This review is for work completed in May 2021. Overall we gave 5-stars. If I break that down, the process is a 3.5, the cost is a 3.75 but the overall finished product is a 5 (See Pictures). Like others have noted Eaglewings needs to improve the time that it takes and the communication during the build. Our project from initial deposit to completion was 3-months and I (the customer) was the one who had to call for status reports. We believe we paid a fair price for the work completed. We were refurbishing our entire home and of course were looking for "statement pieces" throughout the home. One area of focus for us was our tired staircase. We met Dan at the Maricopa Home & Garden show and he showed us a few staircase designs they had done. While the process took a bit longer than we would have liked, it was very intricate work. We kept the existing upper and lower staircase and Eaglewings perfectly fitted their insert between. The gentleman who came out to measure? He spent close to an hour measuring the existing staircase. They even came out to do a pre-fit before powder coating and the fit? Perfect!!. The install team was very careful when they installed. The main stair case insert has to be 25 feet long and it was built in one piece. For a bonus they even spray coated two night light covers to match the railing insert. You can see the night lights along with wall in the pictures. Nice touch guys!! We are VERY happy with the outcome, we got our "statement piece" for the stairs thanks to Eaglewings. One item to note. Eaglewings did not stain the existing upper and lower rails, we had to find a separate vendor for that. Front security door installed less than 3 years ago rusted and chipped. When I called to let them know, I was informed that it is only guaranteed for one year. Person who answered the phone did not offer any repair options or apology. He was rather disinterested. I do not recommend this company. read more

I met Dan/owner at the Phoenix/Maricopa Home & Garden show back in April 2017. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to have him out in May to give me a quote (Front gate & Back gate) and actual install in Nov; based on my timeline available. He was very accommodating and easy to do business with. When the installers (Dusty & Tim) arrived, there were very professional & courteous and completed the installation in a timely fashion. We placed the order on May 17 and were told it would be done in 10 to 12 weeks. The 12 weeks are up and no gate. I've called several times and keep getting the run around. "It's in powder coat." "It's waiting on the screens." "We'll call you back later with an install time frame." Still nothing. read more

In 2016 We contacted Eaglewings after our friends used them to build an iron patio railing. It was beautiful. We wanted an iron railing for our new staircase...it's actually the one pictured...as you can see Dan and his crew did an amazing job from start to finish. From the design, to the fabrication, to installation and follow up...we even had an issue with one of the bolts needing adjusting and they came out right away. It turned out sooo beautiful and we couldn't have been more happier...it was the centerpiece of the whole house, we unfortunately sold the house, but are planning on using them for our new house. read more

If you are looking for a security door and you expect the door to be installed straight and level when installed - this is not the place to go. If you are expecting less than double the quoted lead time for delivery - this is not the place to go. If you are looking for customer satisfaction - this is not the place to go. If you are looking for pro-active communication regarding order status - this is not the place to go. The product design is great. The installation crew works hard and are professional in demeanor even if they have no idea how to correct a common construction problem such as the frame not being square. Salesman doesn't keep his word on delivery, communication or making time to come out and look at the installation. He feels that providing the customer with a beautiful product is that is required. Even though installation is part of the cost and equally as important to be done well. read more

Please consider this review. The rating is only this good because the final product and employee, Oscar. I would only recommend them if you a) don't know what exactly what you want; and b) do not care about timeline variability. I agree with the other reviews written at time of this one. Dan/owner was referred to me through my network for a new staircase railing. He is indeed friendly and knowledgeable as others stated. Where I believe he added incremental value vs. the incumbent vendor is that he helped me create a custom design to my taste vs. I needed to submit a picture of what I wanted to the incumbent. He was also less expensive than the incumbent. However, they took almost double the timeline offered and he did not communicate there would be a delay and/or the reason for the delay. Dan knew the timeline was important to us because we had a safety concern. Additionally, Dan denied being the owner when we called to complain; I can only assume he does not like conflict, but this is obviously concerning. We had no choice but to wait for their timeline, which we wouldn't even have known when we were on the schedule had we not called to complain. read more

After installing sunscreens on the majority of my house, we decided there were 3 windows missed that should have been done. We don't know how they were missed from the original quote... so ... We asked for pricing to get screens for these 3 windows. It seems once they have the bulk of your order and payment, the pricing completely changes. Original work was for 18 windows @ $1500. 14 windows were 2nd floor windows. These additional 3 ground floor windows is being quoted now for over @ $500! Really??? Fairly typical of some vendors I've seen - once they have been paid, and there isn't much work left that might be available, they don't seem all that interested in your additional business - unless you're willing to let them pick your pocket while they're at it. No - I won't ever use them again(Awning Works)or the parent company Eaglewings Iron Craft... ever. I have another company that is now doing the additional 3 windows for hundreds less (yes, multiple hundreds!) read more
