I needed to change the front door locks on a townhouse I rent near downtown SS. I used the MoCo Best Picks Report contractor guide to schedule with Eagle. I was quoted $19 for the arrival and a range of $45 to $149 based on the types of locks I chose. DANIEL met me at the house and priced the job at $495 for two key locks or $249 for a key lock and a dead bolt. My feeling is that he created those prices on the spot but because I needed new locks ahead of my tenants move-in, I didn't debate it and accepted the lower rate. The work was done within 10 minutes, but DANIEL did not clean up the old locks and screws. He left them on the floor behind the door in a pile. If you need fast lock change and decent customer service for scheduling. I would recommend Eagle. But the price was a gouge and the indifference to clean-up disrespectful. RF read more

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! I was quoted $230 for drier vent and air duct + intakes. Turned out that intakes were 75$/each extra. New quote for drier vent was $250 + air ducts for $170. I was willing to eat that cost till the guy started acting up and telling me he's in a rush. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MOMEY ON THESE GUYS. They do not respect customers and just want to do the bare minimum. DO NOT HIRE this company!! They are scam artists! They added $500 to their original price of $450 for cleaning my vents and ducts. They were sloppy and left the old dryer coil and old filters on the floor in my basement. They claimed they cleaned the dryer vent but in fact it's a fire hazard as they didn't unclog the outside vent and in fact didn't even clean it at all! They claimed they removed mold but they didn't actually show me anything other than a photo that may or may not have been real. They claimed they sanitized my vents but I saw no evidence of that nor was their any odor good or bad that would indicate that they did deep cleaning. The technician gave me a receipt that was illegible and at the end demanded that I pay $950 immediately by Zelle to which I replied I don't do business that way. I was finally able to pay by credit card to the woman at the office, but not before the technician insulted me and said "Never has this happened to me that someone wouldn't pay by Zelle." Yeah right.... He also did damage to the wall by carrying his equipment from upstairs. I noticed it a few days later and called the office and was told someone would call me back but they never did. The list of complaints about this company goes on and on....spare yourself the stress and aggravation. Beware!! Nick and the lady at Eagle hustle you hard!! Eagle is trying to run a slick hustle. Blackmailing people. Nick the tech and the woman who answers the phone, schedules appointments are not honest business people. We are furious we allowed them to come in to our home and provide a quote to clean our furnace. I stated to Nick we needed a deep cleaning of the furnace not just the vents, we needed coils, and blower air washed/ and cleaned as well. I had received several other quotes/pricing for deep furnace cleaning packages over the phone from businesses. I asked Eagle for their prices and they would not provide them, they insisted on coming out and telling us their prices after they looked at the furnace. I explained I already had an inspection by Sears and we were just interested in knowing how much they charge for the cleaning! Eagle was the only company that would not provide their fees and prices over the phone or in writing by email! All of the Home Advisor referrals provided written quotes and shared their services and fees upfront. I trusted Nick and he assured me he would look at the furnace and provide a quote, no obligation or fees charged if we did not accept the price. Nick came out, looked at the furnace for ten minutes and quoted a ridiculously high price compared to the other companies! He quoted 600 more then any of the 4 companies provided through Home Advisor!! We said no thank you! As Nick was leaving he asked for 39!! Apparently if you do not select them to provide the service they try and sneak a charge of 39!! They do not advertise a 39 fee any where on their web site. If Nick had informed me he charges 39 if you do not accept their price I would never have allowed him in my house. We talked to several companies on Home Advisor who provided prices for their cleaning packages over the phone and in writing via email. Literally as he was backing out of our driveway the Eagle main office was calling me on my cell demanding 39.00!! They are Black Mailing, Scamming the public! They are a hassle and the young woman is rude, she called my cell a dozen times afterwards threatening me, stating she is sending me to Court, and credit collections for 39! The are both sick, and their nasty hustle of a company needs to be shut down and reported for blackmailing and lying. STAY AWAY. read more

I had a good experience with Eagle Air Duct Cleaning. I was a little hesitant after reading the 1 star review, but I had no issues. They were able to sneak me in on a same day call. The service man was super helpful and showed me each vent as he inspected them. There was a $75 dollar cleaning fee for heavy cleaning on certain vents. They were upfront about the fee prior to me giving them the go ahead. I was quoted $200 initially, but ended up spending $350 when it was all said and done due to both of my returns needing a lot of attention. I would hire them back. read more

I have a 2005 honda accord and was stranded without the key late for work the other companies would have me wait 2 hr before I could have service. My front door lock would no longer let me out.I called Eagle because they were listed in my Best Pick Reports. They came rather quickly and in fact sent two technicians at once and accused me of calling two companies and yelled at me over the phone. This was not a good start. The lock needed a part which they said they would order a 24 hour Fed Ex. They did not show up the next day and blamed the shipper and said they would come on Saturday night. It still did not come and I was told by the technician that they refused to pay for weekend delivery. They are the most unpleasant and unprofessional Company I have ever worked with.The technician said he would take care of me and he ordered it himself and installed it very late on Tuesday night 5 days later. They do not honor their commitments and I put in a call to Best Pick to tell them of my experience with them and find out why they are the only locksmiths listed in their publication when there are so many good locksmiths. Service very prompt, arrived in less than 40 minutes from initial call. Tal resolved the problem with the lock in our front door in about 15 minutes. He was polite, efficient, neat in his work. My only complaint was the high cost of the service, because of the need to remove the lock mechanism having a standard charge of $350, and $29 service call. A 10% discount was offered afterwards. I contacted them 2 weeks before I was closing on a home to come out after closing to have my locks rekeyed. I needed to have it done that night because I live 60 miles away from the house, and wouldn't be back for another 2 weeks for moving day. When I first called, I could not understand a word the technician was saying. She called me back - apparently, was something to do with the connection, because I could understand her just fine after she called back. Anyhow, I scheduled the date/time and she gave me a rough estimate for the rekeying, stating that it may change depending on what the technician saw when he came out. Okay, no problem. The technician was supposed to show up between 5:30 and 7:30PM. I waited until 7:30 PM; no call, no show. I gave up and rescheduled with someone else. Very disappointed. Seems as though they do better if you are in an emergency situation from these other Yelp reviews. Don't try to schedule in advance; they may leave you high and dry like they did to me. read more

I called Eagle to inquire about opening an internal drawer of a very old safe. It originally belonged to my paternal grandmother when she owned a little dry cleaning business. The key to the drawer was lost a long time ago when my father possessed the safe. He passed away nearly 3 years ago and I have held on to the safe knowing one day I'd get the drawer opened. The owner was very rude on the phone. I specifically ask the person how much it would be to cut a lock and she told me $19 for the service fee and the tech would have to tell us when he saw the lock. She would not even give me a range so the tech came out and before he cut the lock I asked the price and it was almost $200. We said we were not going to have him do it as that was way too much for us. He kept interrupting me asking what I was willing to pay and then called his boss and said why did you send me here and then said talk to him. I was too mad to talk to him so my boyfriend took the phone and the boss would not let him get a word in to explain the situation. If they had said at minimum it would be such and such a price we would've have said not to waste their time coming out as we could get the keys but we were in a hurry.
