Their wait times are quite absurd, I think this last time I waited about an hour and 15 mins but honestly to be expected since they usually take about 15-20 mins checking-in one person and there's usually only 1-2 workers on shift. This past experience was actually better than the first because of the customer service I received once I made it to the front of the line. I don't remember the workers name who checked me in but he was very friendly and it went a lot quicker because I checked in on my phone and had my insurance card ready. Okay now the ONLY reason I'm writing this review is because of Rian, the shuttle driver that was on shift when I returned the car! He provided amazing customer service by not only allowing me a couple mins to grab my things and make the shuttle that was just about to head out when I was pulling in but he also surprised me by doing the check in process himself. I don't think I would've made my flight had it not been for his kindness and willingness to go above and beyond! If I rent with you guys again, it will definitely be because of the actual workers so maybe y'all should hire some more and increase the daily rates by $10-$15 to compensate for the increase in payroll.

I booked this rental expecting to pay around $289, but by the time the agent was done "adding on" fees, my total ballooned to $830.60. The worst part was being forced into a $35/day "unlimited mileage" charge ($315 total) that I explicitly told them I did not need. Even with a standard 150-mile-per-day limit, I would have had over 1,300 miles to use--way more than necessary. On top of that, they tacked on a $134.91 "Tire & Glass Pack" and $270 for CDW. They also bury a predatory late fee in the fine print: if you are even slightly late, they charge a massive $129.37 per day plus taxes. I should have gone with Enterprise for $500. Instead, I ended up paying nearly double that for a Chevy Trax. I will never rent from Easirent again. Save yourself the headache and the money--go literally anywhere else.

Yesterday he was involved in an accident where instead of this company doing the right thing he had already paid them $333 for the week. This company refused to give him a replacement car after he paid his money. Instead, they wanted all the information insurances , but they did not want to do the right thing. He went to the hospital due to the accident. He took the necessary steps in resolving the issue. He asked them could they give him a replacement car since he already paid for the week and they simply had said not until they get all the claim information resolved, which is understandable but everyone knows when you get into a car accident in a rental car they give you a replacement. They ended up following him instead shut the vehicle down and left him stranded on the road. David was so unprofessional over the phone, how dare you all sit up here and treat an older person like this after he's paid you thousands of dollars and has been a good paying customer. David decided he was going to be rude and hung up twice in my face! You all are disgraceful, incompetent and need to be reported. You charged an obscene amounts for old vehicles and have no respect for your customers! With this review in mind go where your money is respected these people clearly don't respect anyone's money and do payments through ZELLE!!! he has paid this company for over a year and still took his money and told him that they were gonna give him a credit, knowing that they wasn't going to lend out another vehicle to him!

It was a Wednesday, mid morning and I did not have to wait long for a shuttle bus to the rental plaza. Elliot was the driver and got us there safely. They had a decent choice of cars, I chose a small jeep. The check out line was slow but they opened up more lanes as the line was building. The return: Kat checked me in when returning the car and was very quick and pleasant. Strange thing is there was an extra key fob in the jeep. I told her about it and she actually thanked me for telling her. The return shuttle process is really bad. So many people on the shuttle yet they keep adding people that are going to the plaza. They should empty the buses a little more or run more to relieve the crowds. Lots of people getting on and off. We had to shuffle around with big bags, reaching around people, some had to get off in order to let others pass. I got my receipt right away via email.

The shuttle driver was nice and dropped us off right out front. Despite having Enterprise, National and Alamo on the building and what looked like 3 doors they routed us all into one building/office. The clerks made short work of the line. I was asked about my insurance company (not sure if that is new to rentals or just to Alamo or Texas) but they didn't harass me about declining coverages. They also asked my deductible. The staff assisting me was nice (I told her I wanted to go to Buc-ee's and she asked where we were staying and googled the closest one for us. I also told her I was excited Texas had Quik Trips and she told me there was one right up the street. I asked about tolls and was told "oh yeah all our cars are equipped for tolls." I didn't see the toll transponder I have seen in other major cities with lots of toll roads so I didn't think anything of it. We did not take toll roads our first day. I asked the people we knew who lived in texas what their toll tags looked like as I could not find it on the car (found out it is a T in an orange circle says toll tag or something like it). Basically told us to suck it up and take toll roads, fees be damned (because what can you do?). I was pissed and anticipated a large toll bill (and I mean it was a lot for 4 days but at least Alamo doesn't gouge you on the "fee administration" of the tolls like other places). We returned the rental car 1/2 and got the toll bill today. Tolls were $58.62 for 4 days and the service charge was $19.80. I don't understand how people afford to drive in texas if you can rack up a $60 toll bill in 4 days but my husband said they can afford it because gas is so cheap. Ok so after gas station talk we went out to pick out our car. There was a good amount of standard SUV's (our rental class) and we were told to pick. We were walking up and down the aisle trying to decide what to pick and a staff asked us several times if we needed help. We picked a black Ford Edge which was pretty new (only 4500 miles!) that was nice. It fit all our luggage and passengers. It had dual climate control, heated seats and the giant screen that paired well with my husband's android. It was a great car to tool around in the 5 days we were there. We had to gas it twice and when my husband said gas was $37 I was like "how small is the tank?" but gas was only $2.49 Gassed it before return and it was $7 We had no issues returning the car as we put in the address on our rental contract and there were signs. We got there when a shuttle was about to take off but they waited for us! Shuttle driver was super helpful loading bags and getting us to the airport safely and timely. I would rent from this Alamo again if in the area and will likely rent from Alamo in the future.

We rented a Chevy Malibu and got the car quickly enough, but before we hit the street the car started jerking and then stalled on us with a notice on the dash saying to shift to neutral. My wife restarted the car and we got about halfway around the block before jerking abruptly to a stop as the engine shut down again. We managed to nurse it back around to the return side of the lot where we were told they would do a vehicle swap for us. They were totally casual about it like this happens all the time, but all I could think was we were about to drive across Dallas on the freeways out to Rockwall. If the car had died on the 635 we would have been screwed for sure, or even better yet seriously hurt in a crash as the car shuts down on a freeway. I called their customer service department today to discuss it with them, as I lost sleep last night thinking about how bad it could have been. They said they were going to escalate it to their management team, but I haven't heard back from anyone yet. In the meantime my wife noticed the check engine light has come on in the replacement (you guessed it, Chevy Malibu) and won't go off. So I'm just feeling super uneasy driving this car around and will certainly avoid renting from Alamo in the future as they are clearly not servicing their fleet. My family's safety is worth more than saving a few bucks on a sketchy rental.

I even tried downloading the app but it didn't help. We waited 30min to an hour to get to a customer service person. When we finally get there, it moved fast since I did my stuff online. I just clicked until I heard my car make a sound. We were in 38z. No one was around to ask for help so luckily it wasn't hard. We had no issues with our car though the last day before our return, our car started saying take in soon for oil change?? Ummm. That should have been taken care of before. What if I had more days? No idea. As for the return, thank goodness we were early. Sixt returns held up the whole ramp and even made it hard for all the other car rental folks. It was jammed back! Usually, you would drive up to the front for your return. It was backed all the way to the end. We literally again waited 30min +to do a return. Wow!!! They even said this was the bigger location. Has potential but needs a lot of work!!

One thing that stood out to me was that while SIXT had a line nearly around the corner--clearly indicating strong business and demand--nearby competitors appeared to have minimal wait times, with only a few customers being assisted at once. This speaks volumes about the success and popularity of your brand, which is a huge positive. However, it also highlights an opportunity. During high-demand periods, ensuring proper staffing levels can make a critical difference in the customer experience. Time is incredibly valuable, and in my case, the delay shortened the time I had planned to spend with my son. We had hoped to share a meal together, but instead, I had to rush to get him to work. While individual circumstances may not always be visible to staff, the collective experience matters. Customers arriving after long travel days are often tired, eager, and sometimes emotionally carrying more than meets the eye. Creating a smoother, more efficient transition from arrival to vehicle pickup would not only improve satisfaction but also strengthen customer loyalty. SIXT is clearly doing many things right--your demand reflects that. With a few operational adjustments around staffing during peak times, the experience could match the strength of your brand.
