. Bar options. Perfecto. It's all great I love it and will be back again of course. Thanks for being great E Sushi!

Best. Ramen. Ever…read more And a charming location and a wonderful staff. Ordered too much food and ate it ALL because it was all perfect The Gyoza were out first - perfectly steamed then lightly grilled. Then the main event - my Tonkotsu Ramen with extra pork. The key to good ramen is a balance of flavors in the broth and the noodle texture. Nailed both - and not too salty. I picked it up and drank the last leftover bits. The curry rice was my "dessert". Perfect again! Service was pleasant and prompt. Can't wait to come back.
