Been here a few times. Service is always excellent. They text you with updates the whole time they have your car. They make it extremely easy working with the car rental place so that you are able to leave your rental car there when picking your car up. This time I worked with Devaughn Harris he was great, very professional and explained everything in detail that was going on with my car during and after. This is the only place I will go to repair my car and I've definitely referred family and friends to them. read more

G&C Auto Body told me things to get my business that did not match what actually happened, communication throughout the repair was terrible, and I repeatedly had to chase them for information. At one point I was told my car was ready, so my rental situation was ended, only to find out my car was still taken apart and not actually ready. I was left without my vehicle and without a rental because of their poor communication and handling of the repair. The problems did not end when I finally got my car back. Within about three weeks, the paint on the repaired bumper began chipping, and the bumper fitment is visibly uneven. I have honestly dreaded contacting this shop again because the experience was so stressful and unpleasant. The customer service was unacceptable, particularly my interactions with Cedrick. A customer should never be yelled at by someone who is supposed to be helping resolve problems with a repair. His behavior toward me was completely inappropriate and, in my opinion, he should not be in a customer-facing position. Between the lack of communication, being told the vehicle was ready when it was not, the rental issue, the way I was treated, and now having problems with the repair itself, I cannot recommend G&C Auto Body. Major changes in both customer service and quality control are needed. read more

Alex and GM Matt are great. G&C is truly lucky to have Alex! Personable but professional and on top of communication. I had to work with them for about a month because of back to back accidents (neither of them my fault but just really bad luck) and warranty work. The warranty work was for a whistling sound coming from my drivers side door/window and the shop receiving incorrect parts from Honda. The shop did admit they missed a couple things on their end one of the times I brought my car back (this is where Matt stepped in to work on the vehicle himself) but the fact that they took accountability made me feel better about continuing to work with them. Shout out to their detailing team as well. I'm big on taking care of my car aesthetically, almost OCD about it, and it came back cleaner than I left it, including interior. Another shout out to Kaitlyn at the front desk. She's very accommodating even when she's pretty busy. I can't say anything about the value since no money came out of my own pocket, but because both accidents happened to the same door and only a week apart, I'd say the invoicing was pretty fair. $2k-$3k to replace the drivers side door and fix the fender. While they're great people, and from my experience, do quality work, god forbid I have to see them again cause that means I have to have work done on my car/something is wrong with it. They care about your car. I've had a terrible run of bad luck where my car is concerned and G&C did me tight all three times. I really want to commend Justin on his fine job representing G&C. He handled my car twice. This last time I'd been carjacked and the guy went many miles at high speed on a flat tire. I have a very high deductible because I use my car for business. I just wanted to spend as little money as possible and have a well running car. Justin did that, and personally made phone calls to get the right item and price. So they did a front bumper replacement for my car but when I got my car back my engine light was on and they told me it had nothing to do with what I came in for I then took my car to an actual dealership where they found wires spliced together where the bumper is which was why my engine light was on. I took my car back to this auto shop and they said they would order the part for me but after that there has been no response from this auto shop for 3 months. As I finally got my car back today. My window tint still is missing. They apparently will be fixing that tomorrow or Monday. So technically my car is not completely repaired. After completely having to make a fuss yesterday and refusing to no longer work with the service rep Tyrone. Matt (The GM) was able to push forward getting the bumper I needed. While Tyrone on the other hand pretty much told me there was nothing more he could do yesterday. Tyrone was not empathetic AT ALL . NOT ONCE - about my terrible experience, and even stopped calling me about updates, but rather would send a text. Wthh?? I just want to thank the G&C Auto Body Team for hooking up my car after I was in a accident with a non license, non registered and not insured motorist back in May right before my birthday. They were recommended by my insurance company nationwide and they did a great job. The hardest part was matching my custom paint which they could not warranty but DAMN did they surprise me and maybe even themselves a lil. My car was stolen and recovered with multiple damages. The windshield and electrical harness had to be replaced as well as cameras in the bumpers and various other parts. G&C Vallejo had my car for 9 weeks and returned it with many incomplete repairs-the SIM card for the dashboard was not in place, the windows won't open or shut, the door handle doesn't lock/unlock properly. There are multiple scratches that were not addressed and the cargo cover is missing. Lenny and Matt were polite, responsive and apologetic. Theyoffered a compensation for the inconvenience but never actually delivered. All the people I interacted with were wonderful but the work was not done correctly or in a timely fashion. I will never use this site again, even though the people were pleasant I gave a 2 star rating because the people were nice but the service was substandard read more

Terrible! I will never visit this location. Empty promises and they do not honor their commitments. Spread the word. Initially brought our car in on an accident to the driverside. The repairs were made. After a short time we called back and told them there was an issue with opening the driverside door. The guy told us to give it time it would work out. Fast forward a little time and could no longer open the door! We returned to this location and tech looked at it and said it was the latch. He originally thought it was fixed the next day the same thing happened. We tried to.bring in the car the next day and was told we could not and they were going to order a new one and to bring it in the next day. Same day they sent text nessage confirming appt for 2pm and also confirmed part would be here. Day of repair arrived onsite only to be told part was not there and they dont know when its going to arrive. We called mutiple timed and were to keep appt and part would be there. I left work early and had to cancel an out of town business trip. I will never come do business with them and if asked by my clients i will let thwm know about this terrible experience read more

5/5 !! I was referred to this body shop through my insurance. I had been in a rear end accident. My rear bumper trunk lid had to be replaced and parts had to painted. Being that my car was black - I had a feeling that this may be a bit of a undertaking. A Gentleman by the name of Cedric was extremely helpful and very professional throughout the process. They were able to match the color dead on not any problem there. Yet there was a little bit of buffing and sanding that had to be done in order to make the finished product. After speaking with my insurance & Cedric, he reassured me that they would be able to return the vehicle to factory specifications. He kept me up-to-date and worked with my insurance to make sure I was not inconvenienced throughout the entire experience. They took care of me. I would not go back. They don't get that communication is key to good customer service. The main number goes to voicemail at least half the time during business hours. They assign you one person to handle your repair and all communications, but in my case he never offered his email, cell, or text contact so all I had was that main number and that lady does not know anything about the status of anything. She just sends a message to the non responsive guy. When I dropped the car off the initial person listened as I explained the work my car needed. But I never got the estimate. After finally reaching the front desk lady I find that I'm assigned some new guy. I leave a message requesting my quote from him. When he eventually calls he says the first guy never told him any of the details about my request. Days later, I finally get my quote and it's wrong, he added repairs to parts of the car not even damaged. I help him correct it and approve it. The next ten or so days was endless frustration leaving vms trying to get this guy to communicate and to get info about when my car will be done. The front desk lady said she was giving him the messages, he told me she was not. Then my car is finally ready and we agree on an appointment to pick it up. I get there, he can't find the keys to my car. He finally finds my car but I'm left there waiting 15 more minutes while he disappears again. He shows up and said he was 'doing the paperwork.' I had kind of thought he would have prepared ahead since we set an appointment. A day or two later he sends a me message begging for a 10 star rating on his great service when the survey comes Not sure all the causes for the poor customer service but I did not enjoy any of it. read more

My window busted as soon as I lowered it. Finding G&C Autobody on Google, I dropped in for a quote. Every other shop told me that I would have to wait a week, even my regular mechanic! One of the G&C mechanics told me I could park in front of the entrance for a moment, due to the safety of my car. Window being lowered all the way in Vallejo is NO BUENO, considering the area. The receptionist and everyone was kind and professional, said that the manager would be with me in a moment. Being a first time customer, I didn't know that the person who met with me was the General Manager (Chris May)! 'xD He asked to walk with him to take a look at the car. He was very kind and professional. He began to troubleshoot my door, and then STARTED TO WORK ON MY CAR! "WOW, I'm going to have the most expensive repair bill!" *cries in pennies* I thanked him for working on it. Chris had mentioned that he was strapped for time due to an important meeting, but he kept at it. Though he was late to his meeting by about 5-10 minutes, he ended up asking one of the other mechanics to help finish the job. As he began to walk away, telling me that he had to attend the meeting, he told me that it was ON THE HOUSE. I thought to myself "HOLY ****. BLESS UP FAM." I thanked him and the other mechanic, Austin. Both of them were kind and professional, getting the job done in under 30 minutes! This a true story of the horror that im going thru due to G&C & Gieco insurance company negligence on my vehicle. And this is how it goes: I was T-boned on my front driver right side at about 30mph on 3/17/2022. After the accident my car alignment was off and my front left suspension felt very rough and bumpy and would make a loud clanking noise when tire was turned to a certain angle. Also I began to hear a high hissing noise like the sound of a compressor. So once all the insurance paper work was handled it took a bout a month for parts to get in and then I brought it into G&C on 4/24/2022 to have it fixed. I told them to please check suspension specifically where I was T-boned at before they do any body work to it. So my car sat in the shop for a whole month. When I came to pick it up on 5/24/2022 I thought it was all safe to go. I really wasnt driving it after I got it out the shop, just in town errands cause gas prices are so high lol. On 7/8/2022 I took a trip to Suisun Ca and I started to hear that high pitch sound as I was driving on the freeway and I came back home and parked it. Next morning I was awoken by a call from my neighbor asking me was my tires on my drivers side flat. So I go outside to find my front drivers side where I was T-Boned at slammed to the ground as if something broke and gave out (thank GOD not on the freeway). I took pictures and videos to show what it looked like. I then immediately call my lawyer and they tell me to call gieco who is handling the vehicle damage. Gieco tells me to take it back to G&C. When the tow truck driver gets to my place, he takes pics and then when he gets in my car to drive it up on the flat bed he said my steering wheel was off and that was the first sign of damaged suspension. When I get to the shop the shop manager Cedric takes pics before it came off the tow truck. Cedric and I then go into the office and I ask him: "Did you all even look at my suspension?". His reply was my boss didnt want to pay for the diagnostic cause we don't do suspension or frame work here we send it to Toscalito Tire & Automotive. So I then reply well why didnt he even give me any option before just sending my car back on the road in a very unsafe condition? He couldnt give me and answer, so he told me dont worry shop work is gurentee for life and that it will be going to Toscalito the next morning on 7/12/2022. read more

HORRIBLE! I l took my 2013 Toyota Sienna for an insurance job and left it looking like crap! First of all I had a check engine light come one due to the gas cap being left off , There's over spray on the window moldings, tons of clear coat drip and debris, The clear coat on the door looks like the spray gun they used was clogged and left it looking like an orange peel with dirt on it, and lastly the headlights were stained from the dust in the body shop.
