They are not the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for. I had the need for auto work to be done on my 2007 Honda Element with over 125k on the odometer and I sought out Superior Auto Works. My automotive service over the years had been Sams Auto located in front of SAW and when called them for scheduling my call was picked up by Brian at Superior. I learned that the times were going through with finding help had hit both businesses and a meeting of the minds brought them together. My trusted mechanic and friend for some 41yrs was now at Superior, so I felt comfortable. Though they were scheduling into October, I was able to bring my car in on September 11th and got it back on October 9th. They diagnosed the issues that I had pretty much came to a conclusion was the problem, being a transmission leak and an O2 sensor problem. I knew my trans was slipping at various times and what I thought initially was an oil leak was the trans. They remedeed the problem by flushing the transmission, new filter and replaced the up intake O2 sensor which was bad. Sixteen year old car that I bought used with 92k on the odometer and I plan to drive it until the wheel fall off. It's my ride or die car. Nonetheless Superior called me up a week after they had the car with the diagnosis and what the cost would be. They also made some other NONE safety related recommendations but said those things could be done later most certainly and not jeopardize operation of the car. I really appreciated their candor, honesty, professionalism, along with the same hospitality that I received from Sams Auto and Hubie Sams when I had work done next door, now being received at my new found location for automotive repair. My car is running great and I felt so good on my drive home that I detailed it a bit to make it look as good as its operation. For the money, time in repair and workmanship, you can't beat taking your vehicle to this shop. See Brian, Joe or Hubie and they'll get you taken care of. Previously, we had dealt with Sams Auto. Discovered Hubie Sams had consolidated with Superior Auto. Just had our 2009 Chevy Silverado worked on & the service was excellent. Since we seem to keep our vehicles forever, we were worried when our go-to mechanic closed his business. So relieved that we will continue to experience great service. Joe and Matt are quality guys who do beyond quality work. I brought my 2015 Lexus GS350 & my 2009 Camry here and they exceeded my expectations. They are very through and reasonably priced. They won't be the cheapest, but they won't charge dealer prices either. You definitely get what you pay for when you come here. After having far too many disappointing service experiences at authorized dealerships, I wanted an independent inspection of a suspected problem on my 2018 BMW M550i. After reading the reviews posted about Superior Auto Works, my decision to reach out for an appointment was made quickly and without hesitation. Wow, what a great experience!! More than fair pricing, sound and no-pressure recommendations/solutions, professional/prompt/friendly communication throughout, and impressive attention to detail (even on things I didn't catch, and I'm overly particular concerning my vehicles.) I'm on tour with my band, and our check engine light started flashing just outside of Carmel on a Thursday night. We stayed at a hotel in Carmel and started calling shops first thing in the morning. Not only did Superior Auto Works quote us at about half the amount of other shops, but they were even able to get us taken care of on the same day. read more

Took my 2007 high mileage Lexus GS300 in during the COVID quarantine to take advantage of the bumper to bumper inspection advertised on a flyer for $150. I will add that I had them look into a check engine light as well as a rough idle I was getting from the car. Two days later I got a call saying there is $6600 in repairs needed and my bill for the inspection would be $240. I understand that I had them diagnose a specific problem and I had assumed they would increase the charge for that additional service. HOWEVER I was never notified before they added $100 to the agreed upon amount. But whatever, $100 isn't what urged me to write this review. The thing that solidified for me that I will never take a car here or recommend a friend or family member to take a car here for service is that when I asked for the inspection findings to be printed off at the time of paying the $240, the owner of the shop said "oh it'll be a lot easier on my end to just email it". (I will add, that at this time I told the owner that I won't be completing the $6600 in repairs with them because I had priced out the work at other shops to be nearly 1/3 the price. You could tell his attitude changed right then.) I said that's no problem I understand, ill look for an email later on. Later that evening I still had not received an email with the inspection findings. I gave them a call and asked what had happened. The owner said " Yeah Sir, so I'm not going to give you that list because I think its best for you to have your other shop do a full inspection and do what they think is necessary." I asked him why he would tell me to my face he would email it when he knew the whole time he wouldn't... the owner is a liar and coward. Thank god I didn't go through with the $6600 in repairs. read more
