Surprising service, comfy atmosphere, and food. One would not think of an out-of-the-way location like Prescott Resort to have such an excellent offering at the Lounge which serves as an first-rate place for a casual, inexpensive, easygoing and comfortable breakfast, lunch or dinner!

We stayed here and had dinner in the Lounge/ restaurant. Very friendly vibe, nice service and pretty good burger and chicken sandwich. Menu is pretty varied for such a small place which might not be a great sign but we were happy with the basics. They also have live music every Saturday and tonight was the Groove Dawgs who were a lot of fun Plus Santa was here.

Jordan my server and bartender was a true rockstar! She went above and beyond and took really great care of me while I dined Sunday evening. Joe the chef of the evening really went above and beyond and whipped up a great feast as well.

We just had a fantastic date at the Eagle's Nest at the Prescott Resort. We had several cocktails from their offerings including the Bees Knees, Elote Lemonade, and Higher Ground. They were all wonderful and well crafted. We shared the Brussels Sprouts, Crab Gratin and Arancini. Each was great but arancini stood out, crispy on the outside and creamy inside. The tomato sauce it was served with a great surprise with harissa. We also tried the fish and chips Friday special. The cod was perfectly cooked and crisp, the fries well seasoned and the remoulade To.Die.For. Jordan took really great care of us. She was clearly well trained and so friendly. We finished with the cheesecake of the day and it was lovely. Prescott is sleeping on the Eagles Nest. The menu is well priced and approachable with elevated touches. And they have happy hour and a great view. We'll be back.

$18 for 12 sickly looking wings. When they brought the plate over, I told the person they looked sickly. Her response was that she would tell the chef. No one came to the table. I went to the bartender, we were on the patio so she took our order, and told her about the wings. She said the chef isn't there so there is nothing she can do about it. I showed surprise and her reply was, "We can't control what our distributors bring us." Well actually bartender, yes, whoever orders and accepts these orders has full control over what they buy. And they also have full control over what they place on the menu.

After going to the Eagles Nest, on Wednesday nights, for karaoke by Dave Rudder, for 9 months My wife and I were spending an average of $65-$85 every week, then the MANAGER, "GM" JIM SLOCUM, decides to quit having Karaoke. A normal rotation of singers, 20-35, spending the same were also there every week. I'm guessing $2000-3000 per week wasn't enough for JIM SLOCUM for 3-4 hrs of karaoke, just one day per week. While the food was good, but overpriced, GM "JIM SLOCUM" cut costs by trying to have only one bartender / server, and that didn't work. No dinner specials for those attending!! I'm guessing no one told him that people buy more when they think it's a special price. But with $9.00 mixed drinks and $6.00 soda pop he was more interested in what ?? Profits?? Most places try to have the alcohol brands that people want, but not GM JIM SLOCUM, after 9 months his bartenders still had to say, "We don't have Screwball, it's not in the budget," what kind of answer is that?? He would have sold how many bottles and made how much profit from just 1 customer at $9.00/drink if that 1 customer purchased just 3 drinks per Wednesday?? It doesn't cost $27/bottle out of your budget!! GM JIM SLOCUM has now a cut a day's profit and wants a band on Saturday instead. Obviously he didn't learn in GM business school that the more profitable days you have the more money you make. FYI: GM JIM SLOCUM if I was your boss and found out you just cut my Wednesday profits, by $1000 - $3000 you'd be fired!! Your job was to make money!! Your bar staff now makes less, your business makes less, your restaurant makes less and you probably make TOO MUCH!! By the way your Wednesday night customers will spend their money with someone that wants the business and won't be back to the Eagle's Nest! By the way JIM SLOCUM maybe you should advertise the Eagles Nest !! You never advertised the Karaoke, it was known only by word of mouth and by Dave Rudder, good luck with the bands !!

The waitress was so attentive and all food and drink was half off. I had the Bellini which was a heavy pour so you definitely get your money's worth. My friend got a martini and it was the size of two between the glass and the shaker. I love the ambiance here and you can choose to sit indoors or outdoors. Apparently it turns into a club at night with a band and indoor/outdoor bars. Well worth the value!

Blue Martini Lounge has quite the reputation. From several people, I've heard that it's a sugar…read moredaddy spot. I am by no means looking for a sugar daddy lol but I do enjoy people watching. I've passed by Blue Martini many of times. It always seems to be the most hype spot on High Street, a nice entertainment district in Desert Ridge. I finally took the plunge and checked it out on a Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. Parking is easy (and free) on the street, in the surface lots, or the garage on High Street. Ambiance (3.5/5): Blue Martini is definitely a bit bougie and caters to that audience. There's a nice outdoor patio which is where we sat since the weather was beautiful. There's a bar outside and waiter service. I briefly looked inside and there's a bar inside too, lounge sitting, and a dance floor. Blue Martini often has live music or a DJ. Definitely a spot where you can break it down on the dance floor. There's bottle service too if that's your thing. Service (2/5): Talk about slow service! It took our waitress longer than it should have for us to greet us. After placing an order for drinks, we received them promptly. After that we didn't see her again for quite a while. I wanted to order a second cocktail and she was nowhere to be found. Eventually she came around and I placed my order. I decided to close out right then and there knowing that it would take a long time to track her down to close out if I didn't do it right then and there. They also charge two fees amounting to 5%. Not sure what that's all about. Food (N/A): While they do have food, I just had drinks since I was there pretty late. I view Blue Martini as more of a drinks spot, but I can't comment on the food. They have a daily happy hour with discounts on select food items. Drinks (3.5/5): If the name isn't a dead giveaway, Blue Martini specializes in martinis. Beyond martinis, they have a large cocktail list. Plus everything else you'd find with a full bar. The drinks are a bit pricey (it is a see and be seen type of spot after all and you're likely to see old geezers pulling up in Lambos and Ferraris), but I liked the selection. I started off with the Blue Martini, their namesake. It's served with a blue glow stick. From there, I had the strawberry basil martini. Both were pretty good. Not speakeasy quality cocktails but better than your average bar for sure. While Blue Martini isn't really my scene, I can have a good time anywhere. If you're looking to turn up and dance, it's a good spot for that. And it's also elite for people watching.

The dining room is plain, bright and airy but I got to sit outside to take in the majestic Sedona mountains. I had the Mexican Hot Chicken Sandwich - it was hot more from cooking than the spices. This tasty sandwich had different flavors going on like a poblano cheese sauce and adobo. My dish also came with thick and indulgent french fries. AND it is dog and kid-friendly (we saw two dogs and multiple kids). I had the steak tacos, which were just OK. The star of my meal were the cocktails - all made with intention, and a lot of balanced flavor. The staff was very attentive, high energy, and added to the experience. And there is a somewhat obstructed view of the Sedona mountains that enhanced the vibe, for sure. Downsides: You are near the hotel pool, which added some noise here and there. AND the parking situation was not ideal for our family; they have complimentary valet (but since we had expensive items in our car, we opted for self-park) and self-park is up a huge hill, with no sidewalk to walk up or down (you have to walk in the middle of the driveway, which felt unsafe).

It definitely puts you in the mood to enjoy probably the best meal you will have all day. We started with a simple Caesar salad and some chicken lollipops - which were full of meat and even though they were covered in a delicious bbq sauce they were somehow still so crunchy! For dinner I had the butternut squash pasta which came with a mushroom medley in the best sauce I have ever tasted! I would eat anything made in that sauce. And lucky for my husband or else I would've eaten his, which was so tender and rich. Truly the chef here is amazing! And if that wasn't enough, they had a menu for dogs! There is nothing cuter! Our server and bartender were arguing the whole time and we waited awkwardly for a while just to get seated. When we came back for dinner we had a reservation for 730. The manager finally greeted us at the host stand and informed us our table was not ready and parked us at the bar. The bartender was covering the whole Bartop and had thin patience and practically zero customer service. We were seated at a nice fireplace seat with front row music but the service was pretty awful. Sat for a while without drinks and when our appetizer came out, chips queso and guac. It was so bad. There were about 6 chips and the queso had a thick skin on top and the "guac" was just bland avocado. The mains were not great overall the food was so mid and our bill, for 2 drinks an app and 2 mediocre entrees... $300 Please do better. Just because you are in the resort does not mean you need to charge out the ass for mid food and poor / unprofessional service. For dinner there are tons of places in town and around the corner that are worth your time and money. For breakfast we didn't even give them a chance, took it across the street to juniper cafe for a much better time.
