How my furry friend feels every time we tell him he's going to the groomers. He's always so happy to come and leaves refreshed.

We initially found this hidden gem when we first moved to this city, a few years ago (when it had a different owner but same groomer). We have so far always been happy with the service, hospitality, communication and care not only from what our doggie has experienced but us as owners. Alma is always able to accommodate her schedule for our somewhat last minute appointments and does a great detailed job. I highly recommend this groomer, she has a lot of experience and you can clearly tell that she truly and genuinely cares about our furry friends. She also has cleaned up the business and store front a lot. Highly recommend!

    Freshly groomed!

This was our first time at Mimi Tiny Paws. They did such a great job on my dog! His haircut was perfect! I highly recommend taking your pet.

I got a winter cut and the full grooming package for my shih tzu. They did great work, and it's also reasonably priced. We will be back. Thanks Mimi's

This time around was very disappointing. I had asked her for a slight trim and to leave the head alone but as you can see from the pictures she left my dog's head bald. The dog had a few knots but instead of deciding for me I would have appreciated a call to ask if I wanted him shaved. I know she acknowledged my request because she responded with "Oh you want him poofy!" I went back for a refund and instead of having a regretful attitude all I got was sarcasm. She did give me my money back but it was more like here, have your money and go. Dismissing me. This also isn't the first time that she has messed up my dog. The last time I let it pass because it happens. Mistakes happen. But when you acknowledge my request and then continue to mess it up and to add to it have a sarcastic tone is where I draw the line. I will not be coming back to this place. If I could give zero stars I would.

I love Mimi. She is so personal so nice so sweet gentle with my dogs patient and can't beat her prices.

I recently moved to Duarte and needed a dog groomer asap! i found this place while driving down huntington drive and gave them a call and they took me in the same day! Alma always does a great job for my lexi! Lexi is a very anxious dog and every time i pick her up she's always so happy and in such a great mood! I love this place and i 100% recommend them! Alma is such a sweet heart and treats a my baby with so much love and respect

Came here to get my doggie groomed and she did an amazing job, it was his first time and she was very gentle and patient with him. He looked and smelled brand new after his little spa day, would highly recommend bringing your dogs here. Thank you again!!

DON'T COME HERE. Took our dogs here for the first time. paid to get the matted little area of hair out behind her ear and a flee bath. They ended up cutting my dog behind her ear which cause it to scab really bad. The issue could have easily been fixed with scissors which was done in the past by different groomers but we decided to give this place a chance. Then when she came home a few days past and we still find flees on her. What's the point of paying $50 for a flee cleaning and an easy hair trim if the results is my dog got hurt and she still has flees?!? Don't even waste your time if you're in the area go to E Z dog down the street.

I can't imagine how busy they must be, so I can excuse the some dust here and there. Surprisingly though, with the amount of animals that they have there, especially BIRDS, it did NOT smell, so big kudos for that. Yes, they have reptiles here, lots of beardies, crested geckos of all sizes, morphs, with and without tails, a frilled lizard, rock iguanas, various snakes, and honestly THE MOST chameleons, especially large ones that I HAVE EVER SEEN even at a reptile shop, so if you're looking for chameleons this might actually be the place. There's a lot of cohabitation going on, but honestly, aside from the East Bay Vivarium, due to lack of space and funding, this is an unfortunate aspect that can't be avoided... They also have lots of birds including parrots of all sizes, cockatiels, finches, and even a chicken. They're kept in a very tall, big display coop which is pretty cool. There aren't really any bird shops in the area (the most exotic you'll get are aquarium shops and SOME reptile ones), so if you have feathered friends, this is the place to go. I LOVE that they have prepackaged feed specifically for different species. Made by the business owners for sure and they also have a good amount of feeders too. For mammals they have some hamsters, bunnies, and guinea pigs. For inverts, they have tarantulas and scorpions. There's a good variety of pet supplies here too (some dog and cat items too) that I don't see at other places, so that's neat too.

You wanna see some dragons?…read more You GOTTA got to the Reptile Lounge. If their logo didn't make it obvious, the amount of sailfin dragons here is INSANE. Easily the most I have seen in one place and the MOST different species as well. Even zoos don't have this many, let alone with this much diversity. I want to even venture and say this might be the most you can see outside of Asia (don't quote me though). Aside from that, they have a good variety of reptiles on display (NFS - not for sale, either shop reptiles or until they become more established) and for sale, as well as some amphibians (I saw some Pacman frogs and even Budgett's frogs - look at videos of these guys screaming, it's so cute). Lots of supplies too including bioactive builds, kits, lights, supplements, food, dishes, climbs and hides, live plants, and much more. I LOVE that the feeder fridge is self serve so you can select your cup of worms. AND I feel like this is an exotics keeper thing that will freak out normies, but it's in the same fridge as the cans of soda. I got a good chuckle out of this. Love the emerald tree skinks that I saw here, super cute and lively. Their basilisk lizard looks so cool too. Like a mini dinosaur and not many shops or zoos have these guys too. However, if you're in the market for more beginner or common pet reptiles, they have those too, some beardies, leopard and crested geckos too. Owner and workers were very friendly, answered my questions, and gave me some really cool stickers of their logo as well. Definitely will come back for feeders and maybe one day meet the shop cats and maybe hold one of their sailfin dragons too!

Dalton helped me out and was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, walking me through everything I needed to know to dip my toes back into the exotic pet world. He had an awesome selection from scorpions and tarantulas to frogs, lizards, and more. I jotted down a list of potential future pets and plan to do some research before I commit, but I'm already looking forward to coming back. Also, shoutout to the resident cats who are so cute and made the visit even better. Whether you're a first-time reptile parent or a seasoned herper, I highly recommend this place!

Agustin's shop is clean, whimsically decorated with a really cool fish and turtle pond in front and the reptiles and birds are very well taken care of. Agustin helped me out a couple of years ago when I had to move my Mom out of her home and into an Assisted Living Facility and had to re-home her two large birds. Agustin found a buyer for her Moluccan Cockatoo at a fair price and a home for her other bird. I continue to frequent Agustin's for a feeder rat for my daughter's snake. I have noticed prices have gone up considerably over the years but what hasn't. I do appreciate their frequent feeder mouse/rat card and that they use double paper bags for the critters because they do like to chew free. They always have a great display of reptiles and birds I like to walk through, too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your reptile and bird needs.
