Food was delicious once I got the eggs on my Benedict cooked correctly. I originally asked for scrambled eggs instead of poached, to which the server fought me on this so I said ok to the poached, but only if they were poached with the yolk cooked hard. Needless to say... I got runny eggs which I can't eat. Then when the bill arrived the server presented the credit card reader to the "add tip" display screen as the first screen that you saw... so we tipped 20%. YET the server never said GRATUITY HAD ALREADY BEEN ADDED since there was 6 of us even though we were on separate checks. He did this to all 3 couples. We love the food! We have been ordering from them for a few years and some of the events were: my Baby Shower, my Daughter's First Birthday, her Baptismal and recently for her Second Birthday. We've only ordered pans, and the first two times we ordered we reached a minimum of $1k so they delivered their food to our party venue. The last two, we didn't meet the minimum requirement, so we went to pick up our food. The pans were always packed neatly. The portions are great. The only thing is when we ordered the garlic chicken, it is really big portion so if you're serving it for a small kids, bring scissors so you can cut them into smaller pieces. Other than that, everything tastes so good. I usually email them when I make my orders and they get back to me in a timely manner. We look forward to ordering from you folks again. read more

Breakfast at 8:30am..we drove and we all had parking behind the building off of California Ave Since we called ahead, they reserved a table for us! I've eaten here 3 times and have had excellent service every time! There's never a wait at this location when I've gone, it's got tons of tables. We hired Guieb's catering for our rehearsal dinner. The food was amazing! Our guests raved about the adobo fried rice, fried chicken and the lechon. They were easy to work with and they delivered our food on time. One small note: the shrimp tempura and lumpia was soggy... so make sure if you order that, the container must be ventilated. read more

The last thing I wanted to stress about was the catering for my son's 1st birthday party and Guieb's catering made everything stress free. Maria was so easy to work with in setting up our menu which was reasonably priced and the staff arrived early to the event. We had the Filipino buffet with some local dishes, pupus, and we also ordered lechon and lumpia (banana, ube, pork, vegetable, yes we love lumpia) and cascaron thru their third party vendors. The ahi poke was so good. I also enjoyed their fried chicken and crispy lechon. My guests kept raving about how good the lumpia was. I loved how they set up the buffet. They had flower arrangements and fancy linen on the table that made you feel like you were in a hotel or a restaurant. They even gave us the flowers to take home afterwards. They also cut and served the lechon which is a huge job in itself. They gave us lunch plates to make the traditional baon or take home plate afterwards, and covers for the large serving trays so we could take that home too. The only 2 things that I would suggest is maybe a water/juice/iced tea station (we had to bring our own drinks) and more lechon sauce. THE BEST CATERING SERVICE OUT THERE! I was referred to Guieb's Catering by my best friend's family. I inquired with them back in November and got a quick response to check out their menu online. They have a variety of food menus for us to choose from. We decided to choose the Dinner Buffet menu. We met with Ernesto & Maria, who are the owners of this local business to go over details before we submitted deposit and signed the contract. They are so accommodating with changes and are flexible with any menu options you may want. So if you have any specific dishes you may want, you can inquire and I'm sure they'll be willing to work with you. I was in contact with mostly Maria who handled all the business side of their company while Ernesto was the main chef. Maria was able to help me decide with a lot of my many questions and concerns about our catering event. And even accommodate last minute requests such as adding more pupus, lechons, and a dessert spread. Through email or text, she was quick to respond to all my needs. The day of my daughter's party, they exceeded every expectation I had. Guieb's Catering went all out and above to decorate to match my daughter's pink and gold royal theme. Seriously haven't seen any catering company let alone any food setup as beautiful as they have done. In my opinion even better than the hotel set ups I've been to. They had the pupus on a separate table and the long table spread of starters, starches, main entrees, desserts and the lechon. Although I didn't get a chance to eat or even see the food spread (aside from everyone posting pics of it), I've been getting compliments about how good the food was and the beautiful set up. Their team of workers who were even family members worked so hard to make sure the food trays were never left empty and made sure things turned out perfect. They knew what they were doing and did everything without having to ask us anything. They also provided the utensils and take out plates for left overs. Which I'm surprised we even still had considering that I ordered for expected 300 people but it seemed like more than expected showed up because they failed to rsvp. But thankfully, Guieb's catering is an expert to this food business and made enough to feed everyone. I'm all for supporting local business and this is one company that I would definitely recommend to take care of all your catering needs. I hired Guieb's Catering for my son's 1st Birthday and they were awesome! This was my one stop shop! Getting in contact with them is so easy and I get a quick response. They were so accommodating with changing the menu around to my needs. They also were so flexible with me adding more head counts last minute. Almost everyone attending our small wedding was from the mainland and they all raved about the food! It was so good! The owners wife was very quick to respond to any questions I had and was able to accommodate us even though their website said they didn't do groups as small as ours. After getting quotes from other catering companies, Guieb's catering was able to accommodate all my needs for my sons first birthday party all under our budget. Chef Ernesto & Aunty Maria (wife & assistant) were easy to contact, helpful w/ recommendations, & even offered desserts (w/ additional price yet still within our budget) On the day of, presentation was more than what I expected! Chef Ernesto was able to set up the buffet & even added beautiful carved out fruits w/ my sons name on it! We were looking for a caterer in the area for my daughters birthday. With only 1 week, there were two available and based on selection and price, I went with Guieb's Catering and it turned out to be the best decision!!! I wanted to mimic Filipino house parties I grew up with and with Guieb's catering Filipino dishes I was able to accomplish just that. More so, since it was a kids birthday party, I had to accommodate children so I tapped into their other American selections and let me tell you, their fried chicken, among other things, was a hit!!! We completed our spread with some pupus and with everything we had, the price was on point. Surprisingly even with the head count provided, we still had extra food for people to take home (Balon). From beginning Ernesto and Maria were quick to respond, adapted with my changing headcount and to close the loop, they surprised me with a follow-up email to asking if everything went well. What an excellent food we had this weekend! I order enough to cover more than we should but still, food was all gone no left overs.
