I ultimately had to move forward with another company. **Update: After the owner's response, I went back and reviewed our messages and he's correct that there were two reschedules, not four. I appreciate the clarification and understand that one of the cancellations was due to a family emergency. Hope all is well with your mother. That said... scheduling delays, limited availability and multiple reschedules still impacted my timeline and planning, which ultimately led me to move forward with another company. I understand that unexpected situations come up, but reliability and consistency are important factors when choosing a service. Sharing this for transparency so others can make an informed decision.

I paid 70% more than initially agreed labor fees on my remodeling job. Second, unless you are on site to monitor him, he will cut a lot of working hours that you are paying for his other jobs. This guy stretched my project of initially agreed one and half months project to total 4 months, claiming he "spent a lot of time on details". Third, he will use materials you paid to his other work. As most customers don't have the knowledge of the time needed to accomplish certain tasks, you need to pay attention to find contractors who are holding work ethics and standards. Most importantly you need to find someone who has the record and cares about his reputation. This contractor has none and cares nothing.

Needs a QC to make sure the quality of the paint is a "10" Took 3 tries to not have orange peel, thumb prints, different shades, so the bottom cabinets had to be completely redone.
