The workers showed to go to work. the plan was to remove the concrete on the first day, to my surprise when I got home from work they not only removed the concrete, but had the road base delivered as well. The workers were great and very professional, each worker was responsible for there job. Our son is a tile setter, he came by when the job was almost completed, he got out the string to check the level of the pavers, it looked very level. I was a little bit worried about the edge closes to the walkway, seemed like was going to be below the sidewalk. the workers came the next day, I didn't share my thoughts with them, we left for the day and when we got home, I was pleasantly surprised that the job turned out perfect. He repaired all my pool coping and a leak under my deck in one day. Brick around pool looks great... like new! I requested a quote from Joe Rodriguez(who responded to my request on Nextdoor.com) and he came out the next day and gave me a fair estimate to replace two areas of cement that were damaged by tree roots. His wife, Coco, helped with initiating our first contact. He was extremely friendly and gave a clear and itemized description of all that would be done including tree root removal. No hidden charges. Joe provided a realistic time estimate for a start date since he was in the middle of another large job, whose address he gave me so that I could see his work. He worked with my schedule and he and his crew came two weeks later. The job was completed in one day and he personally brought the dumpster and supplies the day before so that they could start at 8:00 sharp while he supervised the entire time. Impressive. An extremely reliable and hard working crew and Joe is a man of character. I won't hesitate to recommend his services to others and will be using him for other projects in the future. read more

I have no complaint about the quality of work Joco provides. Joe's crew does wonderful work in a timely manner. He is very customer oriented and the work is done on time. My only advice is to watch out for the quotes. He itemized the cost of our retaining wall and irrigation on a per foot basis but bundled it with other expenses so it looked like the cost was included. I ended up paying nearly 40% more than the estimate when on the final invoice the cost of these two items were finally itemized separately. He easily could have measured these two items and provided the price in advance. read more

I contacted JOco construction for an estimate on a retaining block wall. I spoke with Coco. She gathered my information and said she'd get back to me in an hour and a half which she actually did. Other contractors never called me back. Coco discussed my situation with Joe and she explained the whole process to me. Then I received an email from Joe again explaining the process in detail which helped a lot. In his email, Joe did say to get bids from other contractors then decide which contractor to go with. My whole interaction with Joe and Coco displayed true professionalism and honesty which I didn't get from others. They took the time to understand my needs. We needed our foundation repaired and Joe was recommended by someone on nextdoor.com. We were searching for a block wall contractor so called Home Depot to see if they had a "business card" for wall contractors. I called the number provided by them for a network of contractors and left detail of my project. I immediately received a call from JoCo Construction. I did the usual three bids but found JoCo the most professional submittal which also included my city's block wall standards. I interacted with both Coco and Joe who were the most professional, courteous, considerate, and accommodating folks I've ever had the pleasure to work with. The cost was VERY reasonable, the daily jobsite was cleaned and very organized, they had all of the tools necessary to complete the job without delay, and the wall was perfect even though our transition went from 4" to 6" wide. I can't praise Joe and his team enough. They really know what they are doing and it shows. I wish the rating system went to at least 10 stars where I would click every one!
