The seacan tiny cabin was cozy, warm, and thoughtfully set up with everything you could need, including slippers, robes, tea and coffee, snacks, and comfortable linens. The covered outdoor BBQ area and firepit were great for relaxing, and the bathroom was a short walk away and always clean, warm, and comfortable. Being able to buy dry firewood with kindling on site was also a big plus. I have been coming here for years for van and tent camping, and trying one of their new tiny cabins was a great experience. I have stayed at much more expensive cabins in the area, and none compare to the level of care and attention to detail at MTN Fun. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The campground host obviously has anger issues and escalated a situation where we were moving campsites in the middle of a long weekend where we had to book 2 separate sites to stay the full amount of time we wanted. When we moved our tent to the new site in the morning after a very friendly exchange with the family leaving the site, the host took the time to remove our tent, resell our site and cancelled the rest of our weekend without a refund. Not sure if he's just being greedy to take double booking when he can or if he is just aggressively making up rules that don't make any sense. He cited that it was an extremely busy weekend and he didn't have time to accommodate our request to move our tent earlier in the day, yet he then took the time to move our tent. Not fun having your weekend uprooted by someone like this. Save yourself the risk and find one of many other camping locations in Squamish. You'll be driving to your recreation activities anyway as this location has nothing special to offer in terms of location. MTB Stressed-out Basecamp. It's very evident all the thought and care that has went into creating this beautiful atmosphere and resort. We spent nights in both the Sea to Sky Loft, as well as the Sunset Suite. Despite our suite change likely not being the most convenient for the owner Marsha, she never made us feel a bother. Both suites are incredible, it would be really hard to choose which one we preferred. The views from the Sea to Sky are breathtaking, but the space and steam shower of the Sunset are equally enjoyable. Both had propane fire pits outside, and we enjoyed cozying up in the provided robes while looking at the stars. The space was clean, and beds were very cozy. This place is a hidden gem! Marsha was so kind and hospitable, and went above and beyond to make our stay the best as can be. The breakfasts she provided were all SO good! It wasn't your average Bnb, as each morning we got to taste something new that we had never tried before. We will definitely be back! We highly recommend this Bnb. Thanks Marsha!

Blown away. This…read morespot is lovely, and easily one the nicest B&B's I have ever enjoyed. The exposure is West-southwest, capturing the heat and the sunsets. There's A/C for comfortable nights during the summer, and fireplaces for ambience and warmth during the winter. Marsha's breakfast is delicious, and she was very accommodating to mentioned food restrictions. (Next time can we order two breakfasts?) There are also BBQ's and lots of area for dinner on the terraces. The other guests there at the same time as us were celebrating their first anniversary. None of us wanted to leave. To say that the suites are well-appointed falls far short. They have everything you need, and are cozy, comfortable and quiet. The hot tub is clean and has a spectacular view of the straight. Follow the gorgeous, long new staircase down to the water and you're surprised by private little spots with adirondack chairs. You can be 15 feet from other guests enjoying the beach and still feel like it's your own secret garden spot. There is a little spa cabin by the water as well, and although we didn't partake of the services, it was tempting. I could just imagine the ocean breezes lulling a person to sleep under the skilled hands of the local massage therapist. If you like to watch the boat traffic come and go, this is a great spot. If you're a gardener, you'll appreciate all of the planning and work that has gone into the property. If you like the beach, low tide opens up a white sand mini-spit just off the shore. And if you're crazy and brought work to do (like I did), there are tables in each suite, wifi and lots of peace and quiet.

Not only was I picked up at the ferry, but I was treated to a guided hike by Cecile, pampered with three awesome breakfasts, and invited to a jazz concert! I have never stayed with more friendly hosts. The room was spacious and had amazing views of mountains/harbor/forest. The walk up the hill from the ferry is short and doable. I took public transportation every day and had no problems. I had my own bathroom, free wi-fi, and comfortable. bed. Neighborhood is quiet, safe, and well marked. A great value!

This 1920's art-deco inspired rustic cabin is rich with history and it's been in the Eastman family for almost a century! The views from the cabin and property are stunning and it's nestled in a very private neighbourhood on quaint little Bowen Island (only a short 20 minute ferry ride from downtown Vancouver, and a 10 minute drive north to the property). The cabin faces north but we were still able to enjoy some morning sun, with the best part being the mid-afternoon sun to the awesome sunsets. Wow! Our two dogs just loved this waterfront gem - it was a perfect spot for them to laze around and swim in the ocean. We rented the cabin through Bowen Island Accommodations (contact: Jan). She was very helpful, thorough and corresponded with us promptly. The cabin was clean and all of the instructions communicated were clear. After running a company for 20 years in business we decided to sell our business and in doing so wanted to treat all our staff to a weekend get away on Bowen Islanx, while supporting Bowen business. We found the Eastman Water retreat on Bowen and thought it was expensive but ideal for our thank you gift to our staff. We booked a weekend with them and paid the absorb $3000 deposit just to secure the spot. On the night that our 6 guests arrived, Bowen got hit with one of the worse snow storms ever and most of the island was without power. We had planned a nice cooked diner at our house for our guests (husband, wife + 2 small babies), but unfortunately due to having no electricity we decided to move our diner to the Eastman retreat that we had paid for that happens to have power. It was myself and my spouse with 2 adults and 2 babies ages 1 and 2 that joined the innitial 6 people we had booked the resort for. We cooked a great meal together for everyone, shoveled the snow together and then left them to enjoy the retreat as me, myself and our 2 adult friends with thier 2 small children headed back to our cold house without power. After the weekend wrapped we all signed the guest book expressing our appreciation for the space. The next day we received a nasty phone call from Jan Stevens who repremended us and accused us of lying to her and told us that on top of our $ 1,700 bill for 2 days she has charged our credit card for an extra $600 for having 13 people sleep in the house! First of all we live on Bowen and would NEVER cheat anyone let alone a fellow Bowener! We pleaded with her that her accusation was rediculous as her house only sleeps 6 people which we booked for. She insisted that we were lying to her and that she would be keeping the additional 600 she charged us. It was a horrible feeling being called a liar and than having her explain to us how what we did does not sit well with Bowen people. Well the interesting thing is WE live on Bowen Island and are very much "Bowen people" and Jan Stevens who runs the Eastman Waterfront retreat as well as the Lazy Bowen Hideaway DOES NOT EVEN LIVE ON BOWEN ISLAND!! So in our quest to support our neighbors we ended up paying a rediculous sum to someone who lives in Palm Springs or Nevada not sure, but definitely NOT Bowen Island. She is not doing anything for OUR community! She is taking money off of the island. Also her rediculous cancelation policy which says if you can't get to your booked destination here due to ferry, weather or anything else. ...you lose your deposit ($3000) and are to blame for not arriving. Also if you have any day guests arrive just to say hello...you pay $50 a person for the visit and they cannot stay for diner or you pay more. The dumbest policy EVER and I wish we read it before we threw our money away to someone who does not even live on island. So if you're trying to support Bowen business, please do not rent from her! She is not very fruendly and was ok with leaving a family with 2 small babies out in the cold during the worse snow storm in history! Thanks for ruining a great end to a great company! We fed turkeys, small pig, donkeys, llamas, peacocks, bunnies, and guinepeags. I got hugs from the goose and kisses from snow (horse) as well as back tickles from the other horse. This was an experience like no other. I will be back here if I am ever in the Sunshine Coast. The tour guide was incredible and kind as well as knowledgeable on everything.

We woke up the first morning looking out from bed to a spectacular waterfront view that has to be seen to be experienced. We loved our stay and enjoyed beach walks with our very intrigued furry companion. The weather was perfect, and though cold, we sat on the deck and enjoyed some sunshine, watched the ferries heading in and out of Horseshoe Bay, never far from a well-deserved glass of wine! First off, Roberts Creek has nothing and everything all at once. General store, a library, natural foods store, a couple of art galleries, awesome restaurant and cafe, a spa, yoga and of course - lots of water, a tranquil hiking trail and Gibsons and Sechelt really close by. The Clwyd Cottage was built by Phillip's woodworking students. The fireplace, antiques, clawed tub are the added touches that make it feel like someone's home. And the picture sitting window in the bedroom looking onto the beautiful gardens make it easy to escape the world, curl up and cuddle with a bottle of wine and a good book for hours on end. Ahhhh... (There's also a second room called the Turret Room, upstairs in the main house.) But it's the people that make this place so serene. Phillip and Sharon are lovely, kindhearted hosts with quiet voices and sincere smiles. They serve breakfast (your choice of traditional English, continental or the special and an "appetizer") at the dining room table or in your room. Tea comes in your own special pot and the company was delightful. Be ready for early mornings, breakfast is served until 9am... but you can be like me: eat and then crawl back into bed armed with a book and the same view of the gardens. Make sure you sneak peaks at the awesome stove: clawfoot, gas and convection, it looks old, but it's new and beautiful! If you don't like doilies, antiques and quiet time, this isn't your place. But if it's peace you're seeking, you might just find a little slice of it here. Sigh.
