This is my second time renting at this location and I've rented with their Houston location like 5x so I'm pretty familiar with their process and because of that I never make plans on the day I fly in lol. Their wait times are quite absurd, I think this last time I waited about an hour and 15 mins but honestly to be expected since they usually take about 15-20 mins checking-in one person and there's usually only 1-2 workers on shift. This past experience was actually better than the first because of the customer service I received once I made it to the front of the line. I don't remember the workers name who checked me in but he was very friendly and it went a lot quicker because I checked in on my phone and had my insurance card ready. Okay now the ONLY reason I'm writing this review is because of Rian, the shuttle driver that was on shift when I returned the car! He provided amazing customer service by not only allowing me a couple mins to grab my things and make the shuttle that was just about to head out when I was pulling in but he also surprised me by doing the check in process himself. I don't think I would've made my flight had it not been for his kindness and willingness to go above and beyond! If I rent with you guys again, it will definitely be because of the actual workers so maybe y'all should hire some more and increase the daily rates by $10-$15 to compensate for the increase in payroll. read more

Absolute bait and switch--avoid this place at all costs! I've been renting cars for over 20 years and have never experienced such aggressive, dishonest upselling. I booked this rental expecting to pay around $289, but by the time the agent was done "adding on" fees, my total ballooned to $830.60. The worst part was being forced into a $35/day "unlimited mileage" charge ($315 total) that I explicitly told them I did not need. Even with a standard 150-mile-per-day limit, I would have had over 1,300 miles to use--way more than necessary. On top of that, they tacked on a $134.91 "Tire & Glass Pack" and $270 for CDW. They also bury a predatory late fee in the fine print: if you are even slightly late, they charge a massive $129.37 per day plus taxes. I should have gone with Enterprise for $500. Instead, I ended up paying nearly double that for a Chevy Trax. I will never rent from Easirent again. Save yourself the headache and the money--go literally anywhere else. read more

We arrived on a Thursday around noon and it was pretty busy. It is confusing when you first arrive, there is a physical sign-up sheet on the counter where you put your name down and they will call you in the order of arrival. There were about 4 other parties in front of us and it took about 35 minutes from the time of walking in until we were in the car. Despite the wait, the rest of our experience was positive which we were surprised by given the negative reviews. Given the low rental price, I was surprised that the car had CarPlay and both a USB and USB-C port. Drop off on Saturday was super easy and we only waited for the shuttle for about five minutes before it took us back to the airport. We were skeptical going in, but overall it was a positive experience. I rented a vehicle through this company for 6 days through Priceline for $286 . Our flight got redirected to San Antonio instead of Dallas Ft Worth due to severe thunderstorms. When I called them and told them I couldn't pick up car til next day they told me to make another reservation. They told me that Priceline would reimburse me . I booked another reservation with them for 5 days paid another $290 . We had to take airport shuttle then wait for their shuttle to pick us up which was another 12 minute ride. check in took forever and the car we got smelled of marijuana , knobs were missing for radio and the vent for ac just fell off when we went to adjust them. Today I get an email that I had unpaid tolls and they couldn't charge my card on file. on my final bill I was charged for tolls and this company never approved refund for the other reservation. while I was in Texas someone also tried to do ancestry.com on my credit card. The only place I used that card was at easirent. I had to shut this card off due to credit card fraud. The people who work here are unprofessional and they don't know how to run a business. It was a lot longer of a process to get a car and get checked in and everything than at a more well known rental car company. It was definitely disorganized and they were trying to find the keys for different cars and it wasn't very smooth. The car they gave me had a hole in the tire that was leaking air and they didn't know before they sent me out. She said she needed to fill it up with air, but it didn't have the valve cap on and I had to constantly fill the air up 10 different times during my trip. When I got back to return the car, it took a while for them to get for me and no one addressed me or told me they would get to me in a minute. Overall, the guy that helped me when I dropped off was nice and he gave me an email and phone number to contact to hopefully get a refund for the valve caps and air I had to purchase, but you get what you pay for type thing. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The experience started badly at the airport. We were told the shuttle runs every 20-30 minutes, yet we waited 45 minutes. When we asked the driver about the delay, his response was dismissive: "You probably got there right when I left. I can't fly." Things only got worse at the rental office. I went to this establishment a few days ago to rent a car. First of all, the location is so sketchy. Secondly, once you step foot inside the establishment, you are greeted with the most vulgar music. When I say vulgar, I mean just that. I'm hearing the N word. I'm hearing the P word, the F word and everything in between. It's so distasteful. The staff, if you can call them that, were rude, dismissive and seemingly done with working for the day. We waited quite a long time for the employee to go get the car. And when he pulled it up, the car was filthy. It's evident they don't clean the cars. There was mud and dirt all over the INSIDE. This rental location is completely off-site from both the airport and the main DFW rental car center, which makes the process longer and less convenient than expected. After landing, you first need to take the DFW rental car shuttle to the rental car center, and then transfer to a second shuttle to reach Easirent. We waited over 15 minutes for the Easirent shuttle, and the drive from the rental car center to the pickup/drop-off location is another 3 miles, taking roughly 10-11 minutes. Overall, the multiple transfers and waiting times add up and can be frustrating, especially after or before a flight. The staff at the location was however very helpful, once you breakthrough the initial grumpiness of working for a car rental company where everybody probably complains about the multiple steps to even just getting there. I fell victim to the biggest predatory practices while renting from this company. I booked my rental through Expedia and received pickup/drop off instructions via email. It was somewhat confusing taking the rental car shuttle from the airport to the rental car center to take another rental car shuttle to the Easirent location itself. I should have known then I was in for a scam. I flew in on a Friday morning. When I initially booked my rental I was given the option to select a pickup time of 8am, and with my flight scheduled to land around 7:20am that worked out nicely for me. After the extensive commute we made it to the rental car location and entered the facility. I was greeted by two employees, male and female. The female employee (who later revealed herself to be the on-site manager) handled my reservation check-in. I provided her with my ID and to my surprise received news that the class of vehicle I had booked (again I booked through Expedia using one of the promotional options where you don't know what type of vehicle you have rented until you go pick it up) wasn't available and she only had SUVs on the property. She then proceeded to tell me that it would cost me an additional $25 a day, not including whatever other taxes and fees to secure the reservation because I had no choice but to accept the upgrade or lose what I had paid in rental booking fees already altogether. It went from a $80 weekend rental in total to over $160+ because of predatory business practices. I have never been the customer is always right type because I grew up in customer service roles and have always worked in a client facing role of some sort professionally. Having experience in the rental car service industry, this was the first time that I have ever seen a company, choose to snag a few extra dollars over building a relationship with a customer who would potentially rent with them again. I found this rental company online. It had the best offer for what I needed. Their prices are very economical. They don't have the car at the airport so you will have to take the rental car shuttle to the pick up center in Irving from the airport. They are busy and their lobby is small. I had a good experience with the staff. There were a few faces frowning the times I was there but overall they were friendly and one in particular was killing it. He had braces. When you arrive, sign your name on the clipboard and wait to be call. I recommend doing the check in process with the link they send you or the barcode on the walls and pre fill your information. It helps the process go faster. The cars overall were not the best. They were dirty, newer cars but with bumps and/or scratches. The inside was halfway vacuum and all of the windows needed cleaning. They do give you the tank full. The cars need to be cleaned and do proper maintenance. The 1st car I was given, I had to exchange. The check engine light came on and it also needed a rotation and alignment asap. The check engine light on the replacement car also came on and needed engine oil change. When you call, expect to be waiting for 30 mins or so before they answer. Overall, you are not paying for quality. Drive safely! read more

You have to take two separate shuttles just to get there! Not exactly convenient when you're traveling with luggage and on a schedule. Second, they asked for a very specific page from my personal car insurance ...the declaration page. Be honest: who walks around with that in their bag on vacation? RENTERS BEWARE!! 1. The pickup spot for the car is a 3rd location from the airport, far from ideal. You have to take a shuttle from the airport to the Car Rental Center, then get on ANOTHER shuttle bus to the Easirent location. They wouldn't take my valid car insurance and made me buy theirs. (no choice when you're driven to what feels like the middle of nowhere and there are 30 people behind you desperate for a car) Check to see if they take your insurance beforehand! You've been warned. 4. Facility smelled like pot, big time. Not judging, but your place of business should not reek of skunk weed. This is not instilling confidence in your professionalism . 5. Tried to up-sell the TX Easypass for toll roads, like HARD sell. I knew where I was going and would be around a small area during my trip so I kept saying no, and he kept arguing with me about how I needed it and how I could have fines or penalties for not paying tolls on time, and how the toll roads are EVERYWHERE, etc. I wore him out saying no, but that would have been another $15 per day flat fee whether I used the toll roads or not, on top of the $30 per day for their insurance that I had to pay. I've gone through plenty of other car rental companies and let me tell you that this has been the worst experience by far. My wife booked it through Expedia so she had already paid which is why we went with it. Once we arrived we waited over an hour just to get into a car. I pre-checked us in just to still wait as long as we did. The two guys who were working the front were having people sign into the clipboard and went off that list. They were chatting and clowning around while also working with a customer. Due to their lack of professionalism they sent the couple off in the car without taking card information leading him to pause everything and now calling the customer to come back. A third guy who works there appears wearing shades and a back pack and going in and out of the building. There was now a female worker who was working in the smaller room inside that was also checking in people. It was finally our turn and the female worker attended us to which we said we did NOT want the tolls or anything extra. She now requested for my proof of insurance to which I provided then wanted to see everything my policy covered which I thought was a bit ridiculous considering no other rental company has ever requested. I provided the proper documents and now she requested for my card and was charging me $154.78. What's crazy is she led me to believe that was the hold they were doing on my card and turns out she charged me for the Tolls when I had clearly stated I did not want it. I asked for her to remove and refund the amount she charged me for to which she then said a manager would have to override it and refund the money. Apparently no manager was on site. Told me she would take care of it and have the manager refund me the amount. When I received the car it was dirty and seat in the back had a huge white stain. I called the next day to try and speak with a manager and no one at the branch seems to answer the phone and every time redirects you to their customer support which is also useless btw. When I spoke with someone they said that we would have to speak with the manager in person since they don't handle escalations over the phone. Which is ridiculous. The day we dropped off the rental we requested the manager and was told they were gone for the day. I was flying out that same day and never got my refund back. After I got back home I called early next morning 13 times and was never able to reach anyone at that location. My friend who lives in TX called as well and was never able to get a hold of someone. We never leave negative reviews. However, the only positive comment we have is that the young man at the counter was very personable and friendly. Otherwise, it was the worst car rental experience we've had in 35+ years of renting cars. It took two shuttles to reach the rental site. The car we rented wasn't very clean, was on empty (fuel light on!), the cruise control didn't work. The high beams didn't work either. Also, there was an additional $108 charge because we were taking the car across state lines between Texas and Arkansas. We've never seen this type of charge before. This seems particularity ludicrous considering the size of Texas. We could have driven thousands of miles within the state in our 5 day rental but paid extra to drive 65 miles into Arkansas. Needed a car for a few days in Dallas. Expedia told me that there was a deal- so I took it! Off airport location-beware. I waited for their Mercedes runner van to pick me up o outside of the airport car rental building. The actual office is about 10-15 minutes away. The office staff are really nice and accommodating. I was worried about going off airport to an unknown rental company due to other bad experiences. I was happy to discover that I didn't need my mace at all! This was by far the most unpleasant experience I'd ever had with a rental car/company when traveling. User beware-this is what you get when attempting to save $20 a day on vacation [don't do it next time]. When you arrive at Dallas Fort Worth-you jump on the blue rental car shuttle that takes about 10 minutes to get you to the rental car building [its a stand alone terminal outside of DFW]. Once you get there-you grab your bag and WALK to the parking lot. Where do you go you ask? to an unmarked spot at a crosswalk. that's right folks! No sign, no directions, no nothing. Easierent DOES NOT HAVE a designated license to be there [which means they dont pay to operate there, they just use the parking lot to pick people up for free] and the employees are the poor folks that have to spend their time explaining to patrons oh go stand over there somewhere and look for their shuttle we don't really know how/where they are supposed to pick you up they are a joke. Ok! That was comforting. The shuttle arrives, and you get whisked away on yet another 20 minute drive through a neighborhood I will not proclaim to be safe [literally] and when you realize where this place is, you understand what you've rented from. It's a small office with a tiny parking lot in the middle of an industrial park. No car wash, no big lot, nothing. A cheap, unprofessional gig. You sign in on a clip board, and when the kids are done gabbing with one another and talking about what they had for lunch, maybe they'll get to you. Don't expect to get anywhere any time soon. When it was my turn to get a car, the young lady didn't notice that I'd already taken the time to pre-check in and started asking me the full roster of questions. It wasn't washed, the inside was dirty and I could barely see out of the windshield due to a splatter of an oily substance [that I assume was armorall for the dash because it was greasy when I ran my fingers through it]. Not only was it riddled with dings and scrapes like it had been in an accident already but it had a chipped windshield as well and the girl says to me "we dont cover glass or tires". Excuse me? I said. What about this? I pointed to the rock hole. She said "OH I got that you dont have to worry about that". I then went around the car and took more pictures. She did not notate any of the other scrapes dings or inside. She just handed me my key and said here you go bye. I was literally late for a bridal appointment at another salon with my sister so I had to go. Did I mention the group of 6 young men blaring music having lunch behind my car in the adjacent parking lot? Yeah that was fun while trying to leave. I find the one spot I can see out the window-and I set the GPS and I get to my hotel. {THIS was on Tuesday mind you-I was supposed to keep the car until Friday}. I made my sister pick me up because I didn't trust the car. Fast forward to Thursday-the next bridal salon appointment for us was an hour out of town. She had her car I had mine. I told her I would meet her there. No sooner did I get on the expressway did I get an engine warning light, an oil change maintenance warning light, a dash flash AND a tire pressure warning all within 5 minutes. I contacted my sister immediately and told her I was NOT going to make it and that I had to go straight back to the rental car place because I was not getting stuck on the expressway in god knows where. I rerouted the GPS and made it back to them within 15 minutes. As soon as I pulled into the car rental place to turn this POS in, a very nice man opened my door and I said immediately "Sir this car is in serious need of maintenance" and as I proceeded to tell him everything that was wrong with the car he could see I was very shaken up. He also pointed out that the back tire was completely flat [talk about me being lucky I even made it]. Then he rushed to the back and told me to hold on. He came back out, said I had full coverage and that everything would be covered on THEM and that he would release my deposit immediately and he was so sorry. THEN he gave me a choice-another car OR ? I said I want the shuttle to the airport. At this point my trip was completely ruined anyway. This car rental is closed by 10:00 PM, which you don't see when you book your car rental, and you will find yourself in trouble if you are picking your car after that time 2. They refused to accept my insurance saying they had issues with Root insurance, which was not disclosed in any of the rental process from booking to picking up the car 3. The attendant asked me if I can have the pass covered by them or be responsible for any amount of tolls in Dallas, I said I will handle the tolls my self, and he asked do you understand how the express lanes work? I said yes and signed the agreement. Finally, I see they charged me around $173 for tolls and Fees while I am only responsible for about $63.00 tolls and around $138.00 for forced Insurance coverage besides what I paid through Priceline which was around $151.00. NEVER EVER GO WITH THIS RENTAL CAR AS IT COSTS YOUR MONEY AND HEALTH AT THE SAME TIME. Not a great experience. On top of a 30 minute wait for the shuttle to pick up expect to wait 90 minutes until you get your rental car. The waiting room is covered in spiders, water, and mold. It smells like mold and the service is not great. They won't communicate anything but once you go back to get the car the dude is nice and communicates well. The front desk staff just sucks. The car was alright except that it was exceptionally dirty on the inside. Also expect to pay additional fees if you want to be fully covered in case of a flat tire or chip in the windshield. read more
