This sandwich shop is located inside the circle K . I rate my experience here a 3.5 star. I've been curious about this place for a while and finally stopped and tried it. I work in the area and one of my coworkers really likes the sandwiches here. I thought the sandwich that I had was not bad. I just was expecting a little more for a 6 inch $10 sandwich.I would eat here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here and next time I will probably customize my sandwich a little . This place was so good! I wanted a sandwich for lunch and I bought two one veggie for my coworker and one the earl club! The sandwich shop is inside the convenient store for the gas station but even with that they were fast with service and the sandwich was a 12/10. The guy in the front was very helpful with the selections and came to ask what I wanted right as I walked in. Parking is tight since it's a small area but overall would come here again! read more

I love a good tuna melt at Earl of Sandwich. They do everything right, especially with the addition of putting Swiss cheese in their tuna mixture. There is just something about their sandwiches that's is so comforting. I have always said it's definitely the BREAD that 'makes' the sandwich, and this truly could be the reason the sandwiches are so good. Even though they changed their bread recipe [which imo was better bread] several years ago, the place still slaps! I do wish they would go back to the old bread recipe though. The one time I don't read the reviews, just saw the 4 stars and wanted to check it out. I've been to the EOS in downtown and liked it, minus the location...very disappointed with this sandwich experience. It's in a gas station, sandwich was ok, no where to sit on the property but luckily there was a semi-decent place to sit at the property next door. The gas station was clean and there was a restroom. Tots were soggy, seasoning was ok. My roast beef was decent - it's hard to find anywhere that has roast beef and horseradish as a condiment. My husband was not blown away by his turkey club - said Ike's is better and I agree. Pass on the salad. I'd rather eat in the comfort of my own home and make my own sandwich for the price and convenience. Drove 45 min for this trash. The company I was with, the adventure of coming here, cleanliness, the ok-ness of the food and the interesting people watching give it 2.5 but will round down to 2. Won't be back. :( read more

It's nice to see Earl of Sandwich pairing up with Circle K. I hope it happens more often. They are located inside the Circle K. I had the "Italian" which came with "Salami, capicola, ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, Roma tomato, Italian seasoning & Italian dressing" (Earl of Sandwich, 2023) It was a very good sandwich. My only complaint is that it was a little small for the the price of $10, but what do you do. Other than that, the sandwich was delicious, then again you can not go wrong with the deli meats the sandwich comes with. They were all very tasty. I also really liked the Italian dressing and the hot roll they used in this particular sandwich. I look forward to stopping in to try their breakfast sandwiches. 02/13/2024 - I'm here frequently. I ordered their limited special the Pastrami sandwich. Total time from the order to the ready to go was about 10 minutes. Very friendly staff. The cost of the sandwich was about $10. It tasted very good. Though, it looked nothing like the photograph displayed. A total of 4 stars. I had been missing out on this place because of it's hidden location. Someone posted this on the Santee Facebook page and I knew I had to try it cuz of the 4/5 Yelp stars. I'm somewhat of a huge sandwich lover and I always order an Italian sandwich as the baseline for trying out any sandwich shop. When I opened the wrapper, I was skeptical at first because I only saw meat and cheese in there but holy cow was it SO flavorful! You can tell they use premium ingredients, including the bread. I didn't know that it would be a warm/toasted sandwich, and I don't normally prefer my sandwiches like that but this was SO good. Fast, friendly service. Will definitely be back for more. read more

I have to say I really appreciate the manager and his staff really go out of their way to make everyone feel as though they're part of the family at this location. I've been to many circle k's and have never been to one that is as friendly and giving of themselves to help the customers. My favorite person, has to be Cherry, every time I come in she seems to always know just what I want, and I don't feel like I'm visiting a restaurant, she makes me feel like I'm visiting her own kitchen. I'm not sure why she's not the manager of the place, by the way she works, and her customer service is over the top. But honestly I must say, this customer has to say that I believe the whole staff is just wonderful. Again thank you for opening up your store, and Earl of Sandwich in the Santee area. If you've never tried their sandwiches and a tired of visiting a local establishment that doesn't give you friendly service, and doesn't treat you as though you are someone of importance. Because let's face it, if it wasn't for the customers, there wouldn't be a business. And this location treat you as though you are a special customer. So go on down and you'll know what I mean, whether you need just something to drink or you need a car wash, or gas or just a nice hot sandwich in a cup of soup, you will get it from these folks. I got the Chipotle Chicken Avocado sandwich and it did not disappoint. It had the proper proportion of ingredients to bread and the bread was perfectly toasted! I have been to both the Las Vegas and Downtown Disney locations and the sandwich tasted the same at all of them. I definitely recommend stopping at this location and getting a sandwich! read more

This location is apart of a gas station. I ordered the Earl sandwich and was not impressed. I was excited for a location to be opening up in Santee because I had first tried this chain restaurant in VEGAS years ago. Back then their sandwiches blew me away but this time it was mediocre at best. And the tots I ordered were dry. Very disappointing experience. read more

Had lunch from here today. Ordered the Italian. Comes nicely warmed/toasted. Meats were nice and warm. Stopped for gas and a couple breakfast sandwiches on our way out of town. Tried one of each and though alll were good the ham was the best!

Got a grilled cheese and tots to go. There was mayo in the grilled cheese sandwich and it was off-putting. I did like the tots but wish there was some more seasoning. I got their chicken avocado bacon wrap and it was disgusting, it was drenched vinegar to the point that's all you can taste, the bacon tasted freezer burnt and was not fresh, and to finish it off the whole thing was ice cold.
