First off, we are very happy with the overall results. We had close to 1,700 square feet of turf installed. The price was competitive, the promotion discount and additional discount for the size of project helped. The crew who came to do the work did an impressive job. You could tell that they knew what they were doing. Things moved very quickly throughout the day and they were here from morning to sunset. We chose the RhinoTurf Sierra Ultra turf and it looks great. The yard looks natural. It has just enough brown in it, blade height variation, and blade shape. The "wave" technique they use for aligning turf sections does a really good job of hiding the seams. I run by many houses in my area with synthetic turf and see all the mistakes that others do and we don't have. While things came out well, not everything went perfectly smooth. Some things seemed to have gotten miscommunicated from Seth to the workers. Fortunately, I was working from home so I was able to correct before it would be too late. I would recommend that at the start of an installation that you review, in detail, all the work that will be done. Bottom line, I would recommend EarthDesign if you are looking to have synthetic turf installed. read more

I had a great experience from start to finish with Earth Design. The day I requested a quote Jim Prete came out to measure my backyard and show me samples. I had an estimate in my email by that evening! Communication was great and I was able to get all of my follow up questions answered easily via text. After getting a few quotes I decided to go with Earth Design and Jim got a crew on the job quickly. My small back yard (~450 sq ft) was done in 1 day and looks fantastic! He was always professional, no pressure, answered our questions, and just did an outstanding job. The turf looks amazing. We replaced dead grass and we were worried the turf would get too hot. So we asked if he would reposition the sprinklers so we could easily turn them on and cool the turf. He did just that and even put in new heads so it gets the best coverage.
