First off. The menu that comes up online is incorrect. If you look at the address on it in bottom right corner it's in another state. I have posted pictures of the actual menu from the restaurant that is used for ordering. The prices have gone up from the web site menu. And if you make a change of fried rice on an item other than white rice there is a $2.00 additional charge. I placed my order at counter for To Go on a Sunday night at 6:03pm it was ready at 6:17 pm. All made fresh and hot. Wife and I dug in and forgot to take pictures of the food. Wonton Egg Drop soup with noodles crisps was very good. Small size included 3 wontons in the Pint size. Tried the Young Chow Fried Rice. Lots of meats and veggies, Shrimp Egg rolls like them better than Spring roll. Crab Rangoon for appetizers then I had the Four Seasons and Wife had Hunan Beef. Containers stuffed and we have leftovers. Been a while since we ordered Chinese takeout. I don't think we have ever been disappointed here. Until the next time. Enjoy! read more

So food was good. But...it didn't look it, if that even makes sense. I customized my meal, General Tso chicken with pork chow mein noodles. In the end I should have gone with my gut and we t elsewhere. Customer Service was excellent, no complaint there. I should have ordered something else. read more

It is amazing how fast an excellent restaurant can fall in such a short period of time. Over the past seven years we've enjoyed both take out and dining in at the Great Wall. Unfortunately, that ended rather abruply a few months ago. They must have a new chef or management as the quality of the food has dropped significantly. My favorite dish is Egg Foo Yong. I used to go out of my way to get it at the Great Wall. They cancelled it and no longer offer it on their menu. Next, we had several guests yesterday evening and ordered the PuPu platter -- another one of our favorites. Again, cancelled. They no longer offer it. I always enjoyed their Hot and Sour soup so we ordered it again last night. The container was noticeably smaller than it used to be and there were very few mushrooms and other vegetables in it like before. It was obvious they are cutting corners. We used to like the fried wontons that came with the meal. What they included in our take out order looked like they came out of a box -- small and not very appetizing. It pains me to see a great Chinese restaurant standout go down so rapidly. There are several other Chinese restaurants in our area that we can go to and will do from now on. I am downgrading my review from a previous five star to a two star review. Very sad. I hope they wake up to the comments from their once loyal customer base. read more

Really Yummy~ highly recommend! Been going here for years, but finally decided to write review bc they are clearly not getting reviews from happy customers, like myself. Tried other Chinese places & don't understand why they have higher reviews based on my experience with the go-to meals I get at all Chinese restaurants for fair comparison: General Tso's chicken/Hunan chicken/white rice/vegetable egg roll/vegetable soup. I love Great Wall! Why, oh, why are so many Asian places named Great Wall? Not only is it cliche', it's also inaccurate. I digress early on in this review... Their food is good, so yummy! I love the fact that it is family owned and operated and the fact that you see the family preparing and eating meals together in the restaurant. I also like the focus on education they have for their kids. You can often see the kids studying in the restaurant. But, I digress again... The food - it's yummy! I especially like their General Tso's and Sesame chicken. The broccoli - oh my goodness the broccoli... If you have't figured it out, this is my favorite Asian restaurant - I mean from any state in the country. It is that good. An added bonus, it is next to so many shops, I can go in and order and then just come back and pick my items up. I never eat in, but I have visited their bathroom (eh) and tried their soda (don't do it), so I try to focus on the food that I take out becuse that is what really matters to me. A nice little Chinese restaurant to which you'll get what you pay for. Highest combos cost just about $10. If you eat in they'll bring your food to you like most of them will. I have had prior to this review their dumplings & rice, which was delightful. Unlike some I've been to they have fountain drinks. This trip I had their Mongolian beef, as the picture will be attached. If your traveling through franklin I'd recommend stopping by the only Chinese food in franklin. I would recommend anyone who supports defying conformity to eat here purely for the authentic food & employees. read more

This is primarily a take-out place with dine in seating available. Family run and very nice. The food was very good. They are very generous with the shrimp in the lo neon and I was surprised with the amount of pork in the double cooked pork. The fried dumplings were very good and the house sauce was also very good. Very good values for the pricing. read more

I was charged 2 times for my food. when I called and told them the lady said that didn't even though it was on my account that they did. I asked if the changes still come out are they going to refund me the my money and she said we don't do that. So I going to be charged 2 times the amount for my food and she again said no refunds. I have been going here for years and because of this I will not return. How do you tell people that have been over charged that you will not refund the over charged amount. read more

This is the best Chinese I have ever had. P.F. Chang's may be a nicer restaurant but the food is better here! I have been eating here for about 10 years and the food is always good and fresh. Within the past 2-3 years we have noticed many changes and declines in quality and value including not filling to-go orders up, changes in rice/cooking style, eggrolls now resemble that of a microwave variety texture (soggy inside, crisp outside since fried). On top of the change, the price has continued to soar. Several year ago could get dinner for $13 for 2 people, now it's 20+ for these lesser quality items. This is our go to Chinese restaurant in Franklin. We have been ordering from here for years. Overall my experience has been positive. The best and most promising things to order are: egg roll, vegetable fried rice, and pork fried rice. Can't go wrong with any of those three. Every time they make it perfect and it has a really classic Chinese food taste that you will love. I have some drawbacks though, and I'm posting them here because I would love the owners to see this and possibly make a change. For some reason, the chicken in these two dishes: general Tso's chicken, and lemon chicken are completely different. General Tso's is always chewy and gamey. The quality of meat is not very good. The lemon chicken on the other hand is perfect, and every piece is fried to perfection and completely white meat and delicious. Why use two different kinds of chicken for these dishes? Ultimately they are the same dish but with different sauce added to the chicken. Throw out that chicken used for the general Tso's and stick to the chicken used for the other dish. It's a little upsetting because I love general Tso's chicken when it's made properly and I would order it every time if it was made with a better quality meat here. Oh well, I guess I'll just stick to the lemon chicken. Still a great dish. Everything else on the menu is pretty well made. I've tasted other bites of dishes my family has ordered over the years and all seem pretty good. The chicken fried rice is not the best, which is why I say go with pork or vegetable fried rice. Also, if you want vegetables in your pork fried rice you can tell them "add vegetable" and they will do it. This gives it a lot more flavor and improves it in my opinion so I do it every time. read more

This is the second time we've gotten Chinese food from here. The first time I got the chicken and broccoli. The flavor was ok, but the chicken was extremely slimy. I've ate at many Chinese restaurants and have never had chicken like this. It was more like a booger. I decided to give them a second chance and I ordered the Chicken with curry sauce, and once again, slimy chicken. Another thing to note is it was more like vegetables and curry sauce. 90% of it was vegetables with a hint of booger chicken. Extremely unsatisfied. Will not be eating here again. read more

Ordered a number of items to try for the family dinner and was very disappointed. The fried food appetizers were dripping oil and the soup was luke warm and we did not make it to the main course. Too disgusting already! I could not rate it less than one star. It was like they were busy and food quality did not matter, just serve it and move on. read more
