I was so lost on the whole IRA business and he assisted me in picking the right options with turbotax so I wouldn't owe the IRS money years down the road. Yay! At first I was skeptical since I no longer live in Ramona, but even working with Debra from Hawaii has never been a problem. When we first met with Patrick he patiently explained the different ways to invest in the stock market and the costs associated with each approach. It really put my mind at rest when Patrick showed me where he invested his family's money to pay for his kids college and why he made those choices. When I was layed off for six months, Patrick walked through our investments with my wife and me and helped outline a plan so we could get through the time without an income. During this stressful and uncertain time, it was beyond comforting to have someone we trusted and had a relationship with to help understand our options; this really put our minds at ease. There are only three people that work in Patrick's office: Patrick, his wife Deborah and Amy. All three are responsive and helpful with financial issues that come up. Phone calls are answered quickly and Patrick has often called late in the evening or even on a weekend to get us information that we have needed. Our relationship with Patrick feels less like a customer/client and more like a friend who genuinely cares about helping us. I highly recommend Patrick if you need financial planning assistance.

Chase does NOT absolutely care about you as a customer. They sent my mother and I to a guy with a ridiculous mustache. I am an engineer, and I know professional circumstances. His mustache makes Chase appear unprofessional immediately. I immediately knew he was not there to help. He was absolutely useless in helping with our efforts. And his Spanish needs some help. Please have him shave his mustache, your Ramona Branch with him is so unprofessional. His mustach look ridiculous and I am going to American Express, because Chase Customer Service sucks, especially in Ramona, and especially with the banker with the ridiculous mustache. No one thinks it's cool except him, and he (with the ridiculous mustache, Victoria was lovely) made me hate Chase even more. Hey! Don't use Chase! they also put back onto my account after over SIX MONTHS from a disputed claim, saying I owe money. I will hire a lawyer as they only have 90 days to settle, not over 6 months as your Chase Bank (useless) took. This is in your Dispute Process Legalities. Chase bank is ridiculous. The banker with the mustache is so unprofessional and useless. He acted like he can't speak Spanish, but sounded just find to me. I'm keeping the account open, but we are unable to use the credit card. They do whatever they can to not never help when we ask for it.

I called Michael from Woodson after being referred. Michael had assured me he could help me and my…read morepartner, that things were not as bad as I feared. We then spent weeks connecting our accounts and providing information for Michael, concluding by paying $500 and receiving our budget which said that we could meet all our expenses and still have around 500$ left over every month. However, each time we looked into the budget we found more and more errors and missing information which led us to realize that the budget provided was not accurate. For example, how could we trust that we would have 500$ left over every month when our 700$ HOA payments were not accounted for in the budget. Furthermore, the website used by this company does not accurately categorize expenses and relies on the user to manually go through and correct all entries putting them in the correct category. In summary, Woodson is a company that will blow smoke up your ass and tell you you are doing great but then fails to accurately represent your income and expenses. I went to Woodson hoping to stop living paycheck to paycheck but left still living this way. It was a tremendous waste of time and money. I recommend finding help elsewhere and if you do decide to go with Woodson, do the math and double check their work.
