It's been an unfortunate stay here at Eagle Crest. The first night was OK. We checked in @600pm and went to our room, which was a suite with a King bed. It was decent, but I'd hesitate to say it was anything special or over average compared to other local resorts. There is no Continental breakfast, room service or any other services which differentiates it from other resorts. However, there is plenty of activities and different complexes available on the resort's property (I.e. sports complexes, restaurants, etc.). The problem lies in the restaurant. We decided to stay on the resort the second night (Saturday) and had some adult beverages before walking the property to the on-site restaurant. When we arrived, we saw many people there already eating at tables and filling up the bar section. Both my wife and I were hungry and excited to try what they offered. Yet, we were turned away. The greeter stated "we are dealing with major problems tonight." We pressed further and he said the chef had cut himself and the computers were down. Ok, things happen, right? We understand. But they didn't offer a single solution or alternative for us. They said a pizza place will deliver to us, but that's it. No compensation or anything? We paid full price for our stay and we are not able to eat on-site? Which by the way, they encourage us to do. If it were up to them, we'd never leave the resort. Right? So, why not offer a single solution other than delivered pizza? I come from a retail background and I know first hand what we need to do to take care of our customers. We give solutions. And they just didn't do anything to help the situation. Not happy. read more

What a beautiful resort. There are deer and geese strolling around. Housekeeping quickly delivered a high chair and pack and play. The winter light show is very well done. I'm enjoying our condo- it's well appointed. Looking forward to our next visit in May. read more

As a local with family in town, we decided to rent a single family home for the holidays...big mistake. Hot tub was broke so I called to let them know and I think I called Spicolli from Fast times at Ridgemont high because the dude that answered was burnt crispy and could not hold a semi intelligent conversation. Shortly after we realized for a home of 7 people we had 8 towels, for showering and hot tub. Sorry but I don't believe I should be washing towels every day on vacation so I called...3 times today and each time was told they would bring more and never showed up. Now let's talk about dinner at Giblets and dreams or whatever they call themselves. Burnt food ( I had a shrimp that looks like it was cooked by drunk settlers over a burning wagon), but I can live with that... it was the 30 minutes while waiting for a shuttle where a drunk talked shit to my 68 yr old mother, 6 and 9 yr old girls and my 16yr old nephew and his girlfriend. I confronted the individual and told him that was unacceptable and behave like an adult. After that I was mean mugged by the manager and watched as a douchebag in a Porsche parked on the walkway and told everyone he didn't give a shit. Please spend your money at Pronghorn, Sun River Resort or Brasada. They treat people like customers unlike here. Bad investment all the way. read more

The reason for a 2 star review is the cleanliness of our room. My family and I stayed in one of the Chalets with a kitchen. When we arrived we noticed hairs in the bathrooms (both the sink and the bathtub), there was some dust on the baseboards, and no hand soap in one of the bathrooms. I also noticed stains on the sheets, looked like oil stains, as well as stains on the thrown pillows in the bed that were crusty. The kitchen was clean but some of the dishes felt like there was oil left on them or that they had only been rinsed. I understand that in the chalets it may be harder to monitor the kitchen because guests may just rinse dishes and put them back but none the less it was gross. The staff was nice, and the property was beautiful right in the golf course. I mentioned the cleanliness issue to the staff but I am definitely hesitate to come back here. read more

We are staying here for 4 days/3nights. The rooms are small. You walk inside and makes you feel like you are in a retirement home. You walk down the hall to your room and you feel cluster phobic because the hallway is narrow and the ceiling is not high enough. The outdoor pools are closed. read more

Beautiful king suite in a beautiful setting! Stayed here on my way back from Eugene, OR to Lewiston, ID - I knew I would be checking in late so I called to give them a heads up - the gentleman that answered the phone was very sweet and said that he would let the evening person know. I checked in about 10:30pm - the gentleman that helped me was very kind and helpful during the check in process, gave me excellent directions on where to park my car and where the room was located. The room did NOT disappoint! It was a beautiful king bed suite - with a fireplace in the living room. The room was very clean and the view was beautiful! The only negative that I have is that I only stayed one night! I definitely would stay here again and hopefully take advantage of all the nearby amenities the resort and surrounding area has to offer! read more

I initially was going to give Eagle Crest two stars, but I'm currently laying on the bed and I don't think it's very comfortable. My wife and I and our two children, one five years old and the other a one year old rented a king suite. The first two floors of the resort are owned by the holiday inn and The floor above us is owned by WorldMark. Apparently Worldmark decided to do construction right above us. So from 9 o'clock in the morning until 7 o'clock at night there's extremely loud/noisy drilling and people dropping things on the floor (read: our ceiling). My one year-old son still takes two naps a day. Further he goes to sleep at about 6:30 at night. So for him to take a nap is very difficult at this point because it's so noisy. I talked to the people at the front desk at the Holiday Inn. They claimed but they had no clue that this construction is going to be happening and that there was nothing they could do about it because they didn't own the upstairs. I went upstairs and talk to the Worldmark people and told them how inconvenient this was for us, and they very clearly did not care. They told us that they had informed of the holiday and that they would be doing this construction over year ago and that they were totally justified in making all the noise they wanted. When we asked to be moved they said they could move us to another room but that it was in an area where all the construction people would be walking through and it would still be noisy. There was no offer to compensate us for any of this inconvenience. We completely explained her situation with our children and nobody seem to care. My wife and I are very disappointed and will not be coming back. I understand the updates need to be done and construction will happen. What's making us so upset is that nobody seems to care. And no one has offered to help us at all. My wife suggested to me at least they should buy us some free drinks, but no such luck. read more

This is a wonderful resort. Lots of fun things to do. 2, 3, and 4 wheeled bicycles for rent. Wide paved paths away from the roads for biking and walking. 3 golf courses, 2 driving ranges, 2 clubhouses. Lots of parking spread over the resort. 3 fitness centers with a variety of activities. 3 pools and hot tubs. A hotel, condos, and time shares. Shuttles to run you around the property and to and from the airport. A nice quiet sports bar and several restaurants and snack bars. Horse stables for trail rides. A great place for your next vacation or conderence! read more

My daughter and son in law got married here and it was gorgeous! We couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise! But overall the facility was perfect for a smaller wedding and all of the staff were polite and professional. We had a lot of outside vendors come in from the DJ, catering, photographer... you name it and everything went almost as planned . It was a wedding of course, but as far as the facility, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a venue! read more

We spent our first night of 8 at the resort hotel and the balance in a 2 bedroom Riverside Condo. This is a review of the hotel. I've stayed here years ago too as a layover. The customer service was excellent, the room was updated. The bathroom was remodeled and had good 3star features and was clean. I would compare it too an older Marriott Springhill Suites. read more

We came here with some doubts since it is by far the most expensive Holiday Inn we have been to, but our friends were having their wedding here. The grounds are beautiful and there are so much to do. We will definitely be coming back with our son. This place seems to have everything with wildlife everywhere. We showed up way early and staff was really nice and were going to call us when our room would be ready. Our room was clean and nice, we were told the beds were queen sized but seemed more like a full, but were comfortable. The lock to the door outside the building didn't work, it was always open which we didnt care for. We did have a tweaker couple knock on our door right before midnight. My wife looked through the peephole and saw the guy trying to stay out of view. I answered it and they were not expecting a guy my size an skedaddled quick. The last thing we were trying to call the front desk our last night late to see if anyone delivered out here and no one picked up it just rang forever. read more

Clean and comfortable rooms in a beautiful setting. I was only here for one night but wanted to spend more time here so I could take advantage of some of the great amenities. Enjoyed our meal (and beer) at their restaurant a short walk from the room. Staff and service were great. So took some much needed time off work thought I'd spoil the wife for the sisters quilt show found many motels at time inexpensive but really wanted to spoil wife blew the big bucks on the condo here at 8615 redwing lane for a slap In the face came in at 9 pm to a room at 85 degrees. I could've forgave that due to electricity cost and all. Then wake up in the morning go to make coffee and not a drip of anything anywhere to be found mind you the bed was very comfortable hence the one star. Finally go to store get some coffee beans decide to take shower a all you get is one tiny piece of soap no shampoo come on motel 6 leaves the damn lights on and gives you shampoo for under 100$. So since it still feels like hell here with the 85 degree temp my wife gets overheated at quilt show. I bring her back hoping for a cool room it's now 89 degrees call and complain to front desk they tell mei have to wait 4 hrs to get it looked at by front desk I explain situation I'm told I'm sorry. Eagle Crest Resort - Won't cool down - Resorts Near Me - Redmond, Oregon

Who has a "check-in time" and a "guaranteed check in time"? This place does! They advertise 3pm as their check in time on their website, but say that their "guaranteed" check in time is 5pm (so you may not be able to check in at 3). Maybe they need an "extra-guaranteed" check in time of 7pm, just in case your "guaranteed" time is not guaranteed, especially because we went to check in at 9pm, and their computers were down, so we had to wait 15 minutes. We have stayed at Eagles Crest 4 times in the 2 bedroom timeshare. They are very large, good wifi, lots of things to do in the surrounding areas, great workout room and near Bend. We will continue to come back as we love Bend and always have a good time at Eagles Crest. read more

So, ugh The people here do not know what they are doing!!!!!! They told us there was room service and there wasn't, the told us the massage was in the same building, it wasn't. A great resort but very uninformed staff. Nice and courteous but had no idea what they were talking about. The golf course was completely covered in geese feces. I think they could do alot better. Was planning on staying here again until this all happened. Next time I'll stay at the Pronghorn resort instead. read more

The rooms were advertised as updated and new, but they are very dated. The bathrooms are somewhat better with new fixtures. Nothing here for the business traveler. No USB connections to charge your devices. Dated fixtures and carpeting. Certainly not worth the price they are charging. Was here for business and not for golf, so maybe the golf would have made it better. read more

It was a nice enough place to stay, but their business practices are highly dishonest. I have paid several other places over the years with a variety of payment methods. They don't inform you that they decide to have an additional hold for the full amount. They have a vague sign that says that you need to speak to your bank before using a debit card. My bank only holds $1, but the hotel decides to hold the entire balance. Don't even bother trying to address this with them as they will either lie to you or treat you like you are an idiot. read more

Do not let them coordinate your wedding as you will spend most of your time trying to track down Susan. 25 years of alleged experience yet shows up to ceremony in jeans and t-shirt. Then does not coordinate first dance, toast, cake cutting father daughter dance. Totally unacceptable on the most precious day for a young couple. She did so little possibly breached her contractual duties as a coordinator. Don't take my word for it, ask the staff, the dj, the photographer, the bartender as nobody knew where she was. To top it off they mislead the wedding party about the alcohol which cost them an extra 500. read more

We are currently paying guests at this dismal experience of a hotel/resort/disaster. We are part of a group that has planned over the past year for an event at this property. It's 8:20 in the evening and we have sustained non-stop noise from hotel contractors who are demolishing rooms above ours. Hammers, saws, stomping about by workers and the hotel claims they have no control over their contractor. They never suggested at check-in that they had issues that might be of concern. This is Holiday Inn Resorts and Wyndham as co-tenants in a single building. Holiday Inn has first two floors, Wyndham time shares are on the third floor. We are on the second floor directly beneath the demolition crews with their saws, mallets and nail guns. Just got a call from the front desk offering dinner or breakfast for the inconvenience. No offer of another room or courtesy relocation to a proper hotel/resort. Asked to speak to the night manager and was advised he doesn't work Tuesdays. Wednesday learned more of the operating structure of this property. It is designed for conflict and confusion...not for comfort and positive guest experience. From a business perspective it ties the hands of management to properly do their job so it's no wonder the guest experience suffers. Until the bozos at Eagle Crest sort out these issues I urge others to go elsewhere! read more

This is our second time staying here. The location is 5 star, how could it not be along the Deschutes River? The resort itself is only average. We stayed in the time share. Things as basic as towels, were so cheap. Thin, worn. The comforters and blankets matched the quality of the towels. Really just average, which I found surprising for a resort along the Deschutes and having onsite golf, and stables. I called the front desk to determine if units came with a wine cork screw. Marcus answered the phone at the front desk and related the units should have one and would email the appropriate people to have one sent over the following day. Well days came and went and there was no cork screw. The resort could do little things to make this a really really special place, instead it is just an average place in a beautiful location. read more

I stayed at one of the condos. I stayed for five days and five nights. The condo that we stayed in was very nice. There was some leaking problem from my bathroom. So we were moved to a new condo. The new condo is ok. We have a bigger living room. This one has a lot of bugs in it for some reason. We are having a great time in eagle crest though. read more

Great views and grounds! Big rooms but very run down. Nothing is really convenient, in that the gym is 1/2 a mile away and has no free weights. Great horseback riding and pretty fall colors though. Just stay outdoors! read more

This is the worst experience I've had in a long time. I would have been happier at Motel 6. We heard considerable noise from the room above us. Bathroom was filthy...a simple dowsing with bleach would have at least made it presentable. Room wasn't ready in time, twice. We canceled our second night and went to 5 pines in Sisters. Please cancel your reservation and find someplace else. Again, Motel 6 would be a better option (coming from someone who has banned my husband from making a reservation at Motel 6...). Additionally the bartender was horrific. Did he receive any training at all as a bartender? A good cocktail isn't that hard to make. read more

Stayed at the Eagle Crest resort and found the residence lacking. It wasn't very clean, the smoke detector was missing a battery and there wasn't enough sheets for the beds. A neighbor took upon herself to forcefully inform us about the dog policy. We had three cars but only parking for two, there was no other provisions for an extra car. My story about Eagle Crest is a sad unfortunate situation that should not have to be dealt with by anyone. First off I will say, the lodge itself was clean and appointed nicely. What I will strongly recommend is they hire someone other than Mary who was some kind of manager and by far the rudest most judgemental customer service based employee I have ever encountered! Secondly this company had the audacity to question me having a service dog!! And I quote " what exactly does your service dog do for you that you can't do for yourself"??!! Those were words that I was literally asked by one of their employees! I'm extremely saddened by this most of all and am in the process of filing a discrimination complaint and taking this to my local city hall, which happens to be redmond! read more

This is a great resort! We are staying, for 7 weeks, in a rental home, and we are so happy here! Super clean, well maintained, great amenities! I do not understand the bad yelp reviews. There are 3 pools, our rental house is in the "newer" section. I would guess most of the bad reviews are for the older area, but it's still nice. The gym is clean, nicely equipped. Pools and jacuzzi are great. Views are beautiful views of the mountains, golf course and lake areas as well a miles of bike trails. Fun for the entire family! read more

We stayed at the lodge for the first time in 15 years. I had fond memories of taking my kids here way back when and was really looking forward to it. "Welllllll.....majorly disappointing. The rooms were semi clean, carpets in need of replacing, in fact, nearly everything in need of an update. Most of all, the AC! It was 98 while we were there and our room never got below 75. Impossible to sleep at night! We should have seen the red flags when we witnessed box fans being delivered by maintenance to several rooms. My husband went to chat with them that evening and they said they could only offer us a noise machine, no fans available and "give it time" to kick in. Apparently, 6 hours wasn't enough. After another chat, they sent maintenance... we came back from a walk to see him on our balcony attempting to clean a filthy filter. He then talked to his supervisor for about 15 min, waited around to see if it "helped" (it didn't) then told us that these rooms just get hot and to keep our blinds closed. Really??? We had reserved 2 nights but decided we couldn't take another one so we booked another hotel. When my husband went to tell the front desk that it just wasn't acceptable to stay here, she just said "oh,ok!" No offer of a manager to speak with, no offer of any kind of discount, no apologies. So after paying for our miserable $200 night, we won't ever be back and we encourage anyone considering a visit to run the other way! read more

The resort itself is nice and clean, dated, but clean. The pools are such a disappointment with all their rules! You cannot have ANY food or drink by the pool except water, not even food or drinks provided by the resort! You have to leave the pool area to eat anything, which makes the pool experience incredibly frustrating! Chairs are of course difficult to come by on a crowded day, then you have to gather your things, get dressed and leave the pool area to get food, hoping you will have a spot when you get back! Half the fun of a pool vacation is having a nice lunch by the pool, it really ruins the pool experience when the resort doesn't allow that. We will definitely pick another resort in the future with pool side service or somewhere that allows you to pack a lunch and bring it poolside. Also, among their other rules, kids under 6 cannot be in the hot tub. Another rule that ruined our time, when our 6 year old could get in the hot tub, but not our other two kids. Any other resort I've been to allows children in the hot tub! Loosen up your rules Eagle Crest and let people have fun on their vacations! read more

This place is a dump in a real class location. The whole facility needs a facelift, and not just a coat of paint here and there. Bathroom shower has mold along the grout. There was a couple of pubic hairs in there too. NO!, they were not mine. The outside landscaping is hurting. Weeds coming out of the walking areas, litter, and the parking lot doesn't look like it's had a good cleaning in months..Clearly, ownership or management is skimping on maintenance. The only good part that I noticed is that the staff was very friendly and helpful. No attitudes. Regardless, this was a one-off stay and we won't be back.. read more
