We had to go through our homeowners insurance because the cleanup costs exceeded $60,000. The restoration required professional soot remediation, sealing and repainting walls, cleaning all upholstery and fabrics, and extensive cleaning throughout the entire home. What made this even worse was the company's response afterward. They would not provide the business owner's information or their business insurance information, and they took absolutely no responsibility for the damage caused by their work. We were left to handle the nightmare ourselves.

He was also just a genuinely pleasant person to deal with. But what impressed me most was that the dryer vent was only part of the issue. Rather than simply doing the job I had called for and leaving, Mike took the time to try to figure out what was behind the dryer warning disabling the machine. My dryer is now operating, and I avoided an appliance repair service call, along with the aggravation, time, and expense associated with it. That kind of honesty and problem-solving is hard to find.
