I DEFINITELY CANNOT RECOMMEND PREMIER BUILDERS TO ANYONE! THIS HAS TO BE THE MOST UNPLEASANT AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD DEALING WITH A BUSINESS/OWNER. TLDR: I signed a contract for a project. Owner requested a deposit that was well above the max limit (10% of project cost or $1000, whichever is the least). I provided a deposit not knowing any of this. I terminated the agreement well before the owner and company set foot on my property. I repeat, NO WORK WAS ACTUALLY DONE! I requested a full refund based on agreements made through emails. Owner can't be bothered and hardly responds unless you escalate things to BBB, CSLB, or through Bond Insurance Claims. AND here we are today... On paper (yelp profile and company website) the owner is all lip service: "Built with integrity, high standards - 100 percent satisfaction guaranteed!" GTFOH with that! When he isn't busy posting personal IG stories of him getting surgery, covid, meal preps, or OOTD on his company's IG account, then he'll make some effort to mansplain how customer service works and how his non-registered salesman is providing me an education lesson of some sort. The owner really wanted me to believe he was also charging me for DESIGN WORK! TF, really? I provided my own illustration and design with my own design software. I provided annotations and inspo images to the non-registered salesman. The project was based off of my actual design work that I provided. AND you're going to say you provided me with a design? If anything, it was collaborative where I provided a design and ideas and your team fetched and updated quotes, BUT oh yah, you guys are the educators. Bruh, like I get that it's an inconvenience to you that I'm actually doing my own homework comparing apples to apples and oranges to oranges. I get that less questions are better for you. Say less, right? All I'm trying to say is, if you want to charge me for "customer service" and "education lessons", state it upfront in your contract and not after everything is signed. No one on your side has bothered to explain or include verbiage in the agreement in regards to: - Missing notice regarding the CSLB - Missing notice of 3-5 Day Right to Cancel (or any cancellation for that matter) - Missing notice regarding general liability insurance. - Exceeding downpayment of $1,000 or 10% of project, whichever is least To all the potential clients or any consumers for that matter, be sure to DYOR! IMHO, you can DYOR at any stage of the process. Make sure to document, document, document!!! Keep records of everything. Create a timeline of events when planning a project with any company. You, as a consumer, have the right to question anything and have the right to keep other options open, unless stated in contract. If they have the right to refuse service, then you should have the right to terminate an agreement if no cancellation policy is explained or written in the contract. Good Riddance! read more

I don't like writing negative reviews but this one is a must. I hired Premier Builders for a full landscaping project on my first ever home based on their positive reviews on Yelp and the fact that their bid was lower than a few other ones I had received . At first everything went smooth. Their crew showed up daily and in full force. Then things went downhill from there. Their crew started diminishing, more problems started popping up regarding finishes, and additional costs were added. A project that was supposed to have been done in 2 months took over 4 months. I complained countless times about items that needed to be completed but Steve (the project manager) kept giving absurd excuses and pressuring me to make the final payment reassuring me that any final finishes would be handled under their warranty. Of course that never happened. They don't even have a warranty department! No one ever answers calls. The irrigation system they installed is not zoned properly. I have spent thousands of dollars replacing plants that are dying because some areas get too much water while others are dry. We are the only house on the entire street with dying plants and trees! It's embarrassing! They installed a water fountain that is so loud that i never use it. The stucco they did around the seat walls keeps peeling off and is patchy. They touched it up but it still isn't right. Steve kept saying it will get fixed on its own. Which of course didn't. The LED lighting around the fire pit is faulty and not working. It's stuck on one color. They installed a hood vent for the BBQ area which was not done to proper size so anytime I would use the bbq there would be so much smoke that it was impossible to breath. They eventually fixed it but not until I threatened to sue them. I reached to Brayn Ha (the owner) countless times. With pictures and detailed explanations of everything that I was unhappy with. He couldn't care less. He Didn't respond once! It's so sad coming from someone who pretends to put customers first. If you hire a company and spend over $100k for landscaping on your first ever home you expect the work to be done right. And for the owner of a company to not care the slightest bit about valid concerns from his clients that shows what type of person Bryan is and what kind of work his company considers quality. They are great at posting pictures of completed projects. But i wonder each time I look at those pictures how soon will everything fall apart. What can i say. Premier builders helped me from start to end. I am a first time business owner and needed to do some construction at my shop to meet city + state requirements. As some may know, this could contradict each other's rules and regulations. Daniel Try was in charge of my project. What made me decide to go with Premier was that i wanted them to come and check out the property prior to signing the lease. The leasing agent had said the property was 1400 sqft, Daniel came in and measured the place and found out that the property was not as stated in the lease and was only 1120 sqft. This saved me $7,500 in overhead a year! Daniel had helped me with all questions i had. I was stressed out because I really didn't know what i was getting myself into, yet Daniel made sure things went smoothly and had me at ease. Bryan Ha with Premier Builders is the nicest, most professional, and creative contractor we have ever worked with. Our project was a backyard makeover. Not a big lot... it measures around 300 square feet, but the final result makes our backyard look huge! I want to highlight some of my favorite things about Bryan: Vision/Creativity We initially were thinking of putting pavers in our backyard and replacing our Podocarpus trees with new ones (in planters). Bryan spent well over an hour on his first visit coming up with a few different options and gave us the brilliant idea of putting in a tile that matches our interior laminate flooring to make our home appear bigger then it is. We couldn't envision it, so he showed us multiple examples of what we could do. He had plenty of ideas for us to choose from. That is something that only comes from experience and a creative mind. He also suggested keeping the trees we had that were still in good condition and just adding a few more with a slow drip irrigation system to achieve the full look we wanted. This plan saved us a lot of money! Honesty/Integrity Bryan never pushed anything on us, in fact he always was considerate of our budget when making suggestions of what we could do with our backyard. He wanted us to have the most bang for our buck and really worked with us to give us all the best low cost options. Craftsmanship/Quality of Work Bryan personally checks every step of the process and is most often right there with his workers doing the dirty work. Bryan is meticulous in his work and he is not happy unless everything is perfect. On the first day after his crew laid the tiles, my husband and I weren't happy with the last row of tiles being in a slightly different pattern than the other rows. No questions asked, he said he would make sure his crew took care of it... and they did it right away. Even though it took much of their time, they made it seem like it was no trouble at all! Punctuality/Response Time Bryan was always on time to our meetings and his crew was never a minute late. They would start prep work at 7:00am sharp and would wait until 8:00am to do any work that might disrupt our neighbors. (Irvine has an 8:00am start time). Bryan always answered my calls and responded quickly to my texts. I wonder when he ever has down time because he would often answer our questions after hours and on weekends. Calm Demeanor and Positive Energy To us... this was really important and helped us feel confident in the project. Bryan tends to give off an easy and relaxed energy even though I'm sure he might be a stress case inside. He's a perfectionist... and with that comes stress. But he's never shown us. He's always smiling and always happy. He takes great pride in his work and has the confidence to put your mind at ease. I had really high expectations from this company based off the social media presence. I gave them a shot to get a quote done for my shop. Paid the $50 on 7/3 and got a quote back on 7/8. I decided to move ahead on 7/12 but was waiting on a final approval from the owner Bryan. After multiple text and email I finally get a response on 7/22. The final approved price was literally double from the original estimate. Either someone don't know how to do an initial estimate or this is a bait and switch. Either way it's shitty when you see a quote for $52k jump to $104k. Not only that, the associate tells you no one is next so project can start fairly quickly and changed to about a 3-4 months start date. What a complete waste of time. read more

Showed up on time, but stayed in car on a phone call for 10 minutes while I waited. The guy was super nice and took measurements and gave me a verbal quote. Poor response. The owner was quick to a set up original appointment for an estimate. An employee named Mike came and met with us regarding our backyard redo. He promised an estimate in 48 hours... a week later, I had to ask about the estimate and got it from the owner a couple of days after my email. It was overpriced and ambiguous. I asked several questions via email such as where I can see some of the products that the estimator recommended, the placement of the pergola, etc. I got no response. It seems they are way to busy to get any new business. They may have too many clients to look for new business. I do not recommend them at all. read more

My wife and I have been researching and getting bids on a complete backyard remodel for the last few years. We had so many different ideas and bids on the project and after a lot of thought we decided on Bryan and his team at Premier. Bryan definitely wasn't the cheapest but he also was not the most expensive bid we received. Bryan's attention to detail and finishes is what sealed the deal for us. Bryan quoted us at 6 weeks and even with the crazy amount of rain we had since January they only took an extra 2 weeks. We wanted concrete for just a small section of our side yard (around 100 square feet), so we had a hard time finding a reputable company that would do the work. Most companies I'd contacted either wouldn't take on such a small job or would quote their required minimum; a few gems just didn't bother returning my call at all. Kevan was awesome to work with. He showed up right on time for the consultation, was thorough in looking over our property and listening to our requests, and promptly followed up as promised with the estimate. Mixed experience. Pros: We love our yard. Once they got started, they finished pretty quickly. Team was generally responsive. Cons: Inconsistent in preparing plans for my HOA (plant and concrete differences between the plan and actual), which is causing issues with final approval. I specifically forbade a plant that they planted anyway. They gave me 15 minutes notice at 6:45 AM on a weekday that they were coming to collect a $10,000 check; no discussion beforehand or payment schedule established. Difficulty producing a correct final invoice so today I still think I overpaid. Something that earned my business for years to come, is we hired Premier Builders to upgrade our outdoor patio cover. Complete teardown of the old tired wood cover and replace it with a Duralum fully covered patio. The demo guys showed up moved all our furniture and took down all our party lights that were hanging from the patio and coiled them nicely with care and set them aside. This is the best part, we had to leave town for 3 days over the weekend. When we came back PBH were doing the finishing touches, getting the speakers and fans dialed in. I previously used this company to install a concrete block wall. I needed a vinyl gate installed on the side of my house so when I got a couple of quotes, I decided to give Bryan a call and he was able to get me an estimate, which was lower than all the rest, very quickly. He was also able to get it installed 2 weeks earlier than all the other companies. Ramiro, the vinyl installer, came by my house the next day to measure and had the gate installed within 2 weeks. So after shopping around for a trustworthy and quality contractor I found Bryan and what a great outcome we had. He had the best price of the 4 bids we had and we usually don't go for the lowest price but in this case we saw real jobs he was working on and was very impressed. He converted the exterior of our home into a dream. I will post pictures of our actual yard. This has changed our property and the value of our property signifigantly. My friend found Premier Builders on Pinterest and suggested me to give it a try for my backyard landscaping. I wanted to build a low maintenance backyard. I called Bryan, he came by and explained to me couple options. He worked with my budget. Bryan was professional, honest and easy to work with. Before he started, he gave me a time frame for the project. He also let me know ahead of time each step as we move along the project. Bryan and his crews were polite and reliable. They showed up 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday. They cleaned up their working area at the end of each day. During the project, we had some modifications and Bryan was able to accommodate. I was very pleased with the completed project. I have new concrete for the patio area and surrounding the house, the aluminum patio cover with recess lights and fan, the new grass with sprinklers and timer, the new planter with flowerbeds, and lot of lights on the ground also on timer. I got my low maintenance backyard the way I wanted. Bryan and his crews were great. Most important was Bryan as the owner, made sure the project was completed and to the customer's satisfaction. I had couple requests after the project done and Bryan sent his crews or he came by to help with that. I had some home improvements in the past and most contractors were much harder to deal with. Once they demolished your house you started to see their rude and bully faces. If you have some requests during or after the job done, they made you feel like you're at their mercy. I contacted Bryan couple times after the project was done. He got back with me right away and wouldn't mind to share some advice. I needed some cement work around the house. Shopped around for a few landscapers. The owner of Premier Builders - Bryan came out himself to look at the job and provide consultation. Premier Builders gave a competitive proposal and was able to start work immediately. Sold! Bryan and his team are super efficient, super fast, super professional, super courtesy, and super awesome! Day 1: prep the site and build the forms. Day 2: add rebar. Day 3: 3 hours to pour and smooth out concrete, all done before the afternoon. Day 4: remove the forms and cleaned up. The end result is beautiful and strong cement around the house to keep the dirt and bugs away. In the future we will need to have a patio built and landscaping in the backyard.
