This is a really cool store. We found it while searching for the entrance to the meditation garden. It smells amazing and has a very peaceful vibe. One of the lovely ladies who welcomed us told us everything in the store is from India. The store has clothing, accessories, books and more. We did not spend as much time as I would have liked so I plan to visit again.

I got the sandalwood 108 kriya beads, sandalwood and frankincense!

Super close to home, always come here after a trip to the meditation gardens, their $2 incense(15 sticks in the box + it is hand made in India!) is totally worth it. Get the frankincense + sandalwood scents. I use them when I meditate/ rituals. They make great sandalwood prayer beads as well. Although I got them for like 40 bucks since the price of sandalwood has increased over time. AND they have free vintage SRF magazines from the 70s- early 2000s in a basket by the exit!

This is such an amazing place to visit. It always feels like 10 degrees cooler in the garden. The sound of the little ponds are so soothing and people are meditating and enjoying company if close ones all around--but it doesn't feel crowded in any way. It's so quiet and calm... a perfect place to take in all the views.

Beautiful gift shop, quality items and fare prices. I bought self help booklets and incense to share with my family. The ladies who worked there were friendly and helpful. I skipped the Temple visit this time as I have been there several other times. I know I'll be returning soon. Great place to visit!

Lovely Bookstore. Lovely Gifts. Lovely setting. Very Unfriendly Staff. We really wanted to buy something groovy, but were so put off by the gloomy staff, our own self-realization was that we needn't spend our money here. Yogananda Saves . . . . $

My friend bought an item she first incorrectly put how much you have to pay in which it was $11 and then she corrected herself and put $16 for him to pay and he made a joke saying oh can we just do the $11 and she proceeded to yell at him and threatened to kick us out of the store after he paid so that she made sure the sale went through. Then she started going pharaoh on us and he tried to return it because this is not customer service that we look for and she told him she could only do store credit and laugh in his face. We ended up leaving and we will never be returning here. I'm extremely disappointed because we are regular shoppers there and we couldn't imagine why someone would treat someone else that way.

'One size' usually does not fit anyone nicely... too large for small people, and too small for large people. It seems like just a very cheap way to go when there are whole stores of clothing offering everything in just 'one size' (and Coco Rose is certainly not the only store to do this). It is just frustrating and annoying and disappointing to see clothes you love and can afford but know the one size option is not gonna work. I can not understand why there can not be at least 3 sizes made, such as XS/S, M/L, and XL/XXL to give people more options. Other than that, its a cool store with friendly employees and decent prices for being in a tourist area.

I stopped by with two of my friends on Sunday and someone said that she had never been in the bazaar yet had noticed it for years. My other friend chimed in with, "I do not need a dreamcatcher or crochet plant holder". It is a great place to people watch, and I find it ironic that someone has built a giant art project featuring a surfing Buddha made entirely of trash, given that many of the products sold there are going to end up there. The symbolism of Encinitas culture is hard to ignore with Paramahansa Yogananda's Ashram Center and Meditation Gardens perched above one of the greatest surfing spots in the world.
