I have a 93 Silverado that was in need of some new paint due to oxidation and I thought why not change the color while we're at it? I found a paint code I wanted to use and Hector gave me different options on the final color. The price was fair and the paint job came out great! They painted the door jams, under the bedliner and between the truck bed and cab, doing everything the right way. Called these guys because of all of the good reviews and they were right. Got a quote to fix all the dents/dings and paint my car. The quote was a little bit lower than I expected and so I honestly didn't even shop around at that point. Service was professional and friendly. The car took a little bit longer than expected, but I did also have them refurbish my headlights. My car looks new and damn I can finally see at night with my clear headlights. I recommend getting both or either of these things done to your car. Very happy. read more

I had to replace foggy and yellow headlights. I brought in the parts and Hector did some inspection and was told that some headlight replacements he did on the same brand (but not the same model) has some sort of a box connected to the headlight and the ones I brought in doesn't have one. He said he doesn't want to remove them and find out later that it will not work but I will be charged the same - very honest and conscientious guy. Not sure if it's technically part of the national Earl Scheib chain still, but business point man Hector + his crew here are the real deal. I've entrusted them with painting two of my older vehicle classics already and haven't been disappointed. The prices here for work in relation to the quality you're getting cannot be beat in my view. And, trust me I'm the type of customer that always roots out the best deals & businesses. Customers in this line of work would be wise to do a little research and learn the differences in quality paint + bodywork and the timeless advice of "getting what you pay for." Never more true in this line of business. For example, you could likely find a business like, say Miracle Auto Painters to paint your car for around $800-$1000. This will definitely be no frills, and a 1-stage paint process, meaning you'll likely need to get your car repainted again in a couple years. Better to just save a few more dollars and come see Hector to get the job done right the first time. read more

I have been coming to this location for a few years. Carl and Hector have always treated me well. I have had about six cars painted here for work and two for myself. I know the reputation Earl Schieb has, and these people defy it. First, you cannot come in and expect a $5,000.00 paint job for $299.00. Common sense says that won't happen. They have to cut a few corners to save massive amounts of money and time. Yeah, they tape things off and don't remove things. This saves THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. You come here because you want a quality paint/body job done at a low cost. They deliver on this. They have done great on all of my cars and any issues that arise have been handled promptly. The turn around time is really good too. A full service (and price) shop would take a month and five plus grand to re-paint a car. They do it in less than a week, with body work included. And at 25% of the price. If you have a brand new car I'd let the insurance company pay for a high end shop (just to be honest). But if it's not brand new why not save a few bucks and come here? The work is good and the savings are great. read more

should have been 5 stars I made a mistake of having dents on my 2005 Honda Pilot done by those mobile dent repairs shops and they did a bad job, the paint wasn't matched. I shopped around to see how much it cost to have my vehicle repainted and the best for the bang deal I received was at Earl Schiib of Vallejo. The price was very reasonable and can be done in a very timely manner. I was surprised when I got my car back it looked brand new! the paint job was superb! My hood that has lot of nicks was flawless. I'm so glad that I brought my car at Earl Scheib of Vallejo. Hector explained to me the options of the different paint packages and I chose the diamond service and I'm glad that I did it. I would have rated them 5 stars except they missed a few (3) very minor nicks. When I pointed this out to Hector he told me to schedule my car for a touch up job. I was referred to earl schieb of vallejo by multiple body shops in vallejo, to do a full color change on my truck. I went and got a quote from hector and then searched around somemore, some lower some higher priced. About a month or so later i finally decided on Earl schieb. From start to finish it took about a week and a half until it was ready for pickup, and the results were fantastic. There were a few defects in paint on a few parts and hector immediatley took responsibillity and re sprayed in a timely manner. What a great experience, couldnt have been happier, hector put up with tons of questions and helped me out quite a bit through the process! I have 3 of my buddies vehicles going to hector when they are ready for paint. I've had Earl Scheib paint two cars for me. The latest was a 1988 Ford Ranger. Hector the manager and I agreed on a "silver" paint job, with some body work and doing the door jambs. The finished job was just outstanding. With the body work and jambs, and a new windshield installed, total was $1300 and change, and the truck looks brand new. I did a lot of research and this wasn't my first rodeo. I picked up a 91' Benz 190e that was owned by a deceased older gal, red color, interior immaculate leather, maintenance records, running well but the clear coat was nasty and pealing but no dings. Paid $1700. I didn't want to double that for a paint job. Brought it up to Maaco- Santa Rosa and they said for $1000+ I'd get a light sanding and some paint. Then I called Carl at Earl Sheib-Vallejo. He gave a price of $500 for Viper Red and sanding down to the base paint. Took him less than 2 days. Absolutely beautiful... Like new smoothness. The Viper Red color has folks turning their heads.
