The full inspection report goes into even more depth! REVIEW: When it comes to home inspections, you could price-shop for the cheapest inspector, but that doesn't mean you'll get a good inspection. John at home inspection services may not be the cheapest, but he is certainly the most thorough inspector I have ever worked with. If you want to have a property inspected and want every nook, cranny, crevice and crack about the property to be examined, look no further than Mr. John with this company. He is educated with plumbing, electrical, roofing foundation, paint, appliances, all the codes and much much more. I didn't even have to search for him either! He was the inspector that my real estate agent uses. While I usually like to vett my own contacts for real estate investing, I happen to really like and trust my agent. So I went with him. And boy am I glad I took her word for it. She said he's one of the best and he really is. I tried to include my inspection with snapshots from my phone. It's much easier to read with the PDF that he provides you, but it is a good sample of his in depth analysis that I am happy I paid $600 for on a duplex.

James was the only inspector to fully respond to my initial inquiry. Seriously, I emailed about five inspectors asking roughly five questions and all the other guys skipped over half my questions. James was the only one to answer all my questions AND he responded the same day. 2. PRICING. On top of that, James beat out the other inspectors on cost. I was suspicious, assuming this meant some corners would be cut, but James did it all and then some! He went on the roof to perform a full inspection, got into the attic and lower crawlspace, checked all appliances and fixtures - things other inspectors were missing. 3. THOROUGHNESS. I consider myself a handy guy and have an engineering background so as a challenge to myself I swept through the house first to find problems. Let me tell you, I am lucky to have had James because he found all sorts of issues that I missed! He absolutely paid for his services several times over with the things he found as I was able to go to the seller and have them fix things. 4. (BONUS) PATIENCE. On top of it all, James let me walk around with him throughout the inspection to watch and ask questions. Two hours of answering my constant stream of questions is hard enough, but he was still able to do a great job. James exceeded my expectations, was extremely nice, and pointed out serious flaws that I missed. I will absolutely be going with him again for any future home purchases.

From the beginning, when we explained our situation, they were passionate about helping us get the house prepared for my parents. Dallas came to the house to personally look at the situation and Heather kept us up to date on the details of the project. On the day of installation, Dallas arrived on time and worked into the evening until everything was done. He told us that his goal is to do the work in other people's homes as he would do it in his own. His care showed in the solid work he did for us. Reno-O-Paint did a good job painting the interior of our house in December 2019. We gave them the…read morejob with the condition that they would also paint our house's exterior with a projected start date of September 2020. I started reaching out to them and finally got a projected start date of late Sept. 2020 at the end of July, 2020. As we got into the middle and late August, I tried to reach out to them again to get a firmer start date. After numerous attempts by me they finally responded in the second week of September that they would not be able to follow through with the late September start date. I was told they could do the job next Spring! They stated that due to CoVid they had laid off half their work force! I understand that CoVid has created huge effects in our personal lives and economy. However, I noticed that other companies are responding and continuing to take on work. Ren-O-Paint's decision and late communication with me forced me to immediately search and find a company willing to take on my house painting. Fortunately, I was able to succeed finding someone and will get my house painted when I wanted it done and not to Ren-O-Paint's schedule. I regret having to give this negative review of Ren-O-Paint not keeping their commitments, but so it is! Despite the crisis, other companies are able to make commitments and keep them!
