E Tang is one of our family's absolute favorite restaurants, and we eat here regularly. We've tried so many items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The spicy chicken is my personal favorite, while my kids can't get enough of the pan-fried dumplings and soup dumplings. The lo mein is always delicious, and the Mongolian beef is outstanding. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. It's one of those places where everything we've ordered has been great, which is why we keep coming back. Tables can be a bit tight for a couple as you'll only get a 2 top (they get busy and need to save the larger tables for bigger parties). We were able to order before the 10 top next to us, so our food came out super fast! (Yay!!) Could use two bathrooms though, the one they have is large but when they are packed it can be quite a wait. Lots of metered street parking on Broughton and nearby streets. We'll be back again!

I will never forget that Ravioli dish because it has kept me from this restaurant since. I've seen many restaurants Owners depart completely away from their restaurants after they grow lucrative & efficient enough to operate without their presence. But, every single time they do that, SOOOO MANY THINGS fall under the same satisfactory umbrella/standards as they once did. How can the person who owns almost everyyyy single restaurant in Savannah be truly present at any of them? And having so many at once I'm sure you would see lots of food waste and try to prevent that to save dimes & pennies, thinking the reg tourist or human won't notice....but, we do. It's honestly gross to me. On the west coast cooking is so competitive. Younger generations are literally out there traveling & battling to be the best. Aside from a few really good restaurants-(Common Thread for most consistent & overall best ever & The Grey for their kitchen and cooks)- in my eyes, most everything else is tourist food and not truly cared about. Sorry Savannah but I'm only saying this because I know there could be wayyy more effort put into your every day work. And if you're going to go out and buy all of the property and own almost ever other restaurant here-wouldn't you want it to actually be GOOD for each customer instead of just GOOD for the marketing photos?

There were about six shrimp that where heavily battered and way over cooked that had no flavor sitting on top of a bed of fried rice, what the Hell ? All other chinese locations, and I'm talking about dozens at least, have ten to twelve boiled shrimp mixed with various vegetables in a wonderful sweet and sour sauce poured over a bed of pork fried rice, much like sweet and sour beef, or pork, very delicious, but not here. Madarin Wok's was so bad I ended peeling the hard brown coating off the shrimp, and eating them and the fried rice only. I will never visit this place again. The way I see it, they owe me a refund of $13 for that combo meal since the egg roll was way overcooked also, and very chewy and tasteless, and $8 for the lousy crabmeat rangoon. As far as the Crabmeat Rangoon goes, it was the worst & strangest, I have ever had. It did not resemble any I had been served at any of the other dozens of chinese resturaunts I have frequented. They were totally undercooked and way over filled with cream cheese that was extremely tasteless. A total rip-off for $8. I spent a total of $39 for two of us to eat and it sucked badly. Never again ! There are too many other chinese places in the Savannah that are excellent. Unfortunately, at the time I was on Skidaway Island, and this place was very conveniently located, so I went there. I am angry that they advertise and sell dishes that they have no idea how to prepare and cheat customers like me out of our money.
