"I picked up a rental car on Sunday 9/14/25 for an emergency situation ( sister had a stroke passed on Tuesday 9/16). Upon pickup car smelled very very strongly of weed, told lady she made a note in file she said and we left windows down, as no other cars available. We get almost 2 hr away and child in back seat put cup holder down only to find blunts and rolled blunts that contained weed.. Immediately called spoke to Brian of issue, disposed of items.thought car would air out. Left hospital around 11 pm, come Monday car still smelled really strong and I popped truck as we had placed everything in backseat when we left. Under the thing that covers the spare tire was a yellow DG bag that contained a good bit of weed. I immediately called Brian again and informed him. As it was a rental car there was nothing law enforcement could do.. I paid for a car that had illegal drugs in it and when returned Frankie just brushed it off, I asked do the cars not get cleaned or checked his response was if they have time. If I was pulled over I could have been arrested and when asked how the problem would be fixed a 15% was offered on next rental, Why would I rent again when the manager could not speak with respect or handle the issue. I would like to someone to follow up and see what we can come up with as it's unacceptable knowing I had my babies around that" Have sent multiple emails,calls, no one every reaches back out to try and handle the situation read more

This was the worst rental experience I've ever had. We picked up the car near evening. After driving all the way to our resort, we open the doors to get our luggage and see a roach run into the seams of the car lining. Then we notice the line of ants marching across the dashboard and window (they were black, I suppose to match the interior). We tried repeatedly to call customer service for this company, but could never get through. Being an 1 1/2 hours away from the pickup location we couldn't just drive back. Later it got much worse, the car was infested with roaches. They would run across the seats and the windshield as I was driving!!! When we returned the car, we treated the staff respectfully, but explained the issues. The staff couldn't care less. One laughed and said, "I'm quitting this job in 2 weeks." I asked for the manager, but we were told they weren't there. We could not have their number, they would contact us. We were also told if we tried to call customer service we would just be transferred to customer service outside the country. Just wow! We still have not been contacted by management. I have video of the roaches running in the car to prove it to them. I would not have posted this review if we had received some kind of assistance or concern. read more

Got a good flight and car rental from Priceline. When we got to Jacksonville FL by the airport to pick up the rental at EZ rental they told us they didn't have a car big enough for us. We paid and rented a car with 7 seats. How can you rent out cars that you do not have. Had no choice but pay $1800 for 4 days from Hertz cause it so last minute and nothing else available. Do yourself a favor and do not use EZ Rental. They are unreliable and not worth taking the chance. Still trying to get out our money back which was only a few hundred dollars but had to shell out $1800 to save the vacation which we can't get back. All these travel companies (Priceline, Orbit, ect.) should stop working with EZ rental cause it gives them a bad name also. read more

We booked a last minute vacation with 8 of us! Found Ez rent a car looking for a van. I have to say we were worried due to the fact they were by far cheaper than most. But our experience was awesome. Morgan delivered. She even upgraded us at no charge and was very nice. Definitely will use them again! read more

They failed to explain all the charges, the agent Franky spent his time showing me pictures of himself on his cell phone. Now I understand the purpose which was to rob me . I kept the car an extra day and they charged me an exorbitant amount (more than double the rate secured for reservation dates) outright robbery! They had a complete lack of customer service and played the blame game (they claimed they couldn't do anything for me because I booked online so I had to ask the "online people" , so I called the 800-number and they said they couldn't do anything for me, I had to talk to the people at the counter!?&#) No one is going to help you with this company. A family member I was traveling with leased a car from this establishment, not being conected to the airport I was a little apprehensive. The establishment certainly isn't sexy, Let's just be honest it looks a little run down but the staff was very friendly, they did charge a $200 security deposit. We were turned the car 6 days later, Check-out could not have been faster, the shuttle got us right to the airport. No extra charges and security deposit returned. I found out a couple hours later I left my perscription glasses in the SUV. They tracked my glasses down and FedEx them to my house, THAT MY FRIENDS IS AMAZINGLY SERVICE! PS We gotta awesome deal on a Nissan Pathfinder for an entire week. I couldn't be happier with this place. read more

Had a reservation booked prior, showed up only to be told they had no cars. No explanation given.

Never rent a car from this place. I was given a Nissan with a bad drivers side door handle. Visually you cannot see the defective handle. I did not mark the handle as broken as I inspected the outside of the vehicle which had wear and tear on the body. Over the next 2 days the door handle became more and more defective from opening the drivers side vehicle door. As a result, the manager said I had an opportunity to put the defective handle on the inspection sheet. So in the future I do not suggest renting anything from this company. Prices are cheap for a reason. Never again!!! I would give them a negative rating if I could. read more

Showed up with our infant, took the shuttle from the airport with a bus full of people. We got off the bus and were told that they had no cars. Every person had to get back on the bus and go back to the airport to rent other cars. They told us they didn't know when the cars would be back. Don't waste your time. I hope you read this before booking. Understand the following, that ALL the low reviews are true and higher rated are either fake or got lucky. 1. This place is not at the airport, it is in the WallyPark by 95 - but do yourself a favor and stay at the airport and grab a car there. 2. The cars are beatup, dirty, and smelly. There is only ONE agent on duty and the office is 12 sq. ft. and people are packed in with only 2 chairs. 3. Shame to any online rental agency (carrentals, orbitz, kayak, etc.) that claims they have "free mileage" on booking. Its a scam to get you in the door, then come to find out its 150/day or $20/day extra for unlimited - instead of arguing after the 1 hour+ wait you just pay the extortion fee so you can get going. 4. Prepare yourself for fuel charges even though you bring it back at what it was on the agreement. 5. If your foolish enough to hope that you'll be the lucky one that gets good service and a good car, go play the lotto, you will have a better chance a that. Booked online a convertible. Showed up and they informed us they had no cars. Only a mini van left. Frankie, the manager said we already charged your card and I can give you a mini van. Really? Refused to give us a refund. Gave us a free tank of gas. Kudos for his effort. How can this business model survive? Will avoid at all costs. Horrible. read more

Do not go there!!!!! I usually don't do reviews but I'm attempting to save someone else the hassle. First of all it took almost two hours just to get into a vehicle. This is the most AWEFUL place I have ever rented a car from. They charge you for over $300 to place on "hold" for any damages to the car that may occur. But the cars are already dinged and scratched everywhere. The charge hey put on "hold" caused us to over draft and we no longer had funds for our honeymoon. AWEFUL place. Went to the location as listed on the website; however, I could not find the place. Even called them to ask for the location but I had to wait about 10 minutes for them to finally answer me. They told me to go to the address (which I did), and kept telling me that I'm at the wrong location. I ended up canceling the reservation and rented a car from the airport. read more

Save yourself. I'm writing this review as I wait for my rental. It's 30 minutes past my scheduled pick up time but the employees have no idea what they're doing. There's a 150 mileage per day cut off no one mentions until you're here. And you have to put down a $500 deposit. Or you can put down $50 but it won't be refunded? I wish I could just go somewhere else but it's too late. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse than this. It's been an hour and a half. Charged for insurance even tho I bought online prior. Completely ruined my vacation. THEY WONT GIVE YOU A RECEIPT UP FRONT?! I pray I get it and I'm not scammed out of another $300 LOL THE CAR WE GOT IS OLDER THAN MY GRANDMOTHER.
