Very cute and unique brunch place! This southern-style brunch restaurant have some good hearty breakfast with a reasonable price and good customer service. That's all I can ask for a good restaurant. We had Traveler's Special and Country Omelette and they were both great! Country Omelette is little on the heavy side and with Traveler's Special, you can have their pancakes, eggs, and a choice of meat. I got to choose between bacons and sausage links/patties. I got the sausage patties and it was the best sausage patties I've ever had. Sausage patties from some other breakfast place can be very salty and greasy but their patties were meaty and not so salty. They also have a orange juicer at the bar where the machine squeezes fresh oranges so you can have a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice. This is a Northville institution, family friendly, fast and delicious! The owners are great as is the staff.

This place is overrated. It is so small and the parking is very limited. There is almost always a wait to get a table. The service is good and fast. They have fresh squeezed OJ which is nice. The food is just average breakfast food. Nothing special or unique. The best thing I ever had there was a daily special a few years ago. It was an omelet with veggies, avocado and cheese if my memory is correct. Now if that was on the menu I would be a regular customer. read more

First Timer's Review I came on a Saturday and ordered a Hobo Skillet. I was first hesitant on it because these skillet orders from other restaurants can come with large cut up potatoes. In fact, the potatoes weren't large for the Hobo Skillet, but they came out finely shredded and crispy which I really loved. Within this order, they combined the finely shredded potatoes with corn beef which was under the egg whites. I ate the whole thing. It was delicious. Aside of the order, staff service was great. Order time to delivery of food took 10 minutes. Ambiance was okay, but I am not complaining about it. Overall, I will come back! read more

My boyfriend and I went here after finding it on Yelp and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, everything was great. The staff was super friendly and our waitress(I can't remember her name) was awesome! We ordered crepes with apples, fresh fruit, and berries to share and they were awesome. The best skillet I've ever had, I keep coming back even tho I've found plastic in my food, I've seen buses handle silverware by the prongs, had hair in my food, and seen the cooks in the back handle ready to eat food with bare hands. This is absolutely, hands down my husband's and my favorite breakfast spot. It's homey and simple, but they cook a good breakfast. They are also happy to modify food orders to suite your taste buds. Sub-par service: My friend asked for coffee; the waitress forgot to bring it. When she requested coffee a second time, the waitress acted like it was the first time she had heard the request. When I asked if the oatmeal came with milk, the waitress said yes. When my oatmeal arrived (gelatinous and overcooked), there was no milk, and I had to ask for it. Once our food was delivered, the waitress never returned to check on us. Our waters weren't refilled. When we went up to pay, they didn't ask "how was everything?" or thank us for coming. We live in Northville and we have lots of local places for breakfast. The skillet breakfast is wonderful, we actually crave them at times. The servers are friendly and it's definitely a small place, with lots of town people regulars. There is something about them placing a silicone mat down for each skillet treasure, that leaves you looking forward to what will soon be delivered to your table. My favorite is the skillet with, bacon, cheese, onion, hash browns, topped with over easy eggs. read more

Come here often as it's local and usually a quick bite to eat, even if there is a wait to get in, there usually is. They have daily specials - see the board before you sit down. The waitstaff is very attentive and quick and always have a smiling face. The food is plentiful and offer enough to eat. I will say one suggestion for the biscuit gravy, not sure what's in there, but perhaps use less grease/oil from the sausage, as it is not agreeable to my stomach every time I order. Anything you order is good. Refills of coffee coming around all the time or hot water if you have tea or others. They are very attentive and keep the tables moving as they close at 2pm! The Early Bird has a diverse menu including some lunch items. Just change the biscuit gravy which is great tasting, but has some ingredient that needs to go. I recommend this great breakfast/lunch spot. Will try the gravy again soon and change rating to 5 if they remove the grease or butter or whatever it is. No photos unfortunately as it's usually packed busy with patrons. Food is good and usually get to leave with a small carry out for later or leave with a belly that stays full all day. read more

I enjoyed my greek omelet, hashbrowns and toast. The rye was recommended to me and it was quite good (I believe from a local bakery). The coffee was also pretty good, definitely a cut above coney island coffee. The environment was relaxing, not too cramped and not too open. I dinged it for no free wifi which was important to me but I was able to get by on my phone. This is the best place in town to get Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice...it is definitely worth coming to Northville. After wandering around Northville and being curious, my husband and I decided to try this breakfast place. Even though it gets busy as all get out, we will still wait for a table. The food here is so delicious and fresh! The service is polite and prompt with how crazy busy it is. My wife enjoyed her corned beef hash. My daughters pancakes were cold. My BLT was ok. Our bacon tasted like it was microwaved. The biggest problem was the service. Our waitress paid more attention to her coworkers then she did our table. This is a small place and I could hear the entire conversation. Went here on a Sunday morning. Crowded, but not packed. Easy-going atmosphere and friendly staff. Coffee was a bit on the weak side for my taste, but orange juice was awesome. Our table got eggs benedict, huevos rancheros skillet, and pancakes. Eggs and pancakes were 4 stars, while the huevos were a bit too heavy on the beans (and too light on the cheese & salsa), so I'd give it 2-3 stars.
