My husband and I have been coming here for several years now, and this place truly is a gem. The cigar prices are fair, the selection is great, and they're always adding new drinks to the fridge. A great venue to relax, indoors or on patio (or fire pit area), and enjoy a cigar while sipping a port. I prefer a lighter variety of cigar, so I have less to scrape off my tongue in the morning. Haha. I usually opt for a Connecticut wrapped, and had a nice Rocky Patel one evening. The next eve I had an Avo Intermezzo. Nice flavor without a punch in the face. This place is a massive ripoff. Extremely overpriced, and the staff expects you to leave a massive tip for doing nothing. Worker literally ran after me leaving to ask why I didn't tip 20% for him cutting my cigar, even though I spent $69 on a cutter (when he told me it was $49), $89 on a $40 bottle of cheap wine, and bought other cigars. I should have taken the receipt and left no tip at all after that. Be ready to spend a small fortune when you go here and then get beraided by staff if you don't tip to their standards. read more

After my last review someone - maybe the owner? - reached out apologizing and explaining they do not turn on firepit during summer. The funny thing is that on the SAME NIGHT he messaged me this, we went there and guess what? The firepit was on! ha! Guess we are just not important. No big deal, I've decided to move on from the fire-pit episode. We have been going regularly on weekdays and for the past 3 or 4 times, Mike was there. Treatment completely different. We even discussed having them at our wedding hosting a cigar bar. Guess Mike doesn't hate my fiancée as the other guy does lol and for that, we are thankful. :) read more

We have been coming to Scottsdale for a vacation the last couple years. We make sure we stop here a couple times before heading back. They have comfortable seating. A good selection on cigars. And if you don't smoke cigars they have some drinks to choose from. You can sit outside or inside. There are TVs in and out so you can enjoy watching whatever sports team is on. I have been a regular at Cedar room on Saturday afternoons, with a group of friends. Saturday August 19th I purchased a cigar and a drink, the cigar started to unravel about half way through I informed the employee he said and I quote it was caused by the wind. It is typical when this happens to replace the cigar. The employee was completely indifferent and said there was nothing he could do. Came here after lunch to smoke a cigar. Very nice place! Here is what I liked, and didn't like about it. Liked - New! Been open maybe 8 months. Clean, didn't smell like smoke. - Humidor. Nice sized humidor, good prices on cigars. - Outdoor patio. Super comfy chairs, misters, black out curtains, and 2 tvs. We chilled outside and watched some football. - Friendly staff. Didn't Like - Inside a bit small. There were a few chairs/couches, but not a whole lot facing the TV's (That is why we chilled outside.) - Didn't have my Nat Sherman cigars (Guy did say they had some on order.) - Confusion with a tab. My buddy paid for a beer and cigar with a card, wanted to close it out, and if he needed anything going forward, he was going to pay cash. The guy never ran his card the first time, and may have left it open (not intentional). When we were leaving, the guy chased after us into the parking lot letting us know we had to settle up our tab (We thought this was already done, and brought it to his attention a few times while we were there!). Again, I don't think it was intentional at all, but some confusion/misunderstanding happened somewhere! This is going to be a great spot to hang out at once the weather gets cooler! The back patio is awesome and it is a mellow spot. I like my other 2 cigar lounges I go to a tad better, but I can definitely see myself coming back here again. What a cool place to come for a cigar and a beer. Nestled in beautiful DC ranch in north Scottsdale this place is awesome. From the large lounge with couches, chairs and TVs to watch anything but you know sporting events are usually going to be playing. There is also and outside cover patio with tables and very comfortable chairs if you'd like to have a smoke out and get a little sun and fresh air. There is a really good feel here. Andy was awesome helping us find a cigar and also allowed my friend who is a photographer to take pictures of me while we were there. We ended up being there several hours and will now be once a month regular because of the experience. I highly recommend hanging out here. read more

What a unique experience Cedar Room offers. An absolutely beautiful venue without the normally accompanied stuffiness found in similar high-end lounges. Fantastic humidor with a great variety of industry staple brands, limited runs and boutiques; Atabey, PG, Viaje and El Septimo just to name a few. Like the liquor bar at Ashton's in Philadelphia or the humidor at JJ' in Pautuxet NJ, this lounge compared in that regard and at that level with regard to knowledge (John, the affecianado, is currently publishing 2 books on the subject) and exceptional service. Four of us went to the Cedar Room. We ordered a bottle of wine, an ice tea, and two cigars. The price was $100.00. One person in our party went to the front counter and asked for a glass of water. The manager told her only bottled water was available for purchase, no complementary water was available. Luckily she had a bottle of water in her car. When she went out to her car to retrieve the water, the manager came outside and told her bottled water was not allowed to be brought into the business. She had to drink the water out in the parking lot. Terrible customer relations. We spent $100.00 there but could not get a glass of water! They lost our business. Will not be back there again. Read your response: 1. The manager never explained anything about restrictions due to COVID-19. 2. I have been to several cigar bars in the past week. All have served water. 3. If Cedar Room was trying to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, then why weren't any of the employees wearing face covering. 4. I absolutely love this lounge. The full experience starts when you walk through the doors of this establishment. The atmosphere and the large selection of cigars in the spacious humidor is like being a kid in a toy store. The service is second to none. The wine and beer selection has just enough variety to fullfil any pallet. We were in town on business and the staff made us feel like locals. The outside deck is like being home away from home. The Cedar room has always had a great selection of cigars and friendly staff, but they have really stepped up their game! The misters worked great on the outdoor smoking area, they have added additional beverages including Bai Sparkling juice, and they always have the latest and greatest cigars! These days good cigars lounges are somewhat of a challenge to find. Cedar Room is one that I go to whenever the urge to have a good cigar is too much to turn down. They have an excellent humidor and the cigar assortment is quite good. This is quite a large place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Their beverage selection is limited to beer and wine. No hard liquor. No food. Here's the bottom line. Good ambiance, very good offering of cigars, enough televisions to watch your favorite sports. But not all is well. Service sucks. I have been there enough times to give you the lowdown on service. Other than Mike (who I guess is either the manager or part owner) the help is pathetic. Just yesterday I ordered a beverage and after 10 minutes had to go and fetch it myself. The young lady was too busy chatting with a couple of guys at the bar. Not acceptable.
