Love the sandwiches here, I enjoy the turkey club, however I don't remember the bread being so hard if you call it hard. Just a little to bite into the sandwich, otherwise it was a very tasting and filling sandwich. Service was good even with the lunch crowd. This Location draws more crowd than the kapahulu one and it's bigger with more dine in tables!

As someone who was raised on the east coast, I'm always skeptical of those claiming to make east coast hoagies but these are legit! We had the opportunity to chat with the owner and he was so nice. Gave us the background and you could clearly see the pride he takes in sourcing the correct, high quality ingredients.

Avery busy place for lunch. Chicken sandwich moit and bun is soft and easy to cheese. Fillet huge and perfectly grilled . They used to have lobster rolls but not more .Fries look good looking like waffees.

Sandwiches are delicious and i always come back for the chicken sandwiches. They have inside and outside seating tables. The staff is always friendly. I chose to try the kalbi cheesesteak and it was messy but delicious! I might not get that again but like I said the chicken sandwiches are the best!

They sell east coast subs, burgers and chicken sandwiches. We tried two of their subs and it wasn't bad. We got the classic cheesesteak (top sirloin, white American, cheese whiz, grilled onions and mayo) $19.50 and Earl's cheesesteak (top sirloin, white American, provolone, chipotle sauce, grilled onions and sweet peppers) $19.95. The classic cheesesteak was better. It was moist, had more cheese and was more flavored. The Earl's cheesesteak was dry and we could hardly taste the cheese. They both came in a crisp and toasted baguette. They also had my fave Orange Bang as a fountain drink. You don't see those everyday. We ordered the house drink sweet tea $5.50. It was different. It wasn't the sweet tea that I'm used to. The tea was flavored. It has some kind of floral taste to it. The drinks are refillable. I refilled it with an Orange Bang, which I loved.

Really tasty and hearty sandwiches that were packed with a lot of filling. I got the turkey club which was really good and I love the amount of lettuce they add for a crunch. The chipotle chicken was also really good a bit on the heavier side but a lot of chicken included. I did think the sandwich was going to be bigger for the price of almost $20 a sandwich. Won't be an everyday thing but definitely a nice treat.

Never had a bad po boy until today. Got a sprinkle of lettuce and some very thin, tough, chewy chicken that was more batter than chicken. Someone really put this together and said "yup this one's good to go." Not the EARL I remember.

Let's start with the bad, i guess. Parking here stinks. You can park and pay at Salt or try and find street parking (good luck with that). Ok. thats all the negative I can think of. EARL sells "East Coast subs and burgers"....as someone from the East Coast...umm...ok? I would never have called these East Coast subs as I think of fresh subs from bodegas loaded with tons of fresh veggies. And yet, the sandwiches here are still pretty darn tasty. The interior is small but always clean. There's always a daily special written down on the chalkboard in front of the counter. They make your sandwiches fresh so expect a little bit of a wait. Even with no real line it can take a couple minutes to get your order. I normally get the Cubano Italiano. (Cubanos are one of my favorite sandwiches and for some reason they just dont exist out here.) While this one is far from a traditional cubano, it is absolutely delicious. (Mortadella, ham, spanish chorizo, genoa salami, swiss cheese, sweet and cherry peppers, and mustard & mayo). They always come out hot and the bread is always toasted to perfection. I also tried their Spicy Caprese (+fried Chicken) which was a daily special last week. It was also really tasty. The chicken was super crisp, flavorful and juicy. The only thing was the spice came from the oil used and it wasn't spicy enough for me and was just a little too oily for my liking. Still finished the whole thing in record time tho. Haha. Waffle fries are good too, but nothing super exciting. Just a good, decent set of fries. They also sell UTZ potato chips which was a nice East Coast surprise for me to see out here. And they're the only place i know of that has Orange Bang on tap at the soda fountain. Tasty, but not as flavorful as Zippys...but free refills.

Lots of indoor seating and a single stall bathroom available! This spot is on the corner and has lots of sandwich options which can be great on a hot day when you need some AC. I ordered the turkey with pesto and added avocado. The bread was so yummy but it was definitely a more narrow sandwich. I also tried the chicken sandwich which was good but a smaller portion. They were out of fries which sucked... but the staff was very friendly! We ordered chips and a drink anyway. Overall a good place but pretty pricy for size.

Country style chicken sandwich and a daily special cheesesteak

I was craving sandwiches for lunch so we decided to check out Earl. I ordered the country style chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got a cheesesteak that was on the daily specials that day. The chicken sandwich I got was ok, it was a little dry and I wish it had more sauce on it. The cheesesteak sandwich was really good, lots of meat and cheese, and the crispy bread held it all together nicely. We also got a side of waffle fries, which were good; you don't see waffle fries at much places. When we were there, there weren't a lot of people so food came out fairly quickly. Prices aren't too bad either!

EARL Kakaako is my go-to spot for a quick, delicious sandwich or burger. Although they're known for their sandwiches, I always get the Earl Single burger, which is melty and full of their flavorful EARL sauce. I love their crispy Waffle Fries and their unique house made ketchup. Vibe: There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I love bringing my dog with me! The workers are nice and the service is very fast. They also have a bathroom inside the restaurant. Parking: There's street parking around the area, but typically it's hard to find a stall during busy hours.

Used to be one of the best places to get a decent sandwich but they've taken too many of the goods ones off the menu, like the turkey jam sam. Also, they don't allow you to build your own sandwiches which deters me from going there for a sandwich. Their prices have also gotten pretty pricey. Oddly enough, the other items on the menu like their chicken burgers and waffle cut fries are tasty. I'm so happy they added Orange Bang to their fountain drinks but I must say it's pretty diluted/watered down.

Went here with my wife before the beach. I had been craving a sandwich. We ordered a chicken Philly and steak Philly and it just felt like the sandwiches were missing some flavor. It was so close to being good but just wasn't great. I also think the price for a sandwich was a bit much. We spent almost $60 on two sandwiches, two drinks, chips and loaded fries. I'd give 3/5 for the food but for the price 2/5. Way over priced even for Honolulu

No, but we can accommodate keikis. We can do a ham and cheese sandwich, grilled cheese, or turkey.

    Are there gluten-free options?

You can have any sandwich as a salad, but we do not have GF bread, & we don't do wraps.

They're open 10am-8pm weekdays, unsure of their weekend hours.

    Do they still do brunch?

No, when I asked they thy are “currently not offering brunch”.
