For starters insurance only covered part of the mitigation process and we were left with an 8K bill that they demanded we pay or they put a lien on our house (we were fresh from losing my father inlaw at this point, so we were in a rough state emotionally. No compassion from them.) We get through the Reconstruction process painfully slow with limited communication and were left with an unfinished sink. We have tried working with them and communicating to get the sink finished but they are demanding payment for the remaining balance after our insurance payout. I get needing to get paid but I am not a fan of paying for work that hasnt even been done yet. Long story short: they give a 5 start appearance but really only cared about getting paid even if it means leaving unfinished work. My husband was out of work while we dealt with the death of his father and then experienced a health crisis himself. They do not care if you are financially strained or not. If you dont qualify for financing they just threaten to send you to collections. Do yourself a favor and go with a company that has a little more empathy for the people they are serving. Many of us are seeking out companies like this because of stressful emergencies. We do not need the added stress of being treated like a cash cow.

No communication, no update, no notice. 8 mins past our agreed upon meeting time, I had to be the one to initiate finding out what happened. Shouldn't the business be the one letting me know if they couldn't make the time BEFORE the agreed upon time? After finding out Edvin couldn't meet that day, he said he could be there the following day at 11AM. Again, another no-show from this company. No communication, no update, no notice. Even after giving them the benefit of the doubt asking if we were still meeting 7 mins AFTER the agreed time, Edvin chose to read the message and remained silent. I thought it was a small job and paid deposit right away. They said they could start Monday Dec 5. Then Dec 9 Edvin said the metals have been delayed for a week due to the holidays. Dec 29 I asked when they would start. They scheduled then canceled on me Jan 14, 26, 30, then Feb 8, and said it was due to inclement weather. Then they handed me off to Sam and said there was confusion and language barrier. Then Feb 25 they said they were waiting on metals again but they did start pulling off the damaged roof. Then I contacted them Mar 1, 3 and no answer. Then Mar 4, 6, 11, 17, 18, 19, 24, 29 it was either sporadic or no communication until I threatened bad reviews. Apr 1 they replaced the new metal roof section. It was not the matching striation of the original panels but I didn't make them change it. I inspected the work and I asked them to cover a small soffit area with metal to protect it and make it look uniform. Also they needed to clean up their scraps. Apr 20 they still had not come back. May 21 they asked for final payment. I reminded them they needed to do the touchups and clean up again. May 25 they finally completed the work and I submitted final payment.

We had water get into our basement due to some construction work next door - when digging to build a new house, they cut into a live sprinkler line and water gushed out overnight and seeped into our basement. I called to ask about what I should look for damage-wise, and Paisley was very helpful. She asked a few questions and then offered to send an inspector by for a free inspection. There was one nearby in the area and he ended up coming over the same day. The inspector, Al, was great. He first asked me what happened and looked at where water came in from outside. Then he surveyed the basement and materials. At this point we had dried the water, but he was more focused on whether all the materials that had come into contact with it had dried and what those materials were. Luckily, we have a mostly unfinished basement with plaster and linoleum tile over concrete, and after a brief inspection he assured me there was no serious damage to structure and materials and little risk of mold as long as I kept running a fan since the materials affected were alkaline and mold-resistant. Al was very personable and we connected about dogs during our quick inspection together. A+ for fast, friendly service and for giving me a free inspection and not suggesting any work I don't need.

He showed us how to turn the water on and off so we can take quick showers, have water to drink for us and the animals, fill buckets, etc. to get us through the weekend.
