As a home designer and property flipper, I have purchased several homes in the past. In all my acquisitions, I realized I've never taken the liberty to personally select my own home inspector. I could not be happier with the service i received from Eagle Eye! I requested a quote via Yelp, received a response right away, and then a phone call within 2 hours. I booked the appointment over the phone with Debra, and Cher called me to confirm a few days later. Cher even called when an earlier time opened up, just in case that would fit my schedule better. Sometimes, you can't even get your doctor's office to do that! Jeff, the inspector, was early if not right on time. He was incredibly thorough, noting everything on his handheld voice recorder. Jeff was very personable and had a great sense of humor. Although he did point out a few issues during the inspection, he did go over everything at the end, making sure i understood his explanations. I took notes even though he would include everything on the report, and he was patient while i wrote and asked questions. The whole inspection took about 2 hours for the 1600 square foot home - he definitely did not rush it. As promised, the report was sent the next day, detailing everything we spoke about. It also included many photos, and reference drawings/images. As someone who understands routines, this place has it down to a science. There are so many details the check, observe and test! He makes good use of technology, recording his inspection with a digital audio recorder, taking digital photos to insert into the final inspection report with his notes, and providing the report via his web site as soon as the next day (along with a hard copy by postal mail).
