On the day of the move, Jamal and Wallace arrived on time with the truck and did an awesome job with the move. These guys can do some serious lifting and quickly moved a lot of heavy boxes and showed us some neat tricks (See attached pics). They also found a clever way by using the lift of the truck across the first floor balcony to move the heavy boxes. Ingenious!! It was a really hot day and there was a lot of stuff but the guys still managed to finish the job in two hours and made the move a lot of fun. They were clever and innovative in coming up with ways to make the move more efficient and faster. This was by far the smoothest and stress-free move I have had in my life. Walter was my main point of contact, and he was very accommodating --- started earlier than normal to help us (my husband just had surgery on his leg and couldn't really participate in a move). Add to the short notice the fact that we had a storage unit to empty, a mothers house to go to and try to fit everything into a smaller apartment in west broad village where they had to fight for curb space. Add to that it was pouring down rain and cold. Walter & Moe showed up on time, very chipper with great attitudes. They decided to split the move and unload the storage unit then go to the mothers house (which was a nightmare in and of itself) LOL. They moved everything with great care, nothing got wet, and we were very satisfied & pleased. Then we realized communication had failed and the 55" TV from the mothers house had not been moved. Walter went out of his way on a Sunday (the next day) to go back and deliver our TV on his own time. This company is hands down the best movers I have ever hired (and I'm 45). They were also on the more economical end truth be told. GREAT value, AWESOME employees, FANTASTIC experience.

Do not store any boxes put everything in plastic bins. The unit will leak and your stuff will get wet. Seal everything tight avoid outdoor friends (bugs) making a home in your stuff. Now....If you close out write a letter and send it certified mail to ensure they get it. I called beginning of the month for Jan 2022 to inform them of my intentions to vacant the unit. The lady I spoke with advised that was fine and if I had a credit on my account (which I did for military) it will be refunded by check and mailed within 15 days. Jan 28th I called again to advise it will be all cleaned and swept out per policy at the end of the month. The lady I spoke with confirmed my address to mail the check to and stated ok. Jan 31st I called to confirm she has my unit closed out and done. Welp, Feb 1st I was charged for the unit. Feb 5th my account was closed. Feb 28th I got a refund check for $54.53 (well my credit was on the account for $25.00 already and the monthly fee was $88.00). This math isn't mathing right....... Here we are March 25, finally get a hold of someone and she asked who did you talk to....mmm I don't know person sound older though. And I really didn't think I need to check and balance with a storage facility, but Ok. So she explains my refund is minus the 15days of not given written notice. Unit is 88.00 per month (2.93 per day) 2.93 x 15 days= $44.00 88.00 - 44.00 = $44.00 refund I ALREADY HAD A $25.00 CREDIT ON MY ACCOUNT FOR WHEN I OPENED THE UNIT WITH THEM.. $54.53 - $44.00 = $10.53 $25.00 - $10.53= $14.47 REFUND MISSING!! Moral of the story they will take your money!

Anyway, I rented a unit here just over a year ago to facilitate a move. The facility was convenient for me and not over priced. Other positives: - Facility is clean and in decent shape. - Office hours 7 days a week. There are a few minor negatives, but nothing serious: - They do not send you a bill unless you miss a payment - and then they add a late fee. - As of November 2017, they are increasing rates by about 30%, but they were maybe a little low before. I plan to be out before the increase takes effect. The staff is reasonably friendly and helpful, but not overly personable. All in all, I've seen far worse storage places and much more expensive ones too. I'm happy with the deal I got.

Our move was slightly unusual because we had a starting point and ending point and two stops in between. At each stop we were dropping off some items and picking up additional items. I loved that we had a straight hourly rate. Shaheem and his co-worker (I unfortunately can't remember his name) were both fantastic. They used incredible care in wrapping everything and making sure nothing was damaged. Everything that needed to be taken apart was then put together perfectly. We couldn't have been happier with the move and all of the interaction we had with the staff. A bonus was one of the movers had an amazing voice and we were blessed to hear him sing occasionally. They've picked up new furniture from stores and brought it home, rearranged furniture upstairs to down. They put together my sons' bunkbed and moved it around the room a couple of times. Completely trustworthy and professional, they settled a parent into assisted living and moved another one up from Florida. It's a local company who gives back to the community. And the office manager is a gem who alone should earn them another star.

E-Z Box's prices beat the other competitors and their customer service is great. E-Z Box's team was easy to get in touch with, were very accommodating to my schedule, and had a box out to my house in no time. Their delivery driver made sure that he placed the box where I wanted it, and took great care to ensure that our paved driveway was not damaged while lowering the box to the ground. I would definitely recommend E-Z Box to anyone that is looking for portable storage at your home, or a self storage unit away from home.
