The cook greeted me walking in and walking out but the lady on the front register was rude and it's the kind of rude that she's oblivious to, because I can tell no one ever told her about herself. I have been driving by this place for years. We finally stopped in. It has a surprisingly diverse menu for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. It's comfortable and clean inside as well. My daughter got the Nutella and Banana Crepes. There was a bit of a weird taste this time to the crepes. Like it had been cooked with something else maybe. She had them during our last visit and they were fine. So just a one time thing. The filling tasted good. She ended up ordering the Strawberry Waffle instead which she really enjoyed. I ordered the Banana and Nutella Pancake. I should've got a half order. A full order was way too much. They were very good. The only downside is that there is an up charge if you pay with a credit card. I don't really like that as it should be the cost of doing business. I reduced the number of stars for that. read more

Thursday morning at 9am, staff should have no problem being attentive. Our server Bree was nothing of the sort. After getting our order and dropping off food we were left to sit without her anywhere noticeable in the restaurant for 20 mins. Waiting for her to show up to get the dry toast corrected. When she did finally show up she rushed away to grab the bill ignoring us completely. I mention that the toast was made wrong to which she replied of yeah, grabbed the plate and simply walked away. My new favorite place for crepes! I love crepes and have been trying crepes everywhere I find them on a restaurant menu and prime grill is my new favorite place. They have many sweet varieties as well as l savory ones. My favorite is the cottage cheese crepes, which I can't find anywhere else but is so so good and prime grill perfects it! Crispy outside but fluffy inside and big but not overly big. Just perfect :) Staffs are super nice and price is very reasonable too. Very cozy and pleasant place for a low key weekend lunch. I stopped in for breakfast and tried the crepes that everyone was raving about on Yelp. There was a huge selection and I went with strawberry. The crepes were good and so was the filling, which had slices of strawberry in it. I also got a hot chocolate, but I would go with a juice or tea next time (basic hot chocolate, like for a child's palate, and I think it was $3). The staff was friendly and patient, as I waited for someone to arrive and then we stayed for a bit after eating. Pricing seemed good compared to the volume of food. Love this little mom and pop shop. The waitresses know their regulars and are always jumping in to help one another, making the service great! The food is better than all of the larger chains in the area. Typically one of the regulars for us, burgers are better than five guys and MUCH cheaper. Haven't had a bad meal here yet. read more

Large diner style menu, in particular the breakfast choices are very broad. Three waitresses were there the morning I visited, they were fast. I really liked the food, good prices. Great breakfast spot! I stopped in on a Saturday morning 10 mins after they opened and I was the only one there. The wait staff was extremely attentive and kind. I had a traditional breakfast, and it was really good. The bacon was slightly overdone, but that is my only complaint. They asked if I wanted onions and peppers in my hash browns, which was nice. Add in delicious food, strong coffee and excellent customer service - great waitresses, but I've also been heartily greeted by the cook every time I walk through the door - and Prime Grill is a winner. My go to here is the pancakes. Their biscuits and gravy are good too. Omelets are large. They know how to do crispy bacon. Coffee is refilled regularly. They tick all the boxes. We have not eaten lunch there, but a consistently fine bfast tells me it would be good too. Booths, tables and counter seating. We're from out of town and needed a place to sit and eat. The Prime Grill popped up on my Yelp search and I'm so glad it did. The reviews I read turned out to be spot on and nailed it. M wife had the coney special and I tried the Swedish Meatballs, both choices were excellent and very flavorful. The vegetable soup was one of the best I've ever had. But the Fries, they kicked Ass!!! I drive by this place every morning on my way to work, and today I was able to actually stop in and try it. The restaurant gives off the perfect classic diner vibe. Wait staff was superb! While we had one actual server, all 3 servers were seen helping one another out, refilling drinks checking in, etc. It was a great "homey" atmosphere. I ordered the Monte Cristo French toast and it was cooked perfectly. The French fries were also perfectly crispy, and not drenched in oil and salt. The drinks never got below a third of the way down before being refilled. The prices were not only reasonable, but if you can make it during their "special" hours, they can't be beat! Their corned beef in any form is incredibly good for such a low-priced restaurant! I've enjoyed it in a delicious omelette with Swiss cheese, and the Ruben sandwich is likewise amazing. I was never a big fan of corned beef until I came here...that in itself tells you something about this place. I have never visited a real Jewish deli with their fabled corned beef, so I don't have a good comparison except my own taste buds. I'm going to trust the buds, however! The quality here stands out. The owners (who have been on hand all 4 times I have eaten there) and wait staff, are always friendly and efficient. As soon as I drive up to the restaurant I was slightly discouraged by it's location; (on Schoolcraft closer to Merriman by the entrance to 96 East), but when I walked in it it was surprisingly spacious, but also very specific in how it used the space to accentuate the atmosphere of the restaurant.
