Always delivers. With the bad taste I had after dropping by Montana's, Earls was refreshing. Similar quality of service to Earls in Toronto.

My husband I were told this would be a great place to go. It was super noisy when we walked up all the steps just to get to the restaurant, so we decided to sit outside. The view is really pretty. Our waitress was great, but it took quite a while for service. My tenderloin steak was expensive and was way overcooked. A bit disappointing for the amount of money we paid. read more

Ok, we went to Earls knowing exactly what we were going to get. Familiar food, standard service...the food was what we were looking for - tasty and familiar. The service was terrible. Our waiter was brash and unpleasant. He grabbed the glass out of my husband's hand to refill his iced tea. He didn't introduce himself, he didn't make eye contact, he did the absolute bare minimum a server could do. With the exception of refilling water glasses regularly, which I appreciate. No comment cards, no table touch by a manager, so therefore writing a review here is the only option. The server's name is Paco. Please Paco, take a little more pride in your work, make your guests feel welcome, make eye contact, be pleasant... We usually tip 20-25%, there is a reason you got 10%. Cheers... read more

I ordered the 9 oz angus steak and it was not what I expected. The medium rare steak was overcooked and tasted like it was from the freezer. The mash potato side was also cold. The edges of it were warm and when I stuck my fork into the middle it was cold. Very disappointed with my meal. The tables and chairs were also dirty. Do the staff not see dried up sauces stuck on the table and dropped food on the chairs?!?! The only positive thing about the restaurant was the view and the fact that you're in Jasper. Otherwise, stay away. I should have dined at A&W. At least the fast food would have been served hot and at a much better price. There is no value for what you pay for at Earl's. Had a hockey team of 10-year-olds, parents and other supporters for dinner Friday night; the tables were organized and blocked off to minimize intrusion on other diners; staff were great with the kids orders. For my group of seven, the young waiter Lachlan didn't miss a beat the whole evening... his personality and menu knowledge complemented the quality of the food and kudos to him for what no doubt was a very busy evening! On our recent visit to Jasper, we stopped at Earls for dinner and drinks. I had the Fish Tacos. I asked our server if I could have the Corn Tortillas instead of flour and he made it happen. My hubby had the Steel Head. There was a bit too much dill in the sauce, but other wise it was cooked very well. We had great service and and good food. We'd recommend it! read more

Walked in and walked right out, after the hostess walked my wife and I to the table I noticed the glass door leading to terrasse to be extremely filthy, kept walking to the table, cushions and table were very old and used and also looked dirty, turned me off. Haven't tried the food but if the first thing I see at a restaurant is filth I will not chance it with their food. read more

I would like to make a couple of complaints. We were in Earls, that is my husband, grandson and I, Sunday, August 27th at approximately 7:00 pm at the second booth from "Earls Girls" with a full view of the chefs working in the kitchen. 1. While waiting for our food to arrive I was watching the staff in the kitchen and to my disbelief observed one chef wiping his face, then his hair and then his back, inside his jacket and then "what" nothing bar attending to more food on the counter ... gross ... beyond gross!!! As with another staff member wiping his face, then wiping his hands in a cloth and then wiping the counter with it!! 2. My grandson's and my orders arrived, we had both ordered al fredo linguine, mine with prawns. I think his order had maybe a teaspoon of sauce and mine none!! Far too tired to complain after a long drive from Clearwater ... and not really needing any money remuneration ... I'm not complaining for that reason. Managers please make a note of these two items and have them corrected for future customers ... I was quite disappointed with Earls that evening and usually have a good time and meal when eating at Earls in Edmonton. read more

Surprisingly delicious given the variety in cuisines. The margaritas, the tacos and the eggs Florentine were all delicious.

We ate here this week. First the good. Service was prompt and friendly and our food was served fast. As always the atmosphere was fun and party like. Now the bad. The food was really mediocre, bordering on bad. The order of chicken wings was good but the burger that we ordered was was over cooked and lacked any flavor. I ordered the quesadilla which used to be a favorite and they came stuffed with bland cheese and what tasted like canned refried beans. The salsa was unimaginative. Overall I would give this a needs work on the menu. A lot of work! read more

Food was good, but as with many Jasper restaurants, not great and still pricey. They were having trouble keeping up with the demand during Heritage weekend. (ran out of salmon?!) Delicious and affordable Margheritas. Asian dishes were bathed in sauce. Service is upbeat and helpful. Upstairs deck is really really nice. We were very pleased with Earl's tonight. We were able to be seated right away, got a window view seat, and great service. I had the Mediterranean linguine - great flavor, perfect noodles, and right portion size. My wife had the salmon filet and she raved about it - which is unusual as it is hard to cook salmon well. It came with flavorful rice, green beans, and arugula salad. The ambiance was nice - we almost did not come due to a prior review about a sports bar atmosphere- while there are a few tv's they do not dominate the atmosphere. The chocolate toffee bread pudding might have been the bat dessert I've ever had. We enjoyed this place so much we went back a second night. The first night was for dessert and wine, the second for mains. We loved the Jeera Curry and the Bibimbap. The outdoor seating was fun for people watching. read more

This is an overrated establishment for sure. Our evening started out with the bartender forgetting to put vermouth in the Manhattan. Our server seemed pissed off that he had to work. With respect to the menu, I think they are trying to do too much and very little of it well. The coconut shrimp and vegetarian burger were good. Good crust on both and good flavor. The chicken tacos were terrible - just some pulled chicken with hot sauce. The scallop pasta had like 2 scallops and the sauce was meh. Definite lack of attention to detail for the kind of prices they are charging. Save your $$$ and go to Tekarra Restaurant. read more

The tacos my son ordered left much to be desired as far as tacos go. The Korean beef I ordered was super salty. Brunch menu is limited but tasty. Service is good. Great view of mountains. Dined in winter but patio area would be lovely in summer. A bit slow to get our meal but the server was very attentive on drinks and nothing too long that the view didn't make up for. Eggs Benedict and house made lemonade both lovely. read more

We ordered two bowls of soup and a Caesar salad, it took over an hour to get our food. The soup while good was luke warm, the salad was horrible warm wilted lettuce with what tasted like oil that had been used to fry fish in on it. I will never go back and will likely avoid all earl places in future it was that bad. read more

I normally don't eat at chain restaurants while on vacation however, this restaurant is a Canadian chain...there are none on the east coast in US...The food was very good, nice sized portions...I had the chicken wonton rice bowl...very good, but not cooked hot...my meal was luke warm...server was friendly but slow...Jasper Brewery (honey bear) beer was very good...restaurant has great views of Rocky Mountains. read more

Warm and friendly place although it was a bit loud. Natasha, out server was excellent and very knowledgable. She created a memorable dining experience. The starter was huge was very tasty. The salmon was among the best I've had in a restaurant. The Thai veg was about average and a bit light on the veg. Both desserts were freaking awesome. Went to earls for a nice family dinner ordered the most expensive steaks, they were served luke warm and extremely under cooked and when we sent them back which we NEVER do the 3 men behind in the kitchen had multiple ignorant comments about us and gave our waitress a hard time for being asked to cook them longer, we were sitting right I front and heard everything not only was this incredibly unprofessional you boys should learn how to Cook a proper steak and they won't be sent back, But besides the childish men cooking the steaks the service was amazing and so were our drinks keep up the good work girls! read more
