The phone didn't wirk and the web site had no local number. No information about local restaurants or anything else. On our return trip we asked for another room. But neither the phone nor the tv worked. There was also a leak in the bathroom ceiling. We had to pack up and change rooms. The tv in the new room worked but not the phone. What really did it was that the shower control was so loose, we both almost burned ourselves when the water went from warm to very hot. I complained profusely, but nothing was done. No compensation or wven an apology. So yourself a favor. Stay away from .this place

They also had a few things going on with the walls but other than that it was a very enjoyable stay from a long road trip. The staff had a great attitude and they smiled the entire time we were checking in because my daughter and I were super sleepy from our long trip from Texas. I have to say if they were having a bad night we wouldn't have known. The room was very nice and the sheets were clean. I loved the different pictures that they had around the room. The bathroom was clean as well and it made a long trip relaxing before we had to get on the road again the next morning. They also had a Continental Breakfast that was very good...You got to make mini waffles. They had an assortment of fruit, muffins, cereal, etc. This truly did help us get ready to get back on the road because we didn't have to stop for breakfast. If we are ever on a road trip again and need to stop I will definitely stop here again. As always.... Enjoy!!!

This place was ok. Our room was not dusted in ages, actual cobwebs, floor not well vacuumed it…read morelooked as if dirt clods from shoes were all over the floor. You could tell the ceiling had leaked and not fixed. The worst was the bed was like a large marshmallow! We slept on the edge of the bed so we didn't sink! Some general upkeep and cleaning would do wonders we will stay in Paducah next time.

We had to stay overnight in KY for a family reunion. It was 3 adults, 1 toddler, and 2 small dogs…read more Found this place online and it was the best deal for everyone if we booked the suite. It looks very small from the street and maybe only have 8-9 rooms I think. It was very easy to check in and the lady was very nice. There is covered parking right in front of your room door. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked inside. It had a spacious living room area with a tv sofa coffee table and large chair, along with a kitchen, full size fridge, microwave, sink, actual dishes, coffee maker, a dining room table that seated 4 people. The king size bed was in this room. There was a small bathroom in the hall. There was a door that led to the other bedroom in the suite that had its own tv, a queen size bed, and then a huge bathroom. The shower was a walk in shower and was about as big as the other bathroom in the hall! The beds were very comfortable (I kinda wish I had that mattress at home) and the rooms were very clean. It felt like we were at a home away from home. Bonus was that they are pet friendly! There was some wear and tear in a few places. There was a little paint peeled off in the queen bedroom at the baseboard and the tile on the kitchen counter was cracked pretty good. It was nothing that was really noticeable if you weren't OCD lol. The checkout process was easy....just leave the keys on the table. We will definitely be staying here again if our family reunion is in KY again next year!

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Sikeston, MO for one night on 9/20/2020…read more Pros: Friendly Staff: All the staff I interacted with were professional, friendly and hardworking. Myra, the front desk clerk, greeted me cheerfully when I arrived without a reservation. She was helping other guests and literally hustled to get back to me. Beautiful Rooms: My king size room ($109/night) was huge, spacious, elegant, comfortable, and exceptionally clean (see pics). Also, it had a huge shower (I hate showering in bathtubs). The shower head was positioned about 7 ft up, had great water pressure, and I actually took the time to luxuriate in the feeling of all the warm water falling down like rain. Convenient (though unattractive) location: The location is convenient off the highway (near both I-57 and I-55), close to a string of chain restaurants. It is also situated right next to a Walmart for your shopping pleasure. The environs, however, are a bit dismal if you're looking for a 'room with a view'. Cons: Poor Breakfast: I would subtract a star and a half (if I could) for the underwhelming breakfast and confusing set up. To be clear, it doesn't matter to me if the hotel has breakfast or not, but if you are going to advertise a hot breakfast, then serve one. The Hampton Inn/Sikeston website advertises its free hot breakfast stating they are committed to making "that important meal a delicious one, too". Due to COVID, this hotel did not offer a self-serve breakfast bar, instead, you order from the rattled front desk clerk/breakfast server (which was the same person). All she had were sausage and biscuit sandwiches. I asked her what else she has, and she said yogurt. No bacon. No eggs. No waffles. No pancakes. It would have been helpful to have had a menu of what was available. Also, after finishing breakfast, it was confusing what to do with your trash and tray. Summary: On a final note, when checking in, Myra told me there was a problem with the room I reserved and upgraded me because she didn't want me "going on yelp and giving us a bad review". This is a good thing and is reflected in their attitude - they are working hard to get good reviews, so here is mine

With hair full of conditioner; the alarm, loud alarm, went off... while I was shaving my legs. A very quick rinse, towel around hair, putting on yesterday's clothes, throwing all belongings into my bag and heading as fast as I could to get out of the hotel. I had no desire to wait around for firepeople to check the place, and to be allowed back in. In the lobby I noticed people going about normal business. After putting all my belongings into my car, I went back to the front desk. Response, oh, sometimes the shower steam sets off the alarm. Management is replacing devices. Why was I upgraded to a room that had such a problem that it would disturb my piece of mind? I didn't take my medicine, I hed conditioner in my wet hair. I didn't get to brush my teeth. I had no inclination to haul my luggage back into the room. I went into the first floor restroom to get a tissue to dry my ears..and there were no tissues. I got tissues at the front desk. I also asked why there had been no cups in my room, was I to use the coffee cups for coffee and teeth brushing? Oh, there were suppose to be plastic cups in the room. This is not the way to start a day. Management: get your detectors fixed pronto. Don't put people in the rooms where this situation will happen. I stayed at your hotel two weeks before without incident ...but will be hesitant to stay here for some time.
