Arrived on a Wed am about 9:30 am. No waiting for a table. Wait staff were super friendly. I ordered a Western Omelette served on a English Muffin. How'd they do that? They tucked in the edges. It tasted like an omelette. The pressure needed to bite through the muffin turned it into potential mess. But it worked out. Prices were good, a friendly place. Worth going back to

Stopped in on my way outta town for lunch. My 1st time visiting and plan to return for breakfast when I'm back in MB! This is a cute lil diner that sits on the corner of a strip mall. I arrived around 12n on Monday Oct 10th. It was not busy at all, only a few other guests enjoying their meals. I got a table immediately and the server was about 3 steps behind me as I sat down. I cannot recall her name but she was friendly and pleasant! Thoroughly enjoyed my juicy cheddar bacon cheeseburger, hot crispy seasoned fries and deliciously made sweet tea! The restaurant was clean as well as the restroom! I definitely recommend giving them a try!

We stopped by here to grab a late brunch. The staff were very friendly. We got seated at a booth and the food came quite quickly. We got a Crab Cake Benedict and a Breakfast Skillet. I also got a hot chocolate to drink. The Benedict was good. The breakfast skillet was ok nothing fancy. I also loved the hot chocolate. read more

I love the acquaintance of this diner. I was greeted upon seating. I had to wait a couple of minutes, but that was OK because I felt welcomed. The servers was good. The food was good. I only wanted a light bite, but I ended up with more than I needed it. The French toast, (which seems like it was Texas sized) was so good. I had enough for two meals. I will definitely return. read more

I ordered French Toast, Home Fries and Bacon, and I picked it up. My potatoes were crispy and flavorful, bacon was crispy and hot and my French Toast was delicious and still hot. I would definitely recommend the Early Riser Diner as my breakfast was so good. And a big plus, as most places forget, I received ketchup, syrup, napkins and utensils! read more

Called in a to-go order. Arrived at the restaurant 10 min later and paid. Then sat for 55 minutes with zero interaction from any waitstaff. Watched several tables get sat, order, eat and leave all while I just sT idle. At the 60 minute mark, I had the waitress CXL the order and refund. Never even got a "sorry about that". I didn't realize that eggs and hashbrowns would be such an ordeal.....uunnlleesss they just don't have their act together and never input the order. read more

Interesting little diner. Modern place with a good variety for breakfast. You will get plenty of food. Most seats were full on the Saturday we were there. Pricing was reasonable. Coffee was good. Service was quick. We had breakfast combo's of eggs and French toast. The French toast was nice and thick..quite good. String potatoes were excellent. Clean diner. Been wanting to stop here for awhile as it's always so busy! Stopped in a little after noon and definitely give the food 5 stars- omelette was huge and packed with toppings. My wife was happy with her food, mine not so much. All of the food was a fail except for the eggs which were excellent. Server was very nice but seemed overwhelmed. Forgot a few items and never checked back on us which would have resolved all issues. read more

We are definitely breakfast folks and love small, local diners. I'm actually not sure if Early Riser Diner is a chain, but if they are they are just like a small local place. The service is excellent and they were COVID compliant when we were there for breakfast. I had Beef Hash and Eggs over easy with grits. My wife had scrambled eggs, sausage links and home fries. I can't say enough about the hash. It was obviously homemade and had that fantastic, slightly sour taste. It was perfect. The grits were typical but good and if you have fresh eggs that are cooked correctly (which these were), it's hard to screw them up. My wife enjoyed her breakfast as well. This is going to be our go to breakfast spot in Myrtle Beach when we are there. read more

The food was good nothing special and the restaurant was pretty cute inside but the service was dreadful we got a new server so she's still figuring out everything and if she does a few things wrong that's understandable but our server Becky would not stop talking over explaining everything made everything a bigger deal then needed she needs to shut up and just listen I swear she will be fired by the end of the week we walked in at 10am ordered at 10:15 we didn't get our food till 12 because they had a shortage on everything it took our server 30 mins to bring us the bill because she was to busy talking and because how much she was talking she neglected some tables more than others so one table walked out without paying! We settled on the Aspen family meal which consisted of 2 meats and 4 sides. We chose smothered pork tenderloin and fried chicken along with mac 'n cheese, collard greens, fried okra and candied yams. Fried chicken was awesome, crispy, with an assortment of dark and white meat pieces. We were looking for a knife because of the pork tenderloin and realized you don't need it. It was that tender. You could cut it with a fork and it too was awesome. Everyone raved about all the side items except the mac & cheese it was a bit on the bland side so it was not our favorite. There was no need for a refill of any of the food. The first round was very ample sized and everyone left very satisfied. And if I have a bit of feedback, our waiter was not attentive unlike the waitress serving the tables in our same area. He was didn't bother to come back and see if we needed a refill on any of the drinks or the food. The only disappointing thing was they no longer offer you a small sample size dessert to finish up your meal. It's been a while since I've dined here so I'm not sure how long that change has been in place. However, we understand the food industry continues to be impacted by the current economy. Will say the area, the location, the draw and the atmosphere is fantastic, but not the food. Our family left disappointed by the overall quality of the meal, particularly given the establishment's reputation and the high price point. The cost for 4 people exceeded our expectations an amount that felt disproportionate to the overall experience provided. The service was adequate. Our waitress was courteous, but could have kept up on our drink refills. The food fell significantly short of our heightened anticipation. Dishes arrived at the table within minutes of ordering, far quicker than would be consistent with individual dish preparations. This is served family style with options of your main courses and sides. The okra was good, but had some very hard pieces. I bit down on one that was so hard it could have broken a tooth. Green beans were decent, but extremely salty. The creamed potatoes were the best thing in my opinion and we were able to be served both the white & brown gravy's. The fried chicken was so dry and uneatable, with extremely minimal flavor and texture that did not meet standard expectations for Southern-style preparation. We realized after the fact: you can request the chicken parts. The macaroni & cheese tasted mushy offering little depth of homemade character. The biscuits were also very dry. They looked great, but tasted bland. The fried fish & tartar sauce was probably the most memorable dish. However, not everyone in our party had it because they do not like it. There's other options for "main" choices, but you'll have to compromise as a group. You'll have to do the same as far as the sides too! There are many more options within this great broad-walk complex. That said, I would suggest shopping in the gift store located in the downstairs of the building, as there are lots of merchandise that represents Paula Deen far better than her eatery. * If you happen to be a Food Network FAN (like I am). To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? I'm gluten free and they were able to accommodate with multiple multiple options. The menu had stars next to all the options they could make gluten free and it was SO NICE to have so many options. Even gf breaded chicken parm! I ended up trying the chicken fiorentina, which was excellent but am hopeful I can try the parm some day. Definitely go and meet them and have yourself a GREAT Italian dinner!!

My Boyfriend and I frequent this wonderful restaurant. The staff are always pleasant and attentive. The food is fresh and out in a timely manner. We're big on breakfast food and to find a place that we both enjoy enough to return for almost every Sunday breakfast is definitely deserving of more than 5 stars. To add to that my partner is a very picky eater but never has a negative word for their food. Their Strawberry stuffed french toast is the best i've ever had! Fresh strawberries and enough to fill you up all in it's own. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone who hasn't been! read more

Took over Pane Vine restaurant and it is a very nice place and nice change of pace from the franchises and taverns in the area. Fast, friendly service and the food was delicious. Sue recommended the Reuben so I tried that except I don't like rye bread. Sue suggested putting it on Texas toast and it was delicious. Husband had cheddar, bacon, BBQ burger. I had a bit and it was so good. The bread is fresh, the French fries were warm and crispy. If you are a sweet tea drinker this place has great sweet tea! Coffee is good as well! We will be back! Been trying to find a great breakfast place in the Caroline Forest area. Well, the god's are with me but I found a place so close to home, literlly. Early Riser diner is the place to go. We are from Mass and been going to a breakfast place in our home town and it was the best around. Came into the Early Riser diner yesterday and who do you think owns the place, the couple that ran our diner back home. Great food and great people to serve you.
