This book store is like a museum of Indian art and culture. Very beautiful.Also the harmonium room has many musical instruments.

Super close to home, always come here after a trip to the meditation gardens, their $2 incense(15 sticks in the box + it is hand made in India!) is totally worth it. Get the frankincense + sandalwood scents. I use them when I meditate/ rituals. They make great sandalwood prayer beads as well. Although I got them for like 40 bucks since the price of sandalwood has increased over time. AND they have free vintage SRF magazines from the 70s- early 2000s in a basket by the exit! read more

This is a really cool store. We found it while searching for the entrance to the meditation garden. It smells amazing and has a very peaceful vibe. One of the lovely ladies who welcomed us told us everything in the store is from India. The store has clothing, accessories, books and more. This is such an amazing place to visit. It always feels like 10 degrees cooler in the garden. The sound of the little ponds are so soothing and people are meditating and enjoying company if close ones all around--but it doesn't feel crowded in any way. Such a healing place to be. Although it's a little pricey in value they make up for it with selection. The service is great too. You may need to ask for assistance as they don't want to bother you on your journey, but the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I was pleased to see they have a nicely curated selection of incense, dhoop, and oils, including a few brands that aren't commonly found in retail stores in the United States. It's cool here. Beautifully organized, very big inside, and a place to my only shop but just hang out in peace, without bombarded by retail associates or noisy food traffic. The shop has jewelry, lots of books and CDs, aromatherapy oils and incense, beautiful scarves/clothes, and musical instruments, so it's fun to browse at the high quality stuff they have in here. Prices are not cheap, but fair, and Rangel greatly depending on the item. Staff was super friendly and helpful, but they totally leave you alone to browse. There's a very big round table in the center for visitors to read great books, like Bhagavad Gita, works by Yogananda etc. Bathroom facilities were clean. One of my all-time favorite shops. I was interested in the Indian Flute music, and although they didn't have the CD in the store, they were very helpful in letting me know the details of the CD so I can buy it from Amazon. Also, this is the only place where I can get premium incense and meditation supplies. And they have the most beautiful Buddha Statue I've ever seen. I was told it's a favorite of the store's staff, but I can't afford it at $1200. Beautiful store with a nice spiritual ambience. read more

What a beautiful store and so full of gorgeous items. It would be easy to spend hours carefully looking at the books, jewelry, small items and one of a kind art pieces. The two sales clerks were extremely kind and friendly, and you don't get that hovering/watched feeling when you slowly browse. I was surprised to read the negative review of this interesting and unusual gift shop. I've driven by it several times and only today went in with out of town guests of mine. We went to the free and beautiful gardens of the Self Realization just up the street and afterwards ventured into this beautiful shop. The gifts were very nice and well priced and I in fact I even bought a beautiful tunic, all cotton and very different and lovely. The 3 people working there could not have been more welcoming,accommodating and friendly. I can't wait to go back and take my friend with me. The staff are very friendly and let you peruse around while deciding what to do. It has a restroom, fitting room, wonderful skylights, new items every 4-5 months.
