Extremely Unprofessional- Poor Workmanship and Zero Accountability I hired Vision Turf & Pavers in 2022 to install over 2,000 sq. ft. of turf, believing I was choosing a reputable company. Unfortunately, that trust was completely misplaced. Since the initial installation, there were multiple defects that needed attention. While I tried to get them to return and correct the issues, communication felt like I was begging. Fast forward to now--those problems have only gotten worse. Since November of last year, I've reached out dozens of times regarding the warranty and to request repairs. Not a single response. No calls, no text, nothing. What's most frustrating is the feeling of being completely taken advantage of after they took over $21K. We had a great experience with Vision during the sales and building process. The team was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with early on. They built a beautiful wall as part of our project, and we were initially very pleased. However, once the concrete work was completed and dried, it became clear that the quality was quite aweful. Out of the three concrete pads in our project, two were poorly done. I had specifically asked for all pads to be level, as they were intended for an outdoor kitchen and sitting areas. Unfortunately, one pad now causes water to pool against the foundation of my home--a serious issue. Another pad, which supports our outdoor kitchen, has a noticeable 4-inch height difference from one side of the counter to the other. It's especially obvious when placing chairs at the counter, which now looks and feels uneven. Additionally, the team never came back to finish two caps on the ends of the wall--despite repeated follow-ups. We paid Vision $24,000 for this work. Since then, I've called, texted, and even reached out to the sales rep, who I've learned no longer works with the company. I've received no response from the owner or anyone else at the company. I'm still hopeful for a resolution and would welcome the opportunity to update this review if Vision reaches out and addresses these issues. Please return my calls. read more

I wish I would have never went with this company. Hopefully they have improved since they installed turf in my backyard about two years ago. I have weeds coming up in the middle of the yard that I have to pick up. I remember repeatedly calling an individual by the name of Jason who worked or still works for the company for him to come to my house because there was an over pouring of sand that I told him about and he never came thru. I even mentioned it to Kyle who I believe is the owner and still nothing was done about it. I could go on about his employees who did the work but I won't. Vision Turf and Pavers did an excellent job on our project. They showed up when they said they would with the appropriate crew. They prepared the area, installed bender board and laid the turf. We also had them include a rock border which really compliments the turf. They put mulch around the existing trees and installed low voltage lighting and a new mailbox which further enhanced the complete project. The staff was knowledgeable, everyone had their job to do and did it well. They were nice, polite and caring about the project. They checked in regularly to ensure our approval of the work. They worked with us when we had minor tweaks along the way. They left the work area clean each night and cleaned up the area when the job was completed. They were not the cheapest bid, but they had all the appropriate licenses and insurance which was important to us. I would definitely recommend Vision Turf and Pavers. read more

The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because they did a great job on our turf. We got an estimate from Rocky, and he really sold us on the quality of this company. After getting a few cheaper estimates, we ultimately decided to go with Vision Turf. Although more pricey, we were confident that we would get a quality job. When our concrete was originally done it dried blotchy, so our project manager suggested we stain it. Not wanting to start the project over again, we agreed. After staining was finished we started noticing major pooling of water in different areas. After waiting a few weeks they finally came out and re did the parts of the patio that had an issue. However, during the re pouring of concrete our existing concrete that they had originally done was damaged with concrete splatter. In addition to that, the back of our home, our back door slider, and our vinyl fence was all covered in concrete splatter. We again brought the issue up to Jason, and were assured that a simple power wash would fix it. So to finish the job, they came out once again and stained the new concrete. Our final result was a few sections of nicely stained concrete, with a majority of it looking terrible. As well as the back of our home and fence being permanently ruined with concrete splatter. We again contacted Jason, asking for it to be resolved, with no response. At this point we were well into November with a job that was supposed to be done in the first week of October. So we gave up. I will say, they provided us with free rocks after complaining about the inconvenience. However, we did not receive the quality we were promised for a $17,000 job, without even the decency of a text back. read more

So I decided to take the plunge and install artificial grass in my backyard. First, if you have dogs, which I do, they will destroy your grass. Second, if you don't mind spending like $200 a month, then your grass will die! So needless to say, my grass looked like crap for a long time! But this year, it was the mosquitoes. They live everywhere that there's a drop of water, and they ate us alive. I interviewed 5 companies to make sure not only did I get the right company, but I got the right deal. A representative named Scott came out from Vision Turf and was extremely knowledgeable. I never knew there was so much involved with installing artificial grass. Scott did ask for the business but was not pushy, which I appreciated. Since he was my last estimate, I knew what my budget was. Vision Turf gave me a very good deal, they were not the cheapest or more expensive, in fact right in the middle. Their schedule was busy so we waited about 3 weeks. The crew showed up on time and we're all very professional. It's was hot and they powered through the day like a machine. And by 6pm we have a brand new backyard! It's a complete transformation! The color is perfect, hard to tell that's it's not real. The dogs love it and no more mud and dirt tracking into the house! And as far as the bugs, it's like they disappeared. I cannot say enough about this company. Their professionalism, pricing, and work ethic can't be beat. I had four estimates for turf for my backyard. I'd done research beforehand about ballpark figures. Every estimate fell in that range. Vision was the last company to provide an estimate. My sights were already set on another company because #3 blew 1 & 2 out of the water, but then Kyle showed up and there was no question that this was the company. Vision's estimate was within range, their availability was a tiny bit sooner, and their completion time was a tiny bit less, but their Yelp reviews--and more importantly Kyle's whole aura--absolutely launched them into front runner position. That's it, right? Nope. A surprise about 10 days later: "we're coming tomorrow to measure for the order." That process took maybe 30 mins. Measured. Took pics. Took video to share with the installation crew. Left. "Okay, we'll order. We're still set for 5/23." Then another surprise from Atlanta just days after their final measurements: "installation date can be moved up. Is that okay?" YES! "Okay we can be there tomorrow at 7:30a..." (she also provided other availability dates). YES, TOMORROW! That's it, right? Nope. The icing on the cake: The first guy rolls up the next morning 15 minutes early, then a truck, then another truck. Then the 4th guy. They immediately get to work. Meanwhile, my neighbor across the street is having her roof torn off and her house tented for pests by two professional companies. Day 1: This crew has done more than I imagined, but it's been a long day and they'll return tomorrow. Day 2: They're punctual yet again. They start immediately. Every one of them is working nonstop. As I mentioned, there's roof and pest work is going on across the street, but who's getting all the attention? THESE GUYS. VISION. Their trucks don't even have logos (suggestion: Magnets. People are noticing how badass you guys are!) They never stopped moving. A neighbor came over to comment on their work ethic, get a closer look at their work, and ask for their card. I really cannot say enough about this company. Quality work at a fair price. I recommend Vision Turf & Pavers! Scott showed up within days after I reached out to take a look at my property, and he was able to give me an estimate on the spot. The breakdown he sent through was very thorough, and detailed all the steps that Vision would take to ensure quality work. (Compared to Vision, the other contractors I spoke to weren't nearly as detailed or well-prepared.) I was scheduled for two weeks out, and the turf crew showed up on time exactly 13 days after I signed the contract. The entire process was relatively painless for a newbie like me. My backyard is about 1,000 sq ft. They dug up all the overgrown vegetation & weeds, poured in & compacted a few inches of road base, laid down the turf and rolled in the infill all within 2 days' time. They did a great job with the clean-up as well. The team was thorough with their work. As with any contractor team in SoCal, the crew spoke mostly Spanish, and there were a few moments where I had trouble communicating my questions and concerns. Benson was quick to step in at those moments, and I didn't have any trouble getting in touch and voicing my concerns whatsoever, which I'm grateful for! (Google Translate also helped.) My consultation and contract were done by Scott in December in 2021. He was very kind and did his best to answer all my questions; however, he messed up my contract multiple times stating his software had a glitch. Some were mistakes (extra charges) I caught and would have never been fixed if I had not said anything. We did multiple revisions before it was finalized. It was slightly frustrating, but I tried to be understanding and was glad when we finally came to an agreement. I was told by the office a possible start date of the project (depending on the weather - understandable), and as that day approached, I kept trying to call the office to confirm, but there was no response. That particular day no one showed up. I figured they would eventually call me back. A week later (first week of January 2022), a crew of men showed up to my place at 7 am, luckily, I had the day off. I woke up to 15 missed calls and my doorbell ringing nonstop. I was super surprised and confused. I told them no one told me you guys were coming today. I had to adjust my schedule for the next coming days to accommodate their poor communication. When the project started, I had to have my contract revised again because they said there were unexpected expenses due to the depth of my cement and the need for a pipe, which I understand. An extra $1500 was charged. I voiced my concerns about how my contract had been revised so many times and the unexpected visit, and I was told by Scott and his manager that I would have my cement sealant included free of charge for all the inconveniences. I remember distinctly repeating it back at the end of our conversation that I will be getting the sealant and they said yes. My mistake was not making sure I got that in writing. I took their word for it. The workers were kind and efficient. It took approximately 4 days to finish. The person in charge of the yard work told me to talk to him directly if I ever had any issues or concerns. He warned me that it takes time to dry and to be patient. Close to 2 months later my cement appeared to be darker in some areas and lighter in others all throughout. I also had noticeable scratches and scrapes throughout (even a male boot footprint). I texted him frequently regarding my concerns and then he agreed to come out for an assessment. When he visited, he stated that I needed to wait longer because it needs more sun. He also said it has to dry before we place the sealant on. I said what about all the marks? He then told me, to just call the office directly and have them deal with my concerns. I don't know why he told me to direct all my concerns to him in the first place. I called Atlanta that same day and sent her photos. She said she would have Benson come out to take a look. After several times of trying to contact her and arrange a meeting, I was finally able to get Benson to come to my place a MONTH later. He said he would need to talk with his team to see how they can fix it. It took another MONTH for him to finally send someone out. The only reason they finally agreed to fix it is because I kept calling and calling. I really felt like I was being ignored. They ended up adding a thin top layer of cement. It wasn't the best cover-up as some of the cement splashed onto my decorative rocks and fence and permanently dried, but it was way better than how it looked before. I called the office and asked about the sealant that was promised to me and he stated he didn't recall such thing. He thought I was lying about it. It takes a lot for me to get upset, but with how my entire customer service and experience had gone, I was extremely unhappy with his response. He made it seem like I was the one trying to take advantage of him, which is absurd and far from the truth. I explained to him the whole reason I got my yard done was for my 2 dogs. I got pet turf and my cement redone. I wanted the sealant to protect urine from ruining my new cement. I was willing to pay for it in the beginning, but Scott told me several times I would get it free of charge for the inconveniences. I requested that Scott be included in our conversation, but he then said that he had fired Scott and that was not possible. I spent close to $12,000 on this project and I was very disappointed with how I was treated. Benson said he would see what he could do... I didn't believe him. A month later he still hasn't called me back. I ended up having another company place the sealant for me. I've accepted that doesn't care about his customer's satisfaction. Overall, this company is disorganized and has poor communication. My yard work is descent, not terrible, but if you want to avoid a headache from poor customer service, go with a different company. read more

We were super impressed with their work so we decided to reach out for a consultation. Their sales person Clarence helped us with a dope design and we made it happen right then and there. But once we ironed out the details and work began, visions team finished exactly within the time Clarence said they would, which is 2 weeks. This project was completed in December 2021. We have two golden retrievers and often dog sit for our son who has a large dog as well. We went through two rounds of sod.
