My friend love this place and highly suggested that we come here. She loves the mocha latte here. I came here to grab some the day of New Year's and they were open, which was amazing. My friend says unusual day they sell out of everything by 10 AM or so. We got here around 9 AM and there were still plenty in the pastry shelf. We tried a few things I got a couple of croissants, chocolate, croissant, cinnamon bun, and coffee cake. I also tried their sticky bun latte along with a jasmine green tea and two mocha lattes. Overall, everything was really good. The coffee cake wasn't my favorite, I will say but the cinnamon bun was really really good. It was fluffy and the perfect amount of sweetness. Overall, a really cute space. They also sell other items in here, including cheese and ceramics. I would definitely like to come back during the summertime to try some of their cold drinks. Sticky my latte was OK a little bit sweeter than I had expected less coffee flavor. I definitely want to go back and try some more. They also have an iced sugar cookie latte!

Carmel Valley Creamery is everything you hope to find when you wander into a small country town -- warm people, rustic charm, and local flavor in every sense of the word. The atmosphere is pure "coffee shop in the country" -- wood accents, sunlight through the windows, and the smell of espresso and fresh cheese in the air. Sophie is a gem; she actually makes her own cheese (and it's incredible). The cheese and wine selection alone is worth the trip -- tons of local options, beautifully curated. Their lattes and teas are top-notch, and you can tell everything's made with love. I also love how they support local artists and craftspeople -- the space has this creative, community feel that's hard to describe but easy to feel. If you want a place that makes you slow down, smile, and truly taste Carmel Valley, this is it. Amazing food, amazing vibes, amazing humans.

Where does one even begin with a gem like this place? I love the patio--maybe a little too much. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to linger. Today, I had the chai, and I'm coming back for more. It was smooth and comforting, without all those unpleasant, overly sweet flavors. A true little escape anytime of the day. Looking forward to a wine and cheese evening. I will have to report back on that. :)

Such an adorable shop. It was freezing outside but it felt so warm and cozy. We went around noon and literally all the pastries were sold out. The coffee was delicious, staff were incredible kind. I will be returning soon :)

If you're in Carmel Valley looking to begin your morning with a nice cup of coffee and pastries, Carmel Valley Creamery will not disappoint you. On top of that since this is a creamery, you can buy cheese and watch it being made! It's quite spacious both inside and outside, with beautiful seating areas and ample parking spots. The working staff were also friendly and welcoming.

A little piece of history set amongst 200 year-old oaks since a darling establishment owned by a local woman who is the first cheese maker in Carmel Valley. Come for yummy treats made by Ad Astra, fantastic coffee, grab some local wine and cheese to take home for dinner or just sit and eat it outside on their amazing patio. Super friendly staff as well.

Caramel latte and a pastry the employee recommended. It was delicious!

Although it didn't have as much of that ambrosia apple that I was expecting, it was still quite good nonetheless and I picked up one bottle. I'd say overall, I found Baker & Olive vinegars (down in SoCal) to be more flavorful and true, but this place does shine in their "25 Star" 25-year aged balsamic offering, which definitely lets this shop stand out among their peers. The 25 Star is a must try, pours a dark, rich honey like texture and tastes like blackberry and red fruit with an ultra-long honey finish. I also picked up some Haskap berry elixir mix which I was really excited by. Haskap berries I had never heard of prior to visiting this shop and they apparently contain large amounts of natural antioxidants/anthocyanins which are incredible for health. I had previously been consuming elderberries and wild blueberries which are also high in antioxidants and was delighted to find yet another natural berry source for those. The olive oils there are also quite nice -- although I was not looking for olive oils that day in particular I would return to pick up a bottle the next time I am in the area. They have so many different varietals and even do interesting stuff like Butter Olive Oil (there is no actual butter contained -- the flavor is due to the addition of some kind of nutritional yeast). Looking forward to my next trip back!!! Do check out the rest of Carmel Valley as well, it's a beautiful locale and I caught the golden hour right around 4 pm which made for some unforgettable sun-kissed sights along the drive into the valley.

It's a self serve kind of olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting, which is cool. It's straight up oil or vinegar; there's no cracker or bread to accompany it so you get the full, unfiltered version of the oil or vinegar. It's Veteran owned and that's made loud and proud by the names of the specials (named after each branch in the military) and the interior decor. There's clipboards on the table in front of the shop that you fill out and bring to the deli counter where they make your sandwich, call your name, and ring you up at the register. I had the Marine special (chicken breast, bacon, Cesar dressing, melted pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickle) on Dutch crunch and my significant other had the Space Force (a newer variation of the chicken sandwich with Chick-fil-a Polynesian sauce). They also had a ton of chips and drinks inside the market for you to pair with your sammies!

I stopped in for lunch and ordered a couple of sandwiches to go, thinking it would be a good way to try the food before committing to a larger purchase like steaks, pasta, or other items from the shop. The sandwiches came out to $42 for two, which felt pretty steep. While I waited, I looked around the store at some of the other products, but nothing really stood out to me, and the service felt a bit underwhelming. The sandwiches themselves were just okay--nothing particularly memorable for the price. A few hours later my stomach also felt a bit uneasy, which didn't leave the best impression. Overall, the experience fell short of what I was expecting. Perhaps I just caught them on an off day, but based on this visit, I probably won't be returning.

The aisles can be a bit small which I could see being a bit of a pain if there are lots of people in the store. You can pretty much find anything you are looking for here. It's pretty impressive with standard items like the various prepared salads (chicken, tuna, etc). We wanted to try the sandwiches and for that you'll need to get the order forms from outside near the entrance, then take them to the counter, wait a bit and they'll call you when it's ready. We both got mediterranean sandwiches to go. You can get build your own as well but I figured I'd go with one on the menu. The sandwich was delicious. We ordered 3 different sandwiches. All three were built generally the same. I personally had a pastrami on a French roll with several veggies to add freshness. Although the sandwich price at $12 is on par for custom built sandwiches these days, I was hoping for more meat and veggies that would stand apart from other delis. But it was probably the least filled sandwich that we all have had in a while. The bread was fresh as well as the ingredients, there just wasn't enough meat or vegetables in the sandwich. I think it is a decent sandwich for the convenience. I just won't get another sandwich or seek it out when looking for a deli sandwich. By the way, they did put a healthy portion of alfalfa sprouts. So if you like sprouts, maybe Jerome's will be your sandwich place.
