I love this gorgeous store in Encinitas and found some unique rose quartz crystals in so many different shapes and sizes! The energy is incredible from all of the different crystals here.

The store I went into today was in Hillcrest between 4th and 5th not up north. As I couldn't seem to find a Yelp address here. The store is fairly new and I was so happy that it was open today when I decided to take a look. These stores were very popular in the 70s, 80s and the 90s and over the years I did purchase many unique pieces. The staff person Izzy was so sweet, friendly and happy to help me. I hadn't any plans purchase anything but, I did find a small lightweight beige crossover bag made out of hemp. No, I will not be smoking this. LOL Hope you enjoy the photographs and go in there when you have the opportunity.

I loved this store but a little feedback - when someone brings up the cards with the stones, they are wanting to take the cards home. That's why there are stacks of them next to the stone they are about.... Not only did I remind them that the cards went with my order, they still somehow didn't make it into my bag. read more

This is my third time here and I guess third is a charm. I recently visited here, and I have to say, I was blown away by the variety of crystals they offer. From the moment you walked in, I was surrounded by a beautiful selection of raw stones, polished gems, and unique pieces for any type of energy work or personal collection. What really stood out to me were the stunning amethyst pieces - both the cathedral formations and the winged amethyst clusters. The wings amethysts were absolutely mesmerizing, with their intricate shapes and deep purple hues, while the winged ones felt like a work of art. I couldn't help but admire them for a while! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, offering insights into the healing properties of the crystals without being pushy. I ended up picking up a few pieces that I'm absolutely in love with and will definitely be back for more. If you're into crystals or just curious about them, I highly recommend checking out this shop. It's a peaceful, welcoming place with so much to explore, and I can't wait for my next visit! If you love good vibes, then this store is for you. Every time I come to visit, I always make a stop here to pick up more crystals, bracelets or today I purchased a hemp backpack and a Root Chakra tea for grounding. The people that work here are so kind and also helpful. They carry so many unique crystals, meditation items such as candles, artwork, lotus cups for mini lights, geodes, and other spiritual needs. There are other locations in the area as well as other states like Florida. I never leave without indulging and the bonus is you receive 20% off your purchase by checking in on Yelp. Wow! I was really taken aback by the service, really left a lot to be desired. The energy of both the employees was so ugly that I really had to take a step back and wished I had not purchased anything. Upon looking at other reviews it is evident that it had more to do with my color than my energy. We had just left Bliss and had an amazing interaction with their employee that I my energy was high but was quickly hit was so much anger and negative energy from this employee that I was taken aback. I recommend you keep your positive energy and not step inside this store. read more

I bought a beautiful Larimar ring about a month ago and it completely fell apart and the stone fell out. I went to ask for a credit or to get a new ring and their response was "they are dainty and this happens all the time." Ok so why are you selling them if this happens all the time? I was hoping for at least a store credit so I could get another ring or something else. Very disappointed with their response. read more

I'm surprised at the number of 5-star reviews here as the level of service I received was far, far from it. The employee pictured in someone else's review (I believe Izzy is her name) and a blonde were working tonight 11/10. Both were incredibly rude. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but it's obvious when people don't want to help you. Even when attempting to pay the blonde employee rolled her eyes and acted as though I was inconveniencing her. I was polite, paid for my items and left. I am dark skinned and after reading through other reviews see that this behavior is common here. If your staff is racist and you continue to employ them after multiple customers have informed you, that makes your shop racist. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this cute shop. If you are a person of color I recommend you stay away too. read more

This is the second time i have such an ugly encounter here. The first time i gave them the benefit of the doubt, but to be followed around the entire store and having close eyes on me while i'm trying to shop is not the way to do it. There was other people, who weren't of color, in the store, that weren't being followed as closely as i was. When I finally tried to buy something, the person helping me gave me so much attitude for no reason that i ended up leaving with nothing. read more

Came into this store with a group of friends, we were all looking around to buy stuff and the pasty sales associate comes up to me, and only me, asking if i wanted her to hold what i was buying at the front. Didn't even ask the girl i was with, who had significantly more stuff than me, if she wanted her stuff to be held at the front. And yes, i was the only person of color in the store. Very disappointed in how i was treated. I didn't even bother to make the purchase due to their nasty attitudes. read more

I so NOT recommend you shop here. Staff have face masks off while they drink INSIDE while customers are present. I do not recommend you shop here u top they improve their COVID-19 safety protocols. It's been very disappointing. read more

We were out walking around Encinitas and wandered in due to the amazing smells coming from the store. We browsed around, and then bought an amazing wooden incense box with the soul incense they were burning in the store. We are now burning it in our house and it smells amazing. Highly recommend this store and it's amazingly friendly and helpful staff!!! read more

My friend bought an item she first incorrectly put how much you have to pay in which it was $11 and then she corrected herself and put $16 for him to pay and he made a joke saying oh can we just do the $11 and she proceeded to yell at him and threatened to kick us out of the store after he paid so that she made sure the sale went through. Then she started going pharaoh on us and he tried to return it because this is not customer service that we look for and she told him she could only do store credit and laugh in his face. We ended up leaving and we will never be returning here. I'm extremely disappointed because we are regular shoppers there and we couldn't imagine why someone would treat someone else that way.

My sister found a couple shirts from the various vendors and I got a permanent bracelet from Hara Jewels. I was torn between the permanent bracelet and the charm bracelets she has, but I'll definitely be coming back for one of those bracelets. Everyone was friendly and open to negotiating on prices (when it came to the clothes). They are open Saturday's and Sunday's until 4pm!

The owners and staff are friendly and I learned that the candles are made locally and there are no chemicals. For other gifts, I've bought the olive oil, heart-shaped soaps. Good price at $10.00-They will gift wrap for you too--the horoscope magnets make humorous gifts too. I'm a local but I find this store one of my favorites in downtown Encinitas. The furniture and paintings are unique too--what are you waiting for? Go check it out!

I hope this review helps someone who is thinking about doing the tour. My mom and I enjoyed a wonderful day out touring 8 home gardens in the Encinitas area (2026). (A couple of the homes were in Carlsbad and one was in Olivenheim, the remainder were in Encinitas). I purchased the tickets on-line prior to the tour and showed the e-mail at the first house stop, where we received a color printed booklet that would be our ticket for the remainder of the tour. The booklet had a description and photo of each house, along with ads for the artists. You also have the option to pick up your booklet at the Off Track Gallery in Encinitas. The drive between some houses was a couple of minutes, and as much as about 8 minutes for others. This is where your GPS comes in handy! You can follow the order suggested in the booklet. I had studied the map before arrival and slightly adjusted the order for our convenience. Curb parking was always easy. Many of the houses featured pools. Some had art studios. One had chickens and goats. Another had some garden art and a photo opportunity. Some had views to die for. All of them featured a variety of plants, trees, flowers, succulents, cacti, shrubs, along with art vendors selling their wares and a table of finger foods. The variety of art ranged from jewelry, paintings and ceramics to mosaics, photography and fabric arts. Prices started at about $10 and went up into the hundreds and everything in between. All the talented vendors were very friendly and welcoming, although we felt bad when we walked away without buying something. We also met a couple of the house owners who were interesting to talk to. The complimentary food included fruit, crackers and cheese, cookies, cake, chips, hummus, water, lemonade and more. It was lovely to graze the food and sit for a bit and enjoy the surroundings. The home gardens were open between 10am and 4pm. We started at 10am and finished about 3:15pm. This included one house that permitted us to also see the interior, which was a pleasant surprise. We also stopped at a local grocery store to use the restroom as only one home had an available restroom for use. I highly recommend this tour if you get a chance. It's a unique way to spend Mother's Day weekend and you may see parts of San Diego that you've never seen before. It was definitely an eye opener to 'How the other half live'! You do quite a bit of walking and 'in and out of the car', so by the end you're quite tired, but my 78 year old mom did it! Be sure to wear comfy shoes and sun protection. Some areas of the gardens do offer shade, but not all. The photos attached are from the 2026 tour. I understand the homes change each year. We hope to visit the Off Track Gallery at a later date as it was closed by the time we got there after the tour, but we could see wonderful creations through the window. Helpful?

They are all very friendly & helpful. A wide variation of goodies here. Lots of different jewelry Watercolors,paintings, nice cards...Nice spot to find a gift. Located in the back of the Lumberyard mall in Encinitas.

This theater is truly luxury where you can order your food and drink right at your seat and they do have actual meals (such as burgers, etc.). They also do have alcohol and cocktails. The seating here is unique where it's two sweaters (great for couples). than the typical long row seating. The chairs are comfy and feels quite intimate to be honest. I would say the only downside is that you know the movie is ending when the servers come to drop off your check so it can be a bit distracting from that. But overall, it's a great movie theater where you can eat and watch with your loved ones!

The location is great, with a large parking lot that's easy to get in and out of. I still love the lobby and overall atmosphere. It feels a lot more upscale than your average movie theater, and everything seemed clean and well maintained. The biggest disappointment was the service. We ordered a popcorn refill and additional drinks during the movie and ended up waiting about 30 to 40 minutes for them to arrive. I also never received a receipt at the end and had to stop by customer service afterward. I also have to mention how much I miss the Greek bowl they used to serve. It had gyro meat and was hands down my favorite thing on the menu. I would love to see it make a comeback. I'll definitely be back because I still enjoy the theater overall, but I do feel like the experience isn't quite as good as it used to be.

La Paloma is the closest thing around to the dearly departed Ken. How is it like the Ken? On the positive side, it shows an eclectic mix of movies on the big screen that you can't find anywhere else. Like "Groundhog Day" on Groundhog Day. Like "Casablanca" and "2001: A Space Odyssey." Like "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," a mostly awful movie that I have seen on the big screen too many times to admit. The ticket prices are reasonable. The design of the theater itself, although the building is clearly falling apart, is unique. The popcorn is freshly made. You can hear the Coaster train roll by a couple of times every showing. Now, you need to know that some of the seats are literally falling apart. The ones that aren't falling apart are not comfortable. This is not Cinepolis. Still, a few of us appreciate these old dinosaurs because of what they offer and what you can't find anywhere else.

There are lots of places to grab a bite or drink -- coffee, smoothies, yogurt, mexican food, argentine food, subs, sushi and pizza (you can actually watch the show while eating pizza on their patio). They show feature movies on the weekend and during the week old tv shows, cartoons, and seasonal stuff. It runs from sundown until around 10 or 11pm every day of the year. It can be a little hard to find, but if you can locate LA Fitness or Old Spaghetti Factory, you're getting warmer. It's nestled between Pizza Nova and Ryan Bros Coffee. Lots of free parking. They've also hosted the annual San Marcos Student Film Festival 2 years running, which is usually in June, and again free to the public. The only reason for the lack of 5 stars is that it is COLD in the winter, and WET when its rainy ...not that there's a real solution to that, other than a blanket and an umbrella.... Expect kids running around, outdoor noise from cars and conversation, but its all part of the fun. Did I mention its all FREE?

(The Friday movies tend to be older/more obscure). It's right in the middle of a bunch of restaurants and there's a fire pit if you get cold. Though not "pristine" movie viewing conditions, it's free and its outdoors and did I mention it's Free?. A rad way to spend a few hours some Saturday night taking in a flick. Bring your own blanket (and chair if you've got one, seating can be limited) and re-live the golden age of drive ins, that you probably weren't alive for in the first place.

This place is really tucked away in the heart of Carlsbad. Little did I know I'd be walking into such a warm and welcoming place.
